The Spanish playmaker has slotted into the Premier League with so much ease he almost seems one of Chelsea’s central characters already. Wolves will have to be on their toes when Mata is on the ball; his vision and passing can unlock a team in seconds.
With the Chelsea defence set to be low on confidence, Kevin Doyle may look to take his physical approach to the home side and unsettle the likes of John Terry and David Luiz early on. If Wolves are to take something from the game, expect the Irishman to play a part.
While I think this will be far from a walkover, I do see Chelsea picking up a win without too much trouble. If John Terry can keep the defence organised more thoroughly than in previous games then it should be easier for the midfield to push up and cause problems for the Wolves defence.
