  • That's it from the Bridge and from me, Harry Slavin. Thanks for tuning in for this evening's actions. We'll have FA Cup football tomorrow for you, but until then, goodbye for now!
  • FULL-TIME: CHELSEA 4-0 TOTTENHAM. A second half masterclass from Tottenham in how not to defend has handed Chelsea an emphatic victory at Stamford Bridge. Eto'o, Hazard and Ba all benefited from a series of awful mistakes and Mourinho's men are now seven points clear at the top of the league and well and truly in the driving seat for the title.
  • 90' + 3'
Into the final minute of stoppage time we go then. Those last two goals have really put a shine on this result.
  • 90' + 1'
Tim Sherwood looks thoroughly miffed. I'm not surprised. He's just watched his side gift this game to Chelsea. Every single goal has been the result of a mistake or lapse in concentration. This kind of performance is unforgivable from a Spurs point of view.
  • 89'
    Goal Demba Ba
GOOOAALL!!! BA AT THE DOUBLE!!! This is getting ridiculous. Tottenham assist another Chelsea goal as Walker's header back towards Lloris is picked up by Ba, who pinches the ball away from the keeper and fires into an empty net.
  • 88'
    Goal Demba Ba
GOOAAAALLL!!! BA MAKES IT THREE!!! A third mistake from Tottenham and a third goal for Chelsea. Oscar puts in a cross and Sandro slips, allowing Ba to pick up the ball and slip it between the legs of Lloris.
  • 86'
    Yellow Card César Azpilicueta
  • 86'
We're into the final five minutes then. That mad five minute spell of two goals and red card killed this game off as a competition and it's been a bit of a training exercise in keep-ball for the hosts since then.
  • 84'
Oscar has another chance as he gets on the end of Willian's cut back, but the midfielder fires well over the bar and into the stands. It doesn't look like that third goal is coming after all.
  • 82'
The home side are still searching for a third goal to put a bit of gloss on the result. Ba plays a lovely cross with the outside of his boot but Lloris pounces on the ball before it can reach Oscar.
  • 80'
A nasty looking clash leaves Sandro and Ba in a heap on the floor. The Brazilian looks to have come off the worst and is clutching his knee, but both are okay to resume after a spot of treatment.
  • 78'
A rare chance for Tottenham as Lennon scuttles away down the right. He only has the one option in the middle though and he's not on the same wavelength as Adebayor, the striker darting to the back post as Lennon tries to cut the ball back.
  • 76'
    SubstitutionSamuel Eto'o Demba Ba
  • 76'
Off comes Eto'o to rapturous applause. He's single-handedly won the game for Chelsea this evening. Demba Ba comes on for the final 15 minutes.
  • 75'
Sandro makes another vital interception as Chelsea threaten a third. Walker makes the mistake this time and Hazard thinks he's played through Eto'o for a simple tap in before the Brazilian gets back to clear.
  • 74'
Ramires is clean through on the right and has all the time in the world to pick out Eto'o. The Brazilian plays the ball too close to Lloris though and the keeper snaffles the loose ball.
  • 72'
    SubstitutionMichael Dawson Zeki Fryers
  • 72'
More bad news for Tottenham. Michael Dawson pulls up with an injury and he will have to go off. The captain's armband has gone to Vertonghen as Fryers comes on. It never rains but it pours for Sherwood.
  • 70'
The only reason I can think a foul isn't given here, is because Mike Oliver knows he'd have to send Sandro off. The Brazilian clearly obstructs Oscar after being nutmegs but the referee doesn't even award a free kick.
  • 68'
Eto'o is played in by Hazard but the Cameroon international has his jinking run curtailed on the edge of the area. Tottenham have gone into self preservation mode after losing a man and those two goals.
  • 66'
    SubstitutionAndre Schürrle Willian
  • 66'
A second change for Chelsea as Schurrle makes away and Willian comes on for the final half hour or so. Can he pile more misery on 10-man Tottenham?
  • 64'
Chelsea can sense blood now as they lay siege to the Tottenham goal. They've forced a couple of corners and have the visitors penned back in their own half.
  • 62'
Paulinho comes on for Sigurdsson as Sherwood is forced to shuffle his pack. It looks as though Tottenham's miserable run at the Bridge is going to continue.
  • 61'
    SubstitutionGylfi Sigurdsson Paulinho
  • 60'
    Penalty Goal Eden Hazard
GOOAAALL!!! HAZARD SCORES!!! The Belgian sends Lloris the wrong way and Chelsea now have what looks to be an unassailable lead.
  • 59'
    Red Card Younes Kaboul
RED CARD! Suddenly this game looks out of sight for Tottenham. More self-inflicted misery for Sherwood's side as Kaboul is sent off for a foul on Eto'o inside the area. Hazard will take the penalty.
  • 58'
The goal was accompanied by a fantastic celebration as Eto'o used the corner flag as a walking stick in response to recent speculation about his age. A perfect retort for the striker.
  • 56'
    Goal Samuel Eto'o
GOOOAAAALLL!!! ETO'O SCORES FOR CHELSEA!!! A calamitous moment for Vertonghen has gifted Chelsea the lead here. Vertonghen has the ball at the back but he slips and his attempted pass back is intercepted by Eto'o, the Cameroon star keeping his cool and firing past Lloris.
  • 54'
    Yellow Card Sandro
  • 53'
    Yellow Card Kyle Naughton
  • 53'
Yellow card for Naughton, but you feel he's done the right thing here from a Spurs point of view. If he doesn't bring down Hazard, the Belgian is through and free to run at Dawson. As it is though, Chelsea have a free kick in the Spurs half.
  • 51'
Chelsea play the ball in over the top and Schurrle is in behind. He shows a decent first touch but he doesn't get much purchase on his shot and it's rolls into the hands of Lloris. A good opening for Chelsea, they need to make more of those types of chances.
  • 49'
Kaboul rises highest to meet a corner but his header is straight at Cech. A promising start for Tottenham though in this second half.
  • 47'
Jan Vertonghen tries to spice things up early on with a chip to catch Cech off his line. The ball floats over the bar and the Czech keeper probably had it covered, but an early sign of intent.
  • 46'
    SubstitutionFrank Lampard Oscar
  • 46'
Chelsea get us back underway at the Bridge. Hopefully we are in for a much more intriguing second half. That change from Chelsea could be key.
  • The teams are back out after the break. Mourinho has made a change as Oscar comes on for Lampard. Will that give Chelsea the extra dimension they've been missing?
  • Chelsea didn't muster a single shot on goal in that first half. They struggled to overcome a Spurs midfield that seems a lot more aggressive. The frustration was clear in Lampard's poor tackle towards the end of the half. Mourinho needs to change something at the break.
  • HALF-TIME: CHELSEA 0-0 TOTTENHAM. It started brightly for Chelsea - and could've been a different story had the linesman's flag stayed down - but since then both sides have been cancelling each other out. A lot to play for in the second half, but both sides need to decide how badly they want the win.
  • 45' + 1'
We are into two minutes of stoppage time at the end of the first half.
  • 44'
Tottenham deal with the corners and the danger is clear. There haven't been any real chances for Chelsea since Hazard's miss in the opening minutes. They haven't been at their best.
  • 42'
Just a couple of minutes left until the break. Chelsea have a corner as they push to break the deadlock before the half-time whistle.
  • 40'
    Yellow Card Frank Lampard
  • 40'
Nasty challenge from Lampard on Sandro from behind and he is in the book. He came straight though the back of the Brazilian there. You can't do that.
  • 37'
Vertonghen has been itching to get forward down the left for Tottenham. He's already sent in a couple of crosses and he wins a free kick in the Chelsea half here after being bundled to the ground by Matic.
  • 35'
We haven't seen much of Walker in his unfamiliar attacking role. He finds a bit of space down the right now though, his cross from the bye-line having to be dealt with by Cech.
  • 33'
The game hasn't really sprung in to life yet, despite threatening to. Both sides have been wasteful in really good positions and it's making for a scrappy affair as both sides try to limit those chances.
  • 31'
An awful mistake from Bentaleb in the middle of the park releases Eto'o through on goal. He doesn't spot the run of Hazard though and is forced wide before sending his shirt into the side-netting. That's a real let off for the Spurs midfielder.
  • 29'
Lampard sends in a deep cross and it finds its way all the way through to Matic at the back post, but he can't direct his header on target.
  • 27'
Aaron Lennon picks the ball up from Adebayor and tries to forge a path towards goal. He can't find a way past a wall of Blue jerseys though and his shot is blocked, as is Bentaleb's follow-up.
  • 25'
Schurrle is clean through on goal but the chance is derailed by the linesman's flag. A little impatient from the German as there was plenty space in behind there, no need to be caught offside.
  • 23'
Great hit from Sandro! The Brazilian almost marks his 100th appearance for Spurs with a thunderous volley that forces Cech into a smart stop. The first time either keeper has been tested.
  • 21'
Just approaching the half way point of the half. Bentaleb and Hazard have gone close but neither side have managed to assert themselves early on here.
  • 19'
Spurs come forward again but Lennon can't quite control the ball at the back post after homing in on a cross from Walker. Sherwood's men certainly look a lot more settled now.
  • 17'
The game has slowed a touch after Chelsea's frantic start. Mourinho will no doubt feel his side should be in front. They aren't though, and their opponents are growing in confidence.
  • 15'
Tim Sherwood is looking to become the first Tottenham manager to win at the Bridge in the Premier League era. His side have been trying to utilise Adebayor's aerial prowess early on here but Cahill and Terry are closing that route to goal for now.
  • 13'
Bentaleb with a big chance for Spurs! Adebayor rises high to flick the ball on into the midfielder's path but he never gets the ball out of his feet as bares down on goal and his shot is dragged harmlessly wide. A decent opening for Spurs goes begging.
  • 11'
After their shaky start, Tottenham are beginning to feel their way into this. They move the ball down the left again and hold onto possession well. It all goes a bit pear-shaped when they try and switch the play to the other wing, the ball rolling out of play before Walker can get there.
  • 9'
    Yellow Card Nabil Bentaleb
  • 9'
Mark Oliver brandishes his yellow card for the first time this evening as Nabil Bentaleb hauls down Ramires in the middle of the park. It's not the most sensible of bookings to be picking up this early on.
  • 7'
Spurs try and muster their first attack of the game. Adebayor and Lennon combine down the left and Ivanovic is forced to put the ball behind for a corner.
  • 5'
Chelsea are in again here! Hazard is through and he rounds Lloris, but he's off balance and can't get his shot on target. A lively start from the hosts. Spurs need to wake up.
  • 3'
To make matters worse for Chelsea, it appears the linesman got it wrong! Eto'o looked level when he went through there. That could have been a disastrous start for Tottenham!
  • 1'
Within 30 seconds there are worrying scenes for Chelsea. Eto'o is offside but neither the Cameroonian or Hugo Lloris know and the striker is injured in a challenge by the keeper. It's the last thing Chelsea needed after Torres was injured in the warm up.
  • 1'
Mark Oliver blows his whistle and we are underway here!
  • Some late news on the line ups. Torres has had to withdraw from the Chelsea time after injuring his groin in the warm up so Eto'o comes in up top.
  • The teams are out at the Bridge. Torres looks to have given Ramires a loan of his protective mask after he broke his nose against Galatasaray.
  • Meanwhile Tottenham's hero last weekend Soldado is dropped to the bench as Adebayor comes in. Sandro makes his 100th appearance for the club, while Lennon will be making his 250th for Spurs.
  • Schurrle continues in the midfield for Chelsea, fresh off the back of his hat-trick last weekend, while Torres continues up front instead of Eto'o.
  • TOTTENHAM: (4-2-3-1) Lloris; Naughton, Dawson, Kaboul, Vertonghen; Bentaleb, Sandro; Walker, Lennon, Sigurdsson; Adebayor.
  • CHELSEA: (4-2-3-1) Cech; Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Azpilicueta; Matic, Lampard; Ramires, Hazard, Schurrle; Torres.
  • I'm Harry Slavin and I'll be here to take you through all the action from London. We are around 15 minutes from kick off so let's get the team news. We'll start with the hosts.
  • The Bridge hasn't been a happy hunting ground for Tottenham in recent years. Spurs have never won a Premier League game at their London rivals and you have to go back to 1990 to find the last time they were able to celebrate a win away at the Blues.
  • Jose Mourinho has never failed to win a title when his team has been top the table going into March. We're into March and Chelsea sit four point clear at the top of the Premier League. They welcome Tottenham to Stamford Bridge this afternoon as they look to extend that lead.
