  • And that's it for tonight after a shock result in the Capital One Cup that sees Swansea take a big step towards a Wembley final, where they could well meet League Two Bradford City. Stay with Goal.com in the coming days for all the fallout. Goodnight!
  • Here's a final update from Liam Twomey at Stamford Bridge: "It's all over at the Bridge amid a chorus of boos. Branislav Ivanovic's two horrendous mistakes may have consigned Chelsea to their first home defeat to Swansea since 1925, but all angry eyes were focused elsewhere - on Fernando Torres who, after his umpteenth anonymous performance, appears to have finally exhausted the patience of Blues fans, and on Rafa Benitez, who waited far too long to introduce a genuine striker in the form of Demba Ba. This post-match press conference could be interesting..."
  • This Capital One Cup semi-final is far from over, but Chelsea have got some serious work to do at the Liberty Stadium if they are to overturn the deficit and make the final after Danny Graham's late goal.
  • 90' + 4'
    FULL TIME: Chelsea 0-2 Swansea
  • 90' + 4'
It's worth mentioning that in amongst all the drama, Ba came so close to latching onto a loose ball, but was booked for diving after minimal contact from Tremmel. What drama at the end of this game!
  • 90' + 3'
GOOOAA...NO! Ba thinks he's scored but he's ruled offside and it's extremely tight! Dramatic closing stages here!
  • 90' + 2'
    Goal Danny Graham
  • 90' + 1'
    Yellow Card Demba Ba
  • 90'
We're into the final minute of normal time. Can Chelsea carve out another opening? No, but Azpilicueta tries his luck from a long, long way out and volleys over.
  • 87'
OOH! Ba goes closer than Torres did all night with a header that just misses the top corner and drifts off target.
  • 85'
David Luiz has a blast from over 25 yards out - why not? - and sends it high over the bar. Chelsea are running out of ideas and Swansea are closing in on a massive advantage heading into the second leg.
  • 83'
    Substitution Michu Danny Graham
  • 83'
    Substitution Oscar Marko Marin
  • 81'
    Substitution Fernando Torres Demba Ba
  • 80'
Oscar and Azpilicueta combine again and the full-back sends in a cross, but Williams clears once more. Swansea have answered almost every question asked of them defensively tonight.
  • 77'
Chelsea fail to capitalise on a dangerous cross from Oscar, and are nearly punished as Swansea break and Michu passes the ball into the net, but is half a yard offside.
  • 74'
Torres has probably his best chance of the game, and it's merely half a glance at goal at that. Mata's cross is flicked on by the striker, but it's easy for Tremmel.
  • 71'
    Substitution Ramires Frank Lampard
  • 69'
Mata takes a free kick after a pull on Hazard, but it is uncharacteristically overhit. Here's Liam Twomey at Stamford Bridge: "Chelsea seem short of ideas, and are dealt another blow as Ramires goes down clutching his leg. Chants of 'Super Frank Lampard' once again reverberate around Stamford Bridge. It surely won't be long before he - and Demba Ba - are introduced."
  • 67'
Chelsea waste a corner yet again. Swansea are happily absorbing the pressure, here, and the hosts just can't cut them open.
  • 65'
The calls for "Super Franky Lampard" have turned into a full-blown chant as the midfielder warms up.
  • 62'
    Substitution Wayne Routledge Dwight Tiendalli
  • 62'
Another Chelsea corner comes to nothing, despite Tremmel coming to meet it, but only getting a palm to the ball. Meanwhile Dwight Tiendalli is ready to come on for Swansea, and there's a pitch invader. People still do that in 2013, apparently.
  • 59'
So close for Chelsea! David Luiz finds himself running onto a ball in the Swansea area and crashes a shot at goal which looks destined for the bottom corner, but Tremmel JUST gets down in time to smother it. The goalkeeper ended up more or less on top of the ball, there.
  • 57'
David Luiz has another free kick, much more central to the goal, and goes closer, but is still off target. The Brazilian had been held back by De Guzman.
  • 54'
That's ambitious from Michu to say the least, but in the form he's in, can you blame him? The striker connects with a Routledge cross with an acrobatic scissor kick but it's nowhere near the goal and ends up in the stands.
  • 52'
Hazard, for all his enterprise, has had enough of running at the defence on this occasion and opts to shoot from long range, but his well-struck effort hits Mata and bounces wide.
  • 49'
David Luiz tries his luck with one of those flat free kicks with a straight run up, but fires over the bar.
  • 48'
    Yellow Card Chico
  • 45'
No changes at half time for either side, and Chelsea kick us off.
  • Well, how about that? It's not the first time and it won't be the last, but after dominating for most of the first half, Chelsea lose focus at the back and Michu pounces to score. Here's Liam Twomey at the Bridge: "A frustrating first half for Chelsea. They've had the better of the ball, but created few clear openings, and one sloppy mistake means they trail at the interval. Mata has been wasteful, Torres has been anonymous, and Michu has been the difference."
  • 45' + 2'
    HALF TIME: Chelsea 0-1 Swansea
  • 45' + 2'
Last chance before the half time whistle blows falls to Chelsea as Mata chips to David Luiz in the box, but Swansea manage to clear and referee Anthony Taylor calls time.
  • 45'
Here's Liam Twomey at Stamford Bridge on that Michu goal, just before half time: "If you're under orders to pass the ball out from the back no matter what, you're sometimes going to look very silly. Branislav Ivanovic will surely be having nightmares about that first touch, but Michu had a lot to do, and his finish was at once sublime and entirely predictable for a man who has taken the Premier League by storm. Were you watching, Fernando?"
  • 43'
OOH! Ivanovic, looking to make amends for that slip, lets fly with a rasping effort, but Tremmel palms it away.
  • 42'
    Yellow Card Pablo Hernández
  • 39'
    Assist Jonathan De Guzmán
  • 39'
    Goal Michu
  • 37'
Here's more from our reporter Liam Twomey at Stamford Bridge: "Eden Hazard looks to be Chelsea's likeliest source of a breakthrough so far, all clever touches and driving runs. The classy Belgian has already laid a chance on a plate for Juan Mata, but the Spaniard shot tamely into the grateful arms of Gerhard Tremmel. The Blues are providing moments of magic here, but no sustained siege, as Swansea prove typically adept at keeping the ball."
  • 34'
The hosts are getting closer and closer. This time David Luiz's searching high pass through the middle is met by Oscar, but the No.11 can't quite get it under control and the attack trickles out.
  • 33'
OOH! Mata is inches away from latching onto a square ball from Torres, but Tremmel is there first with a brave piece of goalkeeping.
  • 31'
More delightful play from Chelsea and Mata goes close again. This time the Spain star is played in by a cute flick from Oscar and the former Valencia man rolls the ball into his path and teases a shot towards the far post, which is a whisker away from finding the goal.
  • 29'
Swansea are attempting to hurt the hosts in wide areas, with Davies and Routledge combining to cause Azpilicueta some problems, but the full-back is able to clear.
  • 27'
Chelsea go close again through Mata. Eden Hazard drives at the Swansea back four and passes to his fellow forward, but the shot lacks venom and Tremmel collects.
  • 26'
Another corner for Chelsea doesn't quite come off. Gary Cahill rises to meet the delivery after Ben Davies was forced to turn a cross behind, but the centre-back heads over.
  • 24'
Chelsea are back on the attack immediately, as Cesar Azpilicueta robs Ki in the Swansea half, but he drags his shot wide.
  • 22'
Swansea test Ross Turnbull for the first time, as Angel Rangel blocks a clearance and the ball finds its way to Michu, but his low strike from distance is fairly comfortable for the Blues goalkeeper to deal with.
  • 21'
Here's our man Liam Twomey with his view from Stamford Bridge: "We're still in the early stages, but this is shaping up to be a fascinating cup tie. Chelsea began with good intensity, tempo and movement, and only Ramires' tame finish denied them a sensational opening goal from a flowing move. But Swansea have settled into their work now too, with Leon Britton in particular putting in a masterclass in the middle of the park. Finely poised is an understatement."
  • 19'
Swansea just aren't seeing much of the ball in Chelsea's half. Williams plays the ball out from the back in the hope of releasing Wayne Routledge on the left, but the winger is not quick enough to reach an ambitious pass and the hosts have the ball again.
  • 17'
More sustained possession for Chelsea, who are knocking the ball around really tidily so far. This time Mata attempts to cross for Torres, but the ball is cleared.
  • 15'
Swansea, for the first time in the opening stages, have been able to string a few passes together, but Pablo Hernandez gives up possession and the hosts have the ball again.
  • 12'
OOOH! An absolutely beautiful move from Chelsea so nearly produces a goal! David Luiz carries the ball out from the back and a swift interchange on the edge of the box sees Oscar and Hazard release Ramires on the right, but the Brazilian stalls on his shot, which is easily saved by Tremmel. Lovely move, though.
  • 10'
The hosts are just starting to dominate somewhat. Another corner is fruitless, but the home side retain possession and Torres blasts over from around 25 yards out.
  • 8'
Corner for Chelsea. Good work by Oscar on the right, whose low cross is blocked by Ashley Williams. Juan Mata's corner comes to nothing, but Ki Sung-Yeung might have been adjudged to have pulled David Luiz over in the penalty area.
  • 5'
De Guzman has been given a free kick for a foul by Ramires which is taken early, but Michu is offside and the set piece is wasted.
  • 3'
Interestingly, Pablo Hernandez, who typically might be expected to operate on the left hand side, has started on the right flank.
  • 1'
David Luiz is straight into the action, bundling over Leon Britton as Swansea are awarded a free kick.
  • 1'
And we're off! Michu and Jonathan de Guzman kick off.
  • Anyway, enough of the preamble. Ashleys Cole and Williams have led their sides out onto the pitch and we're just a couple of minutes away from the start.
  • Like Ba, Swansea boss Michael Laudrup has hit the Premier League ground running. The Denmark legend has been a manager in England for little more than six months, but his side sits ninth in the league and can take a huge step towards a Wembley cup final with a victory tonight.
  • So Benitez offers Torres the chance to get among the goals tonight. Ba's impressive debut will have given the Spain international plenty of food for thought, and the former Newcastle man was well received by the Stamford Bridge crowd when announced over the stadium PA for the first time moments ago.
  • For Swansea, Danny Graham makes way for Michu despite scoring the crucial late equaliser against Arsenal on Sunday, while Michel Vorm, Dwight Tiendalli, Kyle Bartley and Nathan Dyer make way for Gerhard Tremmel, Angel Rangel, Ashley Williams and Pablo Hernandez.
  • Blues boss Rafa Benitez has made use of his attacking options, with Fernando Torres given the nod ahead of Demba Ba, who scored twice on his debut in the FA Cup against Southampton. Meanwhile, Victor Moses has departed for the Africa Cup of Nations, so Oscar comes into the starting XI, and youngster Nathan Ake earns a place on the bench.
  • Swansea: Tremmel; Rangel, Chico, Williams, Davies; Britton, De Guzman; Routledge, Ki, Hernandez; Michu. Subs: Vorm, Monk, Tiendalli, Agustien, Shechter, Dyer, Graham.
  • Chelsea: Turnbull; Azpilicueta, Ivanovic, Cahill, Cole; Luiz, Ramires; Hazard, Oscar, Mata; Torres. Subs: Hilario, Ferreira, Bertrand, Lampard, Ake, Marin, Ba.
  • We're just under 20 minutes from kick off and the teams are in, with both managers making changes.
  • Good evening and welcome to Goal.com's LIVE text coverage of the Capital One Cup semi-final first leg clash between Chelsea and Swansea at Stamford Bridge.
