That's your lot, folks! Thank you for following Goal.com's live coverage of tonight's Champions League matches and we'll see you again soon! Chelsea fans, chin up - you're still in Europe!
And with that, Chelsea become the first ever defending champions to go out during the group stage of the competition.
90' + 2'
Full-time! And it’s Thursday night football for Chelsea as they go out of the Champions League and into the Europa League. A much-needed victory for the Blues and Rafa Benitez though, as well as two vital goals for a struggling Fernando Torres. It’s finished Chelsea 6-1 Nordsjaelland at Stamford Bridge.
Yellow Card David Luiz
Chelsea are in search of a seventh here and it's Hazard who is leading the charge. The Belgian skips past two players on the edge of the area before running into Parkhurst.
The party tricks are coming out now, as Torres clips the ball into Moses who fends off his marker before backheeling the ball towards goal. Hansen saves comfortably, however. Chelsea fans are pouring out of the stadium.
Yellow Card Patrick Mtiliga
The Chelsea fans are forced back to life, as Cahill and Luiz, who both appear to be playing on the right wing at the moment, link up with a neat one-two.
A sad reminder for those Chelsea fans who have missed tonight's action so far: the Blues go out as it stands. Juventus are 1-0 up against Shakhtar Donetsk, and unless the Ukrainians can find two goals before the end of that match, the Italians will join them in the knockout stages.
Great play by Chelsea! Hazard whips a ball in from the left which Torres plucks out of the air with his right foot. He holds on to possession for a few seconds before setting up Oscar. The Brazilian drives the ball towards goal from 12 yards out but Hansen tips it over the bar.
Even Chelsea look to be tiring of this match now. But in a rare flash of action, Torres takes on Parkhurst and goes down for the millionth time in the area, only to be told to get up by the referee. Maybe three penalties is enough for one evening.
Throwback for Chelsea fans: Paulo Ferreira - Jose Mourinho's first signing at the club - has come on for Juan Mata.
David Luiz clearly has his eye on a second goal, as he pops up in the penalty area and attempts a strike at goal from a tight angle. Mtiliga blocks well and it goes out for a corner.
Assist Juan Mata
GOAL FOR CHELSEA. And it was always coming! Oscar, who only came on for Ramires a few minutes ago, races through on to a Mata through-ball and slots the ball calmly past the keeper. Chelsea 6-1 Nordsjaelland!
It's continuing much like it has been throughout, as Chelsea probe the Nordsjaelland defence by rolling the ball casually around the midfield and searching for an opening. Fair play to some of the visitors' players though, as they continue to chase as they have from the first minute. And, obviously, David Luiz is creeping further and further forwards...
The hosts are putting men through for fun now, as this time it's Torres who goes close to his hat-trick but can't find a way past Hansen. We might be in danger of a cricket score.
Goal Juan Mata
GOAL FOR CHELSEA! And it's now 5-1. Mata - who has been fantastic for the Blues this evening - exchanges passes well with Hazard in the Nordsjaelland penalty area before striking the ball straight at Hansen. The keeper can only parry the ball straight back into the path of the Spaniard and he makes no mistake second time round.
Torres goes down under the challenge of Adu, and it looks as though it's the most convincing shout for a penalty we've seen all evening. The referee waves play on, however.
And with that news, Stamford Bridge has gone from the electrifying atmosphere you'd expect when the Blues are 4-1 up to near silence.
Bad news for Chelsea fans, though, as Giovinco has scored for Juventus against Shakhtar giving the Italian's a 1-0 lead. Remember that Juve only need a draw to go through at Chelsea's expense, so unless the Ukrainians can find two goals the Blues will go out.
Assist Eden Hazard
Goal Fernando Torres
GOAL FOR CHELSEA! It's Torres who applies the finish from a couple of yards out, but all credit must go to Hazard. The Belgian does fantastically to beat Gundelach before putting it on a plate for the Spaniard. Chelsea 4-1 Nordsjaelland.
Fantastic play from Mata, as he plucks the ball out of the air with a delightful piece of control before selling Mtiliga a dummy and curling a shot towards to the top corner. To the relief of Hansen, it's just wide.
Completely insignificant until next year, but Mtiliga has just picked up a yellow card which means that he will miss Nordsjaelland's next tie in the competition.
Assist Juan Mata
Goal Gary Cahill
GOAL FOR CHELSEA! Well then fans weren't silent for long! Mata whips in a free kick from the right wing and Cahill rises highest to send a powerful header into the top corner. Fantastic header from the centre-back. Chelsea 3-1 Nordsjaelland.
Yellow Card Michael Parkhurst
And the Chelsea fans are somewhat subdued by the quick start of their opponents, as a small contingent continue to get behind their side but the majority remain largely silent.
Assist K. Lorentzen
Goal Joshua John
GOAL! And it's gone to Nordsjaelland! A great ball from Stokholm finds John, who manages to find space in behind Ivanovic and smash the ball past Cech. Chelsea 2-1 Nordsjaelland.
Nordsjaelland get us back underway!
The second period is just minutes away. WIth Chelsea leading 2-0, Rafa Benitez could be in line for his first win as Blues boss, and the club's first victory in their last six matches.
Remember to keep those tweets coming throughout the match. Who do you think has been the best player so far? Will Chelsea make it through? Let me know your views @alfiemeekings.
Here are the other half-time scores from around Europe: Shakhtar Donetsk 0-0 Juventus; Bayern Munich 1-0 BATE; Lille 0-1 Valencia; Barcelona 0-0 Benfica; Celtic 1-1 Spartak Moscow; Braga 1-0 Galatasaray; Man Utd 0-0 Cluj.
45' + 4'
Half-time! And it’s largely been a tale of three penalties so far at Stamford Bridge. Nordsjaelland won the first, but Cech saved fantastically from Stokholm. The second went Chelsea’s way, but Eden Hazard failed to beat Jesper Hansen. Finally, a second spot kick was awarded to the hosts and David Luiz made no mistake, smashing it into the top corner. Fernando Torres then added a second with a smart run in behind the defence, but it remains 0-0 between Shakhtar and Juventus in Ukraine, which means that Chelsea will go out as it stands.

Goal Fernando Torres
GOAL FOR CHELSEA! And it's that man Fernando Torres! He's looked confident all night and he's finally got his reward. Victor Moses slots a beautiful pass through to Torres, who races away from Parkhurst and slips the ball calmly past Hansen. Chelsea 2-0 Nordsjaelland.
Surprisingly, Luiz and Torres are linking up well during this first half. The Brazilian is known for his marauding runs out of defence, but has played three fantastic long balls towards the Spaniard this evening, and each could easily have resulted in a goal for the Blues.
Chelsea clearly aren't content to take a 1-0 lead into the break, as they continue to press and probe the Nordsjaelland defence. They'll certainly need another before they can feel any kind of comfort.
Penalty Goal David Luiz
GOAL! David Luiz does what two others have failed to do before him this evening; scores the penalty! The Brazilian takes an enormous run up and smashes it into the top corner. Chelsea 1-0 Nordsjaelland!
IT'S A THIRD PENALTY! It goes Chelsea's way, as Adu handles in the box. David Luiz to take...
Yellow Card Anders Christiansen
It's a yellow card for Anders Christiansen, as he goes in hard on Romeu. The referee signals that it's for persistent fouling.
Missed Penalty Eden Hazard
Penalty save Jesper Hansen
SAVED! Hazard shoots low to the keeper's left, but Hansen dives the right way and palms the ball away. Not a great penalty from the Belgian. Once again, it is still Chelsea 0-0 Nordsjaelland!
PENALTY TO CHELSEA! And it's another handball. Eden Hazard whips a corner into the back post and Beckmann clearly handles. The Belgian will take it himself...
Penalty save Petr Cech
Missed Penalty Nikolai Stokholm
SAVED! Petr Cech dives to his right and guesses correctly! And it remains Chelsea 0-0 Nordsjaelland!!
PENALTY TO NORDSJAELLAND! The Danes enjoy a bit of possession before Gary Cahill clearly handles the ball. Stokholm to take...
Moses goes close again, as he shows a nice piece of skill before exchanging passes with Mata. He dribbles into the area, this time from the left, and drives the ball towards goal, but Hansen palms the ball away.
Sustained pressure from the hosts at the moment, as they roll the ball around midfield probing for an opening. Every time the visitors attempt to clear, they can only find another blue shirt. Eventually Moses finds space on the right and drills the ball across the six-yard box, almost forcing Stokholm to turn the ball into his own net.
It's another 'nearly' moment for Torres, as David Luiz drives a fantastic 40 yard pass towards the Spaniard. He takes it on his chest half way inside the penalty area, but Parkhurst steps in well to knock the ball clear before Torres can get a shot away.
It's still 0-0 in Ukraine between Shakhtar Donetsk and Juventus. Remember, we will be keeping you up-to-date on that score throughout the night!
First chance for Nordsjaelland, as Adu spreads the ball wide to John. The Dutchman dips inside Ivanovic and whips a cross towards Beckmann, but Cech comes off his line to punch clear.
Ramires plays a delightful pass in behind Mtiliga for Victor Moses to race onto, but the linesman's flag is up - correctly - for offside. Benitez will be happy with the incision his side have shown so far.
Chelsea fans have launched into the now-customary round of applause on the sixteenth minute in honour of former manager Roberto Di Matteo, who used to wear the number 16 on the back of his shirt.
More good work from Torres, who it must be said looks confident this evening. He turns well almost 30 yards from goal before shaping to shoot, but instead laying the ball off to Branislav Ivanovic. The Serbian attempts the cross but is charged down.
Chelsea are really showing their superiority now. Eden Hazard shows a great turn of pace to race away from two opposing players and drive down the left. He attempts a cross with the outside of his right boot, but Parkhurst does well to block it.
Great stuff from Chelsea, and particularly Fernando Torres, as they begin to overrun the visitors. Roars erupt as Torres chips Hansen beautifully, but the Spaniard is clearly offside. Moments later the former Liverpool man forces another smart save from the Nordsjaelland keeper. Positive stuff from the home side!
CHANCE! And it's very nearly 1-0 to Chelsea! Ashley Cole and Fernando Torres link up well on the left, before the former drives a ball in to the back post. Victor Moses meets the ball well on the volley, but Hansen saves and keeps hold of the ball.
Play has stopped here momentarily, as Nordsjaelland centre-back Ivan Runje is down with an injury. It's not good news for the Danes, as Jores Okore is already missing through injury.
Two corners in quick succession for Chelsea, after good work first from Ivanovic and later by Juan Mata. Nordsjaelland defend both well, however, and eventually win a free kick after Ramires makes a clumsy challenge.
Chelsea get us underway!
The players are making their way onto the pitch at the Bridge for the pre-match handshakes. Kick-off just minutes away!
A quick stat for you before we get into the action: only five players who started for Chelsea in the Champions League final in May are present in tonight's lineup - Petr Cech, Ashley Cole, Gary Cahill, David Luiz and Juan Mata. Is it an improved starting XI? Only time will tell...
So what do you make of tonight’s team news folks? Do you think the Blues have enough about them to see off the challenge of Nordsjaelland, or will the Danes manage their first win of the competition? Get your views to me on Twitter @alfiemeekings. Under 10 minutes from kick-off at Stamford Bridge!
Needless to say, we’ll be keeping you updated on the score from the Donbass Arena throughout the evening.
And you will remember that Chelsea drew with Juventus at Stamford Bridge and lost heavily in Italy last month, meaning that Juve would win the head-to-head and make it through to the next round if it came down to it. Comprende? Fantastic!
A quick reminder of the challenge that the European champions face tonight: Chelsea must win to stand a chance of making it through to the knockout stage. However, they will be relying heavily on the result in the group’s other clash where Shakhtar Donetsk host Juventus. If the Italians manage a draw in Ukraine, it comes down to a head-to-head between them and the Blues.
The visitors – who are currently second in Denmark’s Superliga – make two changes from the side that beat bottom-placed Brondby 3-0 on Sunday. Patrick Mtiliga and Kasper Lorentzen step in to the starting XI in place of Andreas Laudrup and Mikkel Beckmann.
So, Rafa Benitez opts for the return of David Luiz at centre-back, allowing Branislav Ivanovic to revert to right-back at the expense of Cesar Azpilicueta. John Obi Mikel, who today signed a new five-year contract with the club, is replaced by Oriel Romeu, whilst Victor Moses continues in attack instead of Oscar.
Nordsjaelland (4-2-3-1): Hansen; Parkhurst, Gundelach, Runje, Mtiliga; Adu, Stokholm; Ticinovic, A. Christiansen, John; Lorentzen. Subs: Raagaard Jensen, Kildentoft, Maxso, Issah, Beckmann, Laudrup, Lindberg.
The teams are out, so we’ll get straight to it! Chelsea (4-2-3-1): Cech; Ivanovic, Cahill, Luiz, Cole; Romeu, Ramires; Moses, Mata, Hazard; Torres. Subs: Turnbull, Bertrand, Azpilicueta, Ferreira, Mikel, Marin, Oscar.
Good evening, and welcome to Goal.com’s live coverage of tonight’s Champions League clash between Chelsea and Nordsjaelland at Stamford Bridge. I’m Alfie Meekings and I’ll be talking you through every kick, save, cheer (and possibly tear) of this evening’s action.
