    Goal Eden Hazard
GOAL! The goals really are flowing now at Stamford Bridge as Eden Hazard makes it four but, once again, David Marshall will not be best pleased watching that one back. Frank Lampard releases Hazard down the left and the Belgian does superbly to check back inside Steven Caulker and fire in low at goal, but Marshall really should have dealt with it.

    Goal Oscar
GOAL! And that should be that for Chelsea, as substitute Oscar makes it 3-1 to the home side. Ramires battles well in midfield and dispossesses Aron Gunnarsson to feed the Brazilian, who advances and sends a dipping effort over the outstretched reach of David Marshall, who may feel he could have done slightly better with that.
  • 75'
So close to an equaliser for Cardiff, as Petr Cech denies Kim Bo-Kyung with a sprawling stop. Andrew Taylor's clever pass into the left-hand channel finds Kim, who unleashes a ferocious strike towards the far post but the Chelsea stalwart does superbly to reach out a hand and tip the ball away for a corner.
  • 73'

GOAL! Samuel Eto'o scores his first goal for Chelsea! A great spell of pressure from the hosts leads to them taking the lead. Eden Hazard picks up the ball outside the area and feeds a brilliant pass into Eto'o. The former Barcelona striker shuffles it past Steven Caulker before rifling an effort past the keeper and into the bottom corner.
  • 65'
WHAT A CHANCE! Peter Whittingham whips a great cross in from the left and it is knocked down for Aron Gunnarsson on the edge of the box. His effort is appalling though, as he fails to shoot or cross the ball, and Chelsea clear the danger away.

  • HALF-TIME and it's Chelsea 1-1 Cardiff thanks to two freak goals. Jordon Mutch capitalised on David Luiz's lax defending to dink past Petr Cech before David Marshall's clanger allowed Samuel Eto'o to nip in and eventually tee up Eden Hazard to level matters at the break.

The Belgian returned the favour, but once the Cameroonian squandered the chance, Hazard was on hand to turn the ball home.
  • 31'
Eden Hazard drives at the defence and tries to slip in the overlapping Ryan Bertrand but cannot quite keep his footing as Fernando Torres already begins his warm-up down on the touchline.David Marshall is lucky, meanwhile, as he looks to have handled outside the area when collecting a long ball.

Fans around Stamford Bridge are beginning to get frustrated with their side's sloppy start. The hosts have largely controlled possession but are not getting in behind the Bluebirds' defence enough for Jose Mourinho's liking and he won't be happy with his side's defending as Aron Gunnarsson is afforded too much room, but the Icelandic international can only head over.

  • 19'
Juan Mata's delivery from the corner flag is much better this time around, as he picks out John Terry's near-post run and the skipper's header is firm but veers just beyond the upright with Gary Medel covering on the far post.
  • 16'
Chelsea earn a corner after more good forward play from Samuel Eto'o but Juan Mata's delivery is disappointing and the set play ultimately comes to nothing. Cardiff are content to sit and protect the precious advantage they have established.
  • 13'
The goal has stunned Chelsea, who cannot get any sort of rhythm going in their play. Cardiff boss Malky Mackay will be delighted with the start his side have made here.
  • 10'
    Goal Jordon Mutch
GOAL! Cardiff stun Stamford Bridge as they take the lead with their first attempt on goal but they owe a great deal of gratitude to David Luiz here as Jordon Mutch opens the scoring. From a routine clearance from goalkeeper David Marshall the ball is played back to the Brazilian, who inexplicably leaves the ball for Petr Cech to collect but Jordon Mutch nips in to dink the ball over the Blues stopper to send the travelling faithful into raptures.

  • 1'
And we're underway as Cardiff, kicking from right to left in this first half, get the ball rolling.
  • The Bluebirds can take comfort, however, in the fact they won the last time these two faced off in the top flight. Cardiff were 3-2 winners way back in September 1961.
  • The stats do not read well for Cardiff fans either. The last time the two sides met was in an FA Cup fifth-round clash in February 2010 as today's hosts ran out comfortable 4-1 winners.Chelsea's current unbeaten streak in the league here stands at 11 games, with 10 victories and just the one draw while the Blues have scored at least two goals in their last eight league games here too.
  • But today's opposition will not be about to hand out any favours as Jose Mourinho look to maintain their 100% league record at Stamford Bridge so far this campaign, off the back of a four-game unbeaten run on the road prior to the international hiatus.
  • It has been a turbulent week at the Cardiff City Stadium, to say the least, after head of recruitment Iain Moody was relieved of his duties but Bluebirds fans will have breathed a huge sigh of relief that Malky Mackay remains in charge.
  • So Willian and Eden Hazard, after their goalscoring cameos in Chelsea's late win at Carrow Road, are drafted in as Oscar drops to the bench and Andre Schurrle sits out after sustaining an injury with Germany despite his hat-trick heroics. Samuel Eto'o also enters the fray to replace Demba Ba, who drops out of the squad altogether.
  • Cardiff line-up: Marshall; Theophile-Catherine, Caulker, Turner, Taylor; Gunnarsson, Medel; Mutch, Cowie, Whittingham; Odemwingie.Substitutes: Lewis, Hudson, Campbell, Kim, Gestede, Noone, Maynard.
