  • 87'
Brazil have a free-kick just outside the box, but it was very nearly a penalty. Ganso played a delightful lobbed pass over the defence for Pato, but the striker is barged over. Good chance here.
  • 85'
Neymar is back on the ball, steaming towards the Egypt defence, skipping past one defender, but Hegazy is there to steal the ball and concede a throw-in. The new Fiorentina signing has been immense for Egypt today.
  • 84'
Brazil have themselves a free-kick about 30 yards out after Neymar was fouled, but a shot isn't taken, instead Brazil elect to retain possession.
  • 83'
The Egypt corner is met by Motaeb, but Rafael gets the final touch at the front-post, however a goalkick is given, much to the annoyance of Egypt.

  • 79'
    Substitution Saleh Gomaa Shehab Ahmed
  • 79'
Excellent chance for Brazil to get a fourth! Neymar released Marcelo down the left and into the area, but the Real Madrid man appeared to be unable to make his mind up as his effort wasn't much of a shot or cross. Poor.
  • 78'
    Substitution Sandro Danilo
  • 78'
Brazil looking very on-edge now thanks to that goal, but they are back on the attack following three substitutions.
  • 77'
    Substitution Leandro Damião Alexandre Pato
  • 76'
    Goal Mohamed Salah
  • 76'
GOAL! Egypt are back in this! Brazil failed to clear their lines and the ball eventually fell to Mohamed Salah in the Selecao area, who after dropping his right shoulder, placed an shot down to Neto's right. Well well well, this is going to be an intriguing final 15 minutes.
  • 72'
    Substitution Hulk Ganso
  • 71'
    Yellow Card Mahmoud Alaa Eldin
  • 70'
Pretty terrible tackle from Hegazy in a very similar situation that saw Gomaa booked in the first half. Romulo had the ball on the right and flicked the ball through Hegazy, who came flying in two-footed. Again, just a booking.
  • 68'
Brazil have been pretty sloppy in the second-half so far, particularly in the last ten minutes or so, with their passing suffering the most. However, in fairness Egypt have massively improved.
  • 66'
Egypt looking very dangerous on the break at the moment. Salah has been excellent on the right since coming on and he drifted inside, finding Aboutrika on the left. Salah continued his run into the area which Aboutrika spotted, but the pass had only a slightly too much on it. Nearly brilliant.
  • 64'
A little coming together between Ramadan and Sando in the corner there. The Brazilian really got into him before knocking Ramadan to the ground. The Egyptian reacted by pushing Sandro, but no cards dished out.
  • 62'
Very good play by Salah down the right as he tricks his way past Marcelo before crossing left footed. Neto dives down and slaps it away, unconvincingly.
  • 61'
Fathi almost finds the top corner with a great strike. The right-back marched all the way to the penalty area, playing a one-two with Aboutrika, but Fathi's first time effort goes just wide.
  • 60'
    Yellow Card Hulk
  • 60'
Hulk booked, perhaps unfairly. The attacker thought he was fouled, then proceeded to win the ball back and does so, but not according to the referee. Hulk reacted angrily and is booked.
  • 57'
Rafael cuts the ball into the centre and it finds its way over to Neymar who in turn finds Hulk to his left. The Porto forward gets into the area, but Fathi pulls off an excellent tackle and the ball is cleared.
  • 56'
Golden opening for Egypt. Marcelo attempts to head a long ball back to Neto, but his effort goes straight into the path of Mohsen, but trying to get the ball back on to his left foot allows defenders to get back and block the shot.
  • 55'
Good play again by Brazil. Rafael finds himself with acres of space to march into down the right and plays in an excellent cross from the right, but Damiao lets the ball go when he could have headed it.
  • 53'
Neymar almost gets his second goal of the game as Marcelo crosses from the left and the Santos man arrives late, heading goalwards from the edge of the area, but El-Shenawy gets down to his right and palms it away.
  • 52'
    Goal Mohammed Abu Trika
GOAL!!! Egypt have themselves a goal! Ramadan delivers a free-kick from the right right wing, to which Motaeb knocks on to the post, but Aboutrika is on hand to find the net through the body of players.
  • 49'
The referee angers Neymar yet again as the tricky 20-year-old easily beats Fathi, who grabs a chunk of the Brazilian's shirt but nothing is given.
  • 48'
Brazil look like scoring every time they go forward as Oscar tried to thread Neymar through, but the forward is kept away from the ball by Hegazy.
  • 47'
Good spell of possession for Egypt at the start of this second-half, but the long ball played forward is just too long for substitute Mohsen.
  • 46'
    Substitution Marwan Mohsen Mohamed Salah
  • 46'
Here we go, Egypt kick us off for the second half.
  • The teams are back out for the second half, with the Brazilians returning fashionably late.
  • 45'
Halftime in Wales, and Brazil take an emphatic 3-0 lead into the break thanks to goals from Rafael, Leandro Damiao and Neymar.
  • 44'
Aboutrika takes the free-kick, but it goes comfortably wide despite being well struck. Disappointing.
  • 43'
Egypt win a free-kick in a dangerous position as Aboutrike passes into Motaeb's feet, but Thiago Silva bundles the forward onto the floor.
  • 42'
Another good delivery into the box, this time from deep by Romulo, but it is an inch-or-so too high for Hulk.
  • 40'
Great chance for Brazil to get a fourth. Hulk takes a fairly quick free-kick from the left and Damiao got a touch on it, but El-Shenawy gets in the way of it and the ball is cleared.
  • 38'
Nearly a decent opening for Egypt as Fathi and El-Nenny combine down the right, with El-Nenny squaring to his team-mate into the area, but the pass had a little too much on it and Juan boots the ball clear.
  • 37'
Neymar not happy yet again, this time as he is held off by Fathi when attempting to spin on to a pass. As before, the referee waves play on.
  • 35'
Brazil completely and unequivically in control now. Egypt look dejected and a comeback looks about as likely as me visiting the sun.
  • 33'
    Yellow Card Saleh Gomaa
  • 33'
We have our first yellow card of the match for Saleh Gomaa, but he arguably should have been sent off. Romulo played the ball between the Egyptian's legs, but the 18-year-old came flying in, two-footed and caught the Spartak Moscow midfielder. Thankfully he isn't badly hurt. Shocking tackle.
  • 30'
    Assist Hulk
  • 30'
    Goal Neymar
GOAL!! A third for Brazil, and this is looking worse and worse by the minute for Egypt. Neymar excellently drifted into the centre, tricking his way past one defender before sliding Hulk in down the left. The Porto man returned the favour by putting a lovely cross into the young forward, who headed in from a couple of yards out.
  • 28'
That goal may have knocked the stuffing out of Egypt. They have been good until now, but Brazil have been clinical in front of goal.
  • 26'
    Assist Oscar
  • 26'
    Goal Leandro Damião
GOAL!! Brazil have doubled their lead here with Leandro Damiao getting his name on the scoresheet. A longball is flicked on to Oscar by the Internacional forward and El-Din Ahmed fails to clear, with the Chelsea man nipping in front of the goalkeeper to cut back for Damiao who smashes in.
  • 23'
Neymar wins a free-kick on the left-wing after some over-affectionate defending by Gomaa and he instantly releases Hulk down the flank, but Hegazy deals with it brilliantly, dispossessing the forward.
  • 22'
Egypt looking to catch Brazil on the break after a move initiated by Neymar and Marcelo fell apart, but Menezes' men defend well enough.
  • 20'
Brazil may find themselves in the lead, but they have hardly dominated these early proceedings, with Egypt showing some quality of their own. Aboutrika has been quiet until now, but is slowly waking up.
  • 18'
Egypt straight back on the attack and win a free-kick as Aboutrika is fouled by Sandro. The captain took the set-piece, playing it short before receiving it back and Motaeb tried a shot over his head following a pass from the skipper, but Neto collects with ease.
  • 16'
    Assist Oscar
  • 16'
    Goal Rafael
GOAL!!! Brazil take the lead! New Chelsea man Oscar cut inside from the right, flicking a pass into the area for Rafael who controlled and fired the ball into the bottom far corner with his left foot.
  • 14'
Aboutrika getting himself on the ball a little more now after a quiet start by the Egyptian captain. He almost played Mohsen in with an excellent pass down the centre but just a little too much on it.
  • 12'
Very risky goalkeeping by Neto their. Juan played back a leisurely pass to the custodian, but a poor first-touch coupled with less time than he expected gifting Motaeb the chance to close down the coming clearance, getting a leg on it and putting it behind.
  • 10'
Neymar annoyed there as he is out-muscled by Hegazy while on the counter-attack, but the referee isn't interested and waves play on.
  • 9'
Fantastic first chance of the match for Neymar, but he can't find the net. Hulk brilliantly turned his marker before cutting a pass back to the edge of the area, but the Santos star misses the bottom corner by a couple of inches.
  • 8'
Egypt showing they are no mugs here, having a lot of possession of their own, while Neymar is dumped on the floor much to the amusement of the fans.
  • 7'
Marcelo goes down easily in the Egypt penalty area after being released by Neymar, but the referee tells him to get up.
  • 6'
Yet another Egypt corner as Leandro Damiao is forced to head Gomaa's cross out. The Internacional striker looked angry afterwards, exchanging words with Neymar.
  • 5'
Egypt win themselves another corner as Motaeb's shot it put behind by Thiago Silva.
  • 4'
Brazil slowing the possession down here after some positive attacking play by Egypt. Manchester United's Rafael seeing plenty of the ball so far.
  • 3'
Great chance for Egypt! El-Din played a nice cut-back cross into the area for El-Nenny, who took a touch and then half-volleyed on goal from a narrow angle, forcing Neto to palm it behind.
  • 2'
Barely more than a minute in and Brazil have already got their first shot in. Marcelo played the ball into Neymar, but the forward's touch was heavy and was unable to make anything of it, however the full-back followed up his pass and shot wide of the mark.
  • 1'
We're underway in Cardiff as Brazil kick us off, kicking from left to right.
  • I should add, that the Millenium Stadium (capacity 74,500) doesn't look anywhere close to even being half full. The fans are making quite a noise though, with vuvuzelas blaring out from the stands.
  • At the Millenium Stadium in Cardiff the national anthems are currently being sang. Kick-off in five minutes.
  • Brazil have made just the one change from the team that beat Great Britain so easily last week, with first choice goalkeeper Rafael Cabral being ruled out of the tournament with a bruised arm, meaning Fiorentina's Neto takes his place between the posts.
  • And Mano Menezes' Brazil start like this: Neto; Rafael, Thiago Silva, Juan, Marcelo; Sandro, Romulo, Oscar; Hulk, Neymar, Leandro Damião
  • The Egypt team is: El-Shenawy; Ramadan, Hegazy, Alaa, Fathi; Hassan, El-Nenny, Gomaa; Aboutrika; Mohsen, Moteab
  • I am Ryan Benson and I will describing the action to you tonight and the official line-ups are coming right up.
