• Brøndby Stadion, Brøndby
Referee: K. Hansen
C. Nørgaard 23'
F. Hasani 90'+
K. Peterson 48'
Thank you for joining me, Tom Davis, as it finishes Brondby 2-1 Liverpool.
Brondby, in truth, deserved it. With two second-half free-kicks smashed off the bar, it didn't look like they would break through for that elusive second goal. But Hasani's last-minute winner was deserved given their domination of chances in the second-half.
Norgaard gave the hosts the lead in the first half before slipping to an equaliser from Peterson - worked superbly from Ibe. He was Liverpool's bright spark in this second half and looks a talent. But that didn't stop Brondby from stealing a late winner through Hasani.
Not a bad game to wrap-up your pre-season to for Brondby. Not only did their fans welcome the return Daniel Agger, but, as they celebrate their 50th anniversary as a club this year, they've also seen a hearty performance against Liverpool today.
Ward could do little about that last-minute winner from Hasani. Not only was his run brilliant, but so was his finish, lifted into the top left corner of the net leaving a stationary Ward on the floor.

FULL TIME: And that's the final whistle! It finishes Brondby 2-1 Liverpool.
90' + 2'
We've been treated to two goals from the home side here and this one from Hasani was special. He picked up the ball from the edge of the the box and dribbled his way into the penalty area, past the Liverpool defence, and dispatched it for the winner. Terrific individual play from the substitute.

Goal Ferhan Hasani
GOAL! Brondy have won it at the end as Hasani scores to make it 2-1!
Three minutes of added time have been given from the officials.
But it's Liverpool who are ending this game in possession now. Some smart footwork from Ibe and Peterson in the final third but it fizzles out for a goal-kick.
A ball over the top from Brondby's midfield is called offside as they look to create one final chance.
Nearing the end now and it's been an interesting contest. Brondby have pushed Liverpool hard in the second half and could have found themselves ahead on numerous occasions. But Rodgers can take heart from some of the displays of his younger players - Ibe in particular.
A change for Liverpool now as Ward joins the fray, in place of Jones in goal.
OFF THE BAR! Another one against the woodwork! It's Brondby again who have the chance, and it's another free-kick. This time, it's Hasani, who curled his right-footed shot against the bar.
CHANCE! Superb chance for that man again, Ibe. He found himself with acres of space on the ball as he beared down on goal, but his effort on goal was tame and easy for Hradecky to save.
Skrtel with an important interception with his head as Almeback looks to make an instant impact. He picked the ball up down the right and pulled across a teasing ball into the box but Skrtel headed it over the bar.
Patrick Da Silva
Another three changes for Frank's side with Almeback, Da Silva and Phiri on for Holst, Durmsi and Norgaard.
Brondby, in general, will be more than happy with their display so far. In their final pre-season game before visiting Midtjylland on Sunday, they've demonstrated some decent defensive play in the first-half as well as creating chances of their own in the second.
And on he comes in place of Symanowski who's looked bright in spells during this game.
Hasani is on the touchline ready to make an appearance for Brondby.
Ibe again starting a move down the left and another fine chance for Liverpool. He slipped through Flanagan on the overlap, who found Allen in the box. He couldn't quite get enough power in the shot and it was easy for the keeper to save.
OFF THE BAR! Fine effort from Durmisi from a free-kick. Hit sweetly, but his effort from distance crashed off the bar. A couple of chances followed in the aftermath, including a header for Makienok.
Good save from Hradecky low down to his left. Ibe with another terrific run, cutting inside from the left and firing a shot on goal.
And it is those two who have come on for the home side. Albrechtsen and Elmander are withdrawn.
Another substitute to be made by Frank. Nunez and Thygesen look like the players coming on.
Durmisi is down on the floor after a challenge in the back of his leg, but seems able to carry on playing.
Not a bad effort from Kahlenberg from a free-kick for Brondby. He curled it low around the wall from far out, only to see it drop wide of the post. Jones would have had it covered, regardless.
Peterson breaks through from the half-way line but is unlucky to see a foul go against him after challenging for the ball with Dumic. Showed strength, but not much in it.
Goal Kristoffer Peterson
GOAL! Liverpool are back level!
Ibe and Peterson have already made an impact, but they were joined by Flanagan, Wisdom, Coady, Jones, Skrtel, Phillips and Adorjan as half-time substitutes.
Ibe with a terrific run down the left-hand side, cutting a ball across the box from the byline, as Peterson taps home. Super run from the substitute!
Fredrik Semb Berge
And we're underway for the second half!
Both sets of players are back on the pitch as we get ready for the second half. A number of substitutes here as well to tell you about.
But Brondby have held their own in this game and, despite the fewer chances, find themselves ahead. A superb strike from Norgaard is as good as any but he was gifted the opportunity by Suso after his scuffed clearance fell into his path. Defensively, Brondby have looked solid. A number of committed challenges and some quick reflexes from Hradecky have kept Liverpool at bay.
Not the best half Agger would have hoped for on his return but, then again, not the worst either. Liverpool have shown promise on the attack and on another day might have a goal or two to show for their efforts. Wide-play has been effective for them but, equally, a couple of runs through the middle from Coutinho - and that final effort from Lucas right before the whistle - have come close.
HALF-TIME: And that's the whistle for half-time as Brondby lead Liverpool by one goal to nil.
Chance right on half-time for Liverpool again and it was Lucas who led the attack. He drove through on goal and was able to get a short on goal. It was saved, parried away from Borini and cleared.
Could have been a perfect chance for Liverpool to level, minutes before half-time, but a deep free-kick from Coutinho is hit straight into the hands of Hradecky.
Liverpool are enjoying attacks down the left-hand side but have yet to carve out a real chance. Smith again gets forward into the box but sees his shot blocked well.
Szymanowski hits a decent first-time cross low into the box but it falls straight to Agger who clears. Liverpool, bar the goal, have looked steady in defence.
A rash tackle from Stewart on Elmander draws a free-kick near the half-way line. Might have been a yellow card in a competitive fixture but he gets away with it.
Not a bad ball forward from the Liverpool midfield but it's hit just a little too long for Borini, instead running through to the keeper.
Brondby are defending well thus far, with numerous blocks in that last Liverpool attack. Coutinho and Suso have been brightest for The Reds - despite the latter making a mistake for the opening goal.
Another bright run forward from Coutinho to start a Liverpool counter attack. Brondby pulled men back but it was a smart double-save from Hradecky in goal who denied Smith a quick equaliser.
Fabulous goal from Norgaard who curls a right-footed shot past Jones and into the bottom left corner of the goal. A poor clearance from Suso gave him the opportunity. It was presented to him on a plate on the edge of the box, but that is a terrific take.
Goal C. Nørgaard
GOAL! Brondby have taken the lead after a fine strike from Norgaard! 1-0 to the hosts.
And that's Illori's day over. Stewart comes on in place.
Illori might be in trouble here and has just walked off the pitch and through the tunnel. He was seen holding his left thigh.
The Reds have started to find their groove in the last five minutes and are looking positive in possession. Teixeira has another effort on goal but it's an easy save down low to Hradecky's right.
Another long-range effort from Liverpool as Coutinho tries his luck from afar. He hit it with power, but just couldn't find the direction as it sails wide of the goal.
Suso forces a corner with a smart run and shot after cutting inside. Nothing comes to it, but he did well in the build-up. He has a chance to impress here today after his loan with Almeria last season.
Opening for Teixeira on the edge of the box after a run and pass from Coutinho, but he can't get the pass under control.
Liverpool are happy to allow Brondby possession here and they've duly enjoyed the opening spells. Elmander had a chance to capitalize on a cross into the box but can't get the ball from out of his feet as Liverpool clear their lines.
Another chance from a set-piece for Brondby but their corner delivery is placed just too high for those in the box to reach.
Half-chance from a free-kick there for Brondby who found themselves in a good position midway into Liverpool's half. An in-swinging ball was hit towards the near post and Makienok was just inches away from connecting.
Lots of red shirts in the crowd here - such is the strength of Liverpool's support in Scandinavia.
Decent move from Liverpool as Coutinho brings the ball forward and slips it through to Borini. But he fails to control it as it slips through to the keeper. Could have been a great start there after a solid spell of possession.
And we're off! Liverpool get us going, attacking from left to right.
The players are out on the pitch which means we're moments away from kick-off. It's looking like a fine day for it. The 29,000 capacity Brondby Stadion is in full voice as they present Daniel Agger a bouquet of flowers on his return.
The big news – and the only news that matters from the Liverpool camp, as far as the Danish fans are concerned – is that Daniel Agger starts (and captains) on his return to the club. Agger graduated from the youth academy before moving onto Anfield just over eight years ago. He partners Tiago Ilori in defence while regulars Philippe Coutinho and Lucas Leiva hold the midfield.
A notable name for Premier League fans in Brondby’s line-up there as Johan Elmander continues his pre-season preparations for his new club. He has already scored against English opposition this summer, grabbing the opening goal in a 1-1 draw with Bolton Wanderers last week. He starts behind lone striker, Simon Makienok, as manager Thomas Frank field a 4-2-3-1 formation.
Liverpool XI: Jones, Kelly, Ilori, Agger, Smith, Lucas, Rossiter, Coutinho, Suso, Borini, Teixeira. Substitutes: Ward, Allen, Ibe, Coady, Skrtel, Flanagan, Adorjan, Phillips, Wisdom, Lloyd Jones, Peterson, Stewart.
And now for Liverpool.
Brondby XI: Hradecky, Semb, Albrechtsen, Omskov, Kahlenberg, Szymanowski, Makienok, Elmander, Holst, Durmisi, Norgaard. Substitutes: Falkesgaard, Almeback, Nunez, Thygesen, Phiri, Dumic, Hasani, Da Silva, Crone.
Team news is in and it's there where we'll start. First up, the hosts.
Good afternoon and welcome to live commentary of Brondby against Liverpool. I’m Tom Davis, and I’ll be guiding you through the action.
