F. Ben Khalfallah
The 30-year-old journeyman pulled the strings in the first half. May have been wasteful at times, but was always trying to create and was rewarded for his efforts when teeing up Diabate to head home.
A lively display from the Senegalese player, who should have put his side a goal to good after just two minutes, but somehow saw his point-blank effort saved by Elliot.

Out of position for Bordeaux's opener and looked nervy in his passing.
Looked isolated in attack and couldn't link up well enough with Newcastle's midfield. Subbed after 81 minutes.
Had little influence on the game and was woefully inaccurate with his distribution.
