• Allianz-Arena, München
Referee: M. Fritz
• Attendance: 71000
A. Robben 25'
Javi Martínez 29'
T. Gebre Selassie 49' (own goal)
M. Gómez 51', 89'
F. Ribéry 86'
K. De Bruyne 58'
And that's that. No need for stoppage time, everyone's had enough here. All too easy for Bayern, who have to be the very best you'll see anywhere in the world right now. Until next time, folks.
Assist Arjen Robben
Goal M. Gómez
GOAL! Mario Gomez gets his second of the afternoon. Robeen comes forward and chips on over the top for the big striker who controls and fires past Mielitz and into the far corner from just inside the box. 6-1!
Robben runs clean through on goal, but takes too long and ends up crowded out after trying to skip around Mielitz. Ribery takes over, attempting to chip the keeper from a tight angle, but it's too close to Mielitz.
Assist Philipp Lahm
Goal Franck Ribéry
Or perhaps not. GOAL! Ribery with a lovely controlled volley from the left-hand side of the box, sending the ball into the far corner, after a clipped ball over the defence from Lahm.
Well, statistically speaking, Werder have actually done better with ten men.
Bayern just eased off the gas now. They've been in cruise control since Gomez' goal.
Bayern have had 72% possession this afternoon. Been a walk in the park, really.
Boateng makes surge forward and wins a corner. Werder look tired now, they just can't keep the ball.
This will be 12 wins in 12 games in 2013 for Bayern. They have to be the best around at the moment?
Been something of a baptism of fire for poor Pavlovic today, who concedes a free kick wide right after falling on top of Ribery and the Frenchman was dashing into the box. Robben I think attempted to shoot for the top corner from a very tight angle, but it's wide.
Former Werder man Claudio Pizarro replaces Shaqiri.
Well it's been fairly routine for Bayern this afternoon, just what Jupp Heynckes would have wanted on the occasion of his 1000th Bundesliga game as a coach. What a guy. Shame he's off at the end of the season. Isn't it?
Yellow Card Mateo Pavlovic
Robben fouled by De Bruyne on the right. He takes the free kick himself and tolls across the edge of the box for Tymoshchuk to strike, but it's easily stopped by Mielitz.
Four different scorers for Bayern today. Seems a good time to mention that four Bayern players (Mario Mandzukic, Thomas Muller, Toni Kroos and Bastian Schweinsteiger) have scored at least five goals in the league so far this season.
Assist Aleksandar Ignjovski
Goal Kevin De Bruyne
GOAL. Kevin De Bruyne pulls one back. The on-loan Chelsea man was left completely free at the back post to place his shot past Neuer from 8 yards.
Ignjovski cuts inside from the right and sends a grass cutter right into the arms of Neuer.
Ribery floats a corner to the edge of the box for Robben to volley, but it flashes wide. Shades of that famous goal at Old Trafford there.
And that's the end of Javi Martinez's afternoon. Game over, and he'll take a breather.
Assist Franck Ribéry
Goal M. Gómez
TOR! 4-0. Werder have falent to pieces. Shaqiri plays a lovely lofted ball over the defence. Ribery slips it up and over Mielitz for Gomez to head home from a couple of yards.
Own Goal Theodor Gebre Selassie
GOAL! Gomez latches onto a long throw from Lahm, his low cross evades Mielitz and Gebre Selassie gets his clearance all wrong as the ball hits his standing foot and rolls over the line. Own goal.
Very difficult to see a way back into this game for the visitors now. Damage control.
Substitution for Werder: Mateo Pavlovic comes on to make his debut, replacing Aaron Hunt, who suffered an illness this week.
And we're off, again.
Shaqiri takes the free kick right on the edge of the box and dead centre, but he while he got it up and over the wall, he can't get it down quick enough and it's over the bar. And that's half time.
Red Card Sebastian Prödl
Fabulous ball from Martinez to send Gomez in on goal. Prodl slides in, but gets nowhere near the ball. Gomez goes down, and Prodl is sent off.
Robben shows some neat footwork on the edge of the box before Gomez, but once again the big man's touch just lets him down as the Werder defenders swarm.
Robben flagged offside just as he set off on goal. The Dutchman has gotten much more involved since his goal.
Shaqiri beats four Werder players as he dribbles almost the length of the pitch. Didn't come to anything, but that boy loves a dribble.
Thankfully for Werder, the game has settled since those disastrous few minutes for the visitors.
And from the resulting corner, Gebre Selassie finds himself a complete free header but can only send the ball harmlessly wide. Werder won't get too many chances of that quality this afternoon.
Arnautovic just beginning to get on the ball a little more now. He combines with De Bruyne before Hunt's effort from range is deflected behind.
Lovely long pass from Dante to find Robben, who takes it down instantly on his chest. But fair to say his second touch wasn't quite as good and it goes behind for a goal kick.
Speaking of which, that wasn't great defending from Bayern either there, as they struggle to clear a corner but, thankfully for them, Arnautovic slices a volley that almost ends further away from goal than it began.
Awful defending from Werder for both goals. They had defended really well for 26 minutes, but are completely unravelling here.
Assist Arjen Robben
Goal Javi Martínez
GOAL! From the resulting free kick, Javi Martinez heads a second from 8 yards and Werder are falling apart here.
Yellow Card Zlatko Junuzovic
Junuzovic goes into the book for a late tackle on Robben just as the Dutchman was off and running in behind Werder.
And it's nearly two. Shaqiri gets in one-on-one with Mielitz but sees his effort blocked before Gebre Selassie clears.
Assist Philipp Lahm
Goal Arjen Robben
GOAL! Bayern lead. Lahm was afforded way too much space by Werder there, and his cross is volleyed home from close range by Robben.
And the first real chance of the game goes begging. Robben and Ribery combine to send in a low cross, Shaqiri dummies and Gomez sees his shot from 6 yards deflected behind for a corner. That was more like it from Bayern.
Ribery does well to evade a few defenders before laying it off to Robben on the right, who cuts inside and fires a shot straight at Mielitz.
Ribery delivers another in-swinging free kick from the left, but again Werder clear.
Werder still pressing very well. They're sitting back and keeping their shape but when one goes, everyone goes - and that, ladies and gentlemen is they key to pressing.
Gomez gets in on the right and does well to hold it up, but gives the ball away when faced with a simple pass. And that's exactly why Mandzukic was brought in this past summer.
Late challenge from Gebre Selassie on Shaqiri gives Bayern a free kick on the left. Ribery curls one in towards Dante, but Petersen heads behind for a corner.
Bremen been organised and strong at the back so far today, crowding out Ribery whenever he looks to be on his way down the left.
Gomez gets in behind Werder for the first time this afternoon, but his first touch was poor and the ball rolls back to Mielitz.
Bayern still in control but yet to carve out an opportunity as yet. Not much going on to be honest, so let's have another stat: Bayern have triumphed in each of their last four Bundesliga matches against Werder Bremen and have not lost to Saturday’s opponents since suffering a 5-2 defeat in September 2008.
Bayern taking control early on, as one would expect. Werder haven't had a kick yet.
Robben is making just his 6th start of the season. Gomez just his 3rd, and he was top scorer last season.
And we're off.
Having said all that, a few of the Bayern boys will be making to make a point of their own as Heynckes rings the changes this afternoon.
However, Bayern Munich have won all six of their matches in 2013, conceding just once and scoring 16 times. They've only conceded more than one goal in a single game on two occasions in the entire season, according to my count.
On-loan Nils Petersen has a point to prove against his parent club today. He says he doesn't want to go back, they may not want him if he helps Dortmund cut down Bayern's lead at the top this afternoon.
Werder: Mielitz, Selassie, Prodl, Lukimya, Schmitz, Junuzovic, Ignjovski, Hunt, De Bruyne, Arnautovic, Petersen
Team news is in - a few changes today for Bayern: Neuer, Lahm, Boateng, Dante, Contento, Martinez, Gustavo, Robben, Shaqiri, Ribery, Gomez.
