Soldado 45'+, 55', 69'
That's all from me for tonight guys, thanks for joining me! Good night!
FULL-TIME: BATE 0-3 VALENCIA Roberto Soldado's deadly finishing proved the difference here in Minsk as Valencia bossed their opponents despite being away from home. Soldado's fine hat-trick was the highlight of the match, with BATE rarely threatening in the second half, after Soldado scored his first from the spot seconds before the break. Valencia have now recorded back-to-back wins following their victory over Lille on matchday two, which takes them to top of Group F.
90' + 2'
And there is the final whistle! Craig Thomson blows to mark the end of the game, with Valencia cruising to a 3-0 win.
90' + 1'
The fourth official signals for two minutes of added time here in Minsk.
A strong run from Aly Cissokho down the left results in the left-back chipping an inviting ball towards Jonas at the back post but the cross is just too high for the Brazilian attacker as he looks to divert it towards goal.
Valencia have given the ball away on a couple of occasions in the last few minutes but have shown the tenacity to immediately win it back, as they look set to hold on to their three-goal lead and seal a valuable three points away from home.
A misplaced pass from Valencia's Jonas allows BATE to break quickly but the final ball from Dmitri Mozolevski is wayward and goes straight into the path of Ever Banega.
Ricardo Costa reads the play brilliantly at the back for Valencia to nick the ball off the hapless Vitali Rodionov and advance from defence with the ball before sweeping it out to Andres Guardado on the left-hand side.
The BATE substitue Renan Bressan shoots wildly over 10 yards out for the home side after a decent move on the right involving Denis Polyakov.
Valencia see no point in risking aggravating Sofiane Feghouli's injury, and he walks straight off the pitch to receive further treatment.
A great challenge from Maksim Bordachev dispossesses Sofiane Feghouli on the left, but the Valencia man seems in a spot of bother and is slow to get to his feet following the challenge.
Elsewhere in Group F, Bayern Munich currently lead Lille 1-0 in France.
BATE work the ball well down the right, but the move is stopped in its tracks by a sliding tackle from Aly Cissokho on Aliaksandr Hleb.
The visitors have also shown they are no longer as shot-shy as they were in their opening two Group F games. They hit five shots on target over the course of those 180 minutes, but have got nine on target tonight alone!
Perhaps their last-gasp win against Athletic Bilbao will prove the turning point for Valencia's season. Los Che are enduring their worst start to a Liga campaign since 1999/2000, but, wait for it. In the 1999/2000 season they reached the UEFA Champions League final before losing to Real Madrid CF. An omen perhaps?
Mauricio Pellegrino's side may be three goals to the good but they are still hungry for the ball and are chasing BATE's players whenever they are in possession. It has been an extremely professional performance from the Spanish side.
David Albelda has done enough running in midfield for the visitors tonight, and he is being replaced by Ever Banega, he of breaking-his-leg-after-leaving-his-handbrake-off-at-a-petrol-station fame.
Valencia have been clinical in front of goal tonight, while BATE on the other hand, have not. If Vitali Rodionov had taken his chances like Roberto Soldado has this evening then the scoreline could be much closer.
That's Roberto Soldado's second ever Champions League hat-trick!
Assist Tino Costa
Goal Roberto Soldado
THERE'S SOLDADO'S HAT-TRICK!! Somehow two Valencia players have outfoxed four BATE defenders! Roberto Soldado sweeps the ball past Andrei Gorbunov after some fine link-up play with Tino Costa on the edge of the penalty area. Valencia are cruising here in Minsk, 3-0 the score now.
BATE are looking to force the issue here as they try to turn this match around, and have made another change, replacing a midfielder with a striker as Alexander Pavlov makes way for Dmitri Mozolevski.
SOLDADO HAS HIS HAT-T....... Oh no, the pesky linesman on the far side has his flag up, and he's got that right in all fairness. Andres Guardado's strike from 25 yards was spilled by Andre Gorbunov straight into the path of Roberto Soldado who gleefully slammed the ball home only for the strike to be disallowed by the referee for offside.
As BATE commit men forward they are leaving gaps and having already shown their counter attacking capabilities once tonight, Valencia are only too happy to exploit those spaces.
Roberto Soldado hits an ambitious strike at goal from distance but Andrei Gorbunov is a match to it and comfortably gathers the ball. The Valencia striker looks like he might just want a hat-trick tonight having bagged two already for his side.
I had completely forgotten Aliaksandr Hleb was playing for BATE, he has barely had a kick tonight. The midfielder looked such a talent during his time at Arsenal, he's fallen some way since then.
Yellow Card Albelda
It's been a very confident performance from the away side in the opening hour here, they have waited for their opportunities and then made the most of them when they have arrived. And here they are, leading 2-0.
Yellow Card Alexander Pavlov
Pavlov goes into Craig Thomson's book for a late challenge, and that means the BATE midfielder will be suspended for his side's next match in Group F.
Soldado's second goal was all the more impressive considering BATE had been testing Diego Alves about ten seconds before he hit the back of the net! It was a lightning-quick counter attack from the visitors.
Valencia nearly score a third!! Guardado pokes a shot at goal that falls to the feet of Soldado, but his effort is blocked on the line by Aleksandr Volodko. That was almost 3-0!
Assist A. Guardado
Goal Roberto Soldado
SOLDADO SCORES AGAIN!!! Valencia break on the counter attack superbly to make it 2-0. Soldado volleys the ball past Andrei Gorbunov brilliantly after being found inside the box with a deep cross from the left by Andres Guardado.
It's been a fairly timid start to the second half by both sides here at the Stadyen Dynama, with neither team fashioning a shot at goal since the break.
BATE make the first change of the evening, taking off their captain Dmitri Likhtarovich and replacing him with Mikhail Sivakov.
That fairly theatrical stuff I mentioned a few minutes before half-time? It's back... Fernando Gago crumples to the deck despite leading with his elbow in a challenge with Vitali Rodionov. The Argentine's reaction means that Valencia somehow get the free-kick!
A foul from Ricardo Costa results in a free-kick for BATE on the halfway line, and gives the home side a chance to attack the Valencia box as they go in search of an equaliser.
Off goes Egor Filipenko! The BATE defender looks slightly uncertain as he marauds forward from centre-back with the ball at his feet but he makes some ground for his team before teeing the ball off to Vitali Rodionov.
Aly Cissokho goes racing down the left wing for Valencia but his eventual hooked cross is dealt with by the BATE defence and hoofed away upfield.
Aleksandr Volodko is forced into helping out at the back as he muscles Sofiane Feghouli off the ball as the Valencia attacker looks to race into the BATE penalty area. Good old-fashioned defending there.
Craig Thomson blows his whistle to get the second half underway here in Minsk, with BATE giving the ball away within seconds of the kick-off.
The visitors have looked the stronger team in the first half, and the possession stats support that, with Mauricio Pelegrino's side enjoying 57.8 per cent of possession, an impressive figure considering they are playing away from home.
HALF-TIME: BATE 0-1 VALENCIA Roberto Soldado's penalty in added time at the end of the first half has given Mauricio Pellegrino's side the lead at the break. Both sides have created chances in the first 45 minutes, with Vitali Rodionov wasting the home side's best chances and Soldado testing Andrei Gorbunov in the BATE goal early on.
45' + 2'
And that's it for the first half! Valencia take a late lead courtesy of Roberto Soldado, and the referee blows for half-time just seconds later.
45' + 1'
Penalty Goal Roberto Soldado
SOLDADO SCORES THE SPOT-KICK!! The Spain international gives his side the lead from 12 yards, calmly slotting the ball past Andrei Gorbunov.
45' + 1'
Yellow Card Marko Simic
PENALTY TO VALENCIA!! Marko Simic pulls Roberto Soldado to the floor inside the box, and the Scottish referee Craig Thomson rightly awards a penalty to the visitors.
There's been some suspect *fouls* in this opening half. Valencia's players in particular are showing a tendency to hurl themselves to the floor under minimal contact from the opposition.
Aleksandr Volodko drives forward from central midfield before shifting the ball out to Vitali Rodionov on the right. The striker cannot control the bobbling pass though, and although the ball finds its way back to Volodko and he is able to get a shot on goal, it is tame and straight into the arms of Diego Alves.
BATE have grown in confidence in the last 10-15 minutes, and have now created more attacking chances than their opponents, something that seemed unlikely after Valencia dominated the first 25 minutes or so.
Yellow Card Roberto Soldado
Aly Cissokho plays his way out of trouble well on the left after being stitched up by Ricardo Costa, the centre-back passing the ball out to Cissokho on the left despite the full-back being surrounded by BATE players.
OPTIMISTIC FROM RODIONOV! The BATE striker is causing a few problems as the lone frontman for the home side, although his involvement on this occasion fails to come close to troubling Diego Alves as he shanks a shot high and wide of the Valencia goal.
Some resiilient defending from the home side ensures Valencia don't test Andrei Gorbunov from the corner, clearing the ball away three of four times as the visitors try and pump the ball back into the BATE penalty area.
Valencia have another corner on the right, that Tino Costa saunters across to take.
CHANCE FOR RODIONOV!! The BATE forward gets ahead of Aly Cissokho to nod Maksim Bordachev's enticing cross towards goal but his header is straight at Diego Alves. That has got to be considered a chance wasted by the striker.
Valencia have another free-kick on the left, this time after Tino Costa is sent crashing to the deck by Edgar Olekhnovich. The Valencia midfielder wasn't really going anywhere there, that was a strange foul to give away.
After a brief spell of BATE possession and a couple of chances for the Belarussian side, Valencia have control of the ball once more but are failing to work the ball into dangerous areas as BATE set up their defensive line well.
The ball falls to Dmitri Likhtarovich, and he tries to unleash a shot at goal immediately but as he rushes to shoot he makes a poor connection with the ball, and Diego Alves is able to punch the ball upfield.
POOR DEFENDING FROM PEREIRA!! Diego Alves saves Joao Pereira's blushes after the full-back allows Alexander Pavlov to cut inside on the left and hammer a cross-shot into the six-yard box. Alves does well to push the ball away to safety with Vitali Rodionov lurking.
Sofiane Feghouli chases a loose ball into the BATE box but the slippery nature of the surface at the Stadyen Dynama allows Andrei Gorbunov to come out and pick the ball up ahead of the Valencia man.
Valencia win the first corner of the evening after some decent work from Sofiane Feghouli. Tino Costa works it short to Fernando Gago, but it is a poor routine and BATE are able to clear the ball away to safety.
Mauricio Pellegrino is urging his side forward from the sideline as they continue to dominate possession in this first half. BATE look there for the taking at the moment... No pun intended.
Sofiane Feghouli runs straight into trouble in the form of BATE's imposing centre-back Egor FIlipenko, and that puts an end to Valencia's attacking intentions for the time being!
Andrei Gorbunov has made a fairly impressive start to this match, and to any fans of Belarussian football that will come as no surprise, the goalkeeper has kept 17 clean sheets in 31 games this season.
Tino Costa makes a complete mess of the set piece though, firing it straight into the waiting arms of Gorbunov in the BATE goal.
The visitors win a free-kick on the right after Marko Simic bodychecks Sofiane Feghouli as the Valencia midfielder looks to push down the right-hand side.
Valencia continue to look the more threatening of the two sides here in Minsk, but the score remains 0-0.
Bordachev bursts down the left for the home side but the move breaks down after Rodionov catches Joao Pereira with a kick to the crown jewels after the Valencia full-back had fallen to the turf.
Some fine tracking from Guardado stops Polyakov from breaking forward from right-back for BATE, the Valencia man charging back into his own half to track the defender and dispossess him and win a throw-in for his side.
Keep an eye on Pavlov for BATE this evening, the attacking midfielder is just one yellow card away from a suspension in the competition.
Rodionov clatters through the back of Gago inside the Valencia half and Pellegrino's side have a free-kick near the halfway line.
CHANCE FOR GUARDADO!! Soldado drives into the BATE box from the left, with some neat footwork allowing him to drift away from the tackle of FIlipenko and slip the ball to Guardado. The attacker wastes the opportunity though, slightly losing his footing as he dispatches a shot straight at Gorbunov.
Soldado is looking lively early on for the visitors, the striker looking fairly menacing despite wearing gloves tonight.
Rodionov actually fouled Costa as he was tackled there, allowing Valencia to immediately slow the tempo down receiving the ball from Diego Alves at the back.
SMART DEFENDING FROM RICARDO COSTA!! The Valencia centre-back is at full stretch to poke the ball behind for a corner after Rodionov had raced through on goal and was just pulling back his left leg to shoot. Timely stuff from Costa!
It's quite surprising to see Valencia having already registered a shot on goal in this match, as the Spanish side have one of the lowest tally of attempts on goal in this season's Champions League. Just five have been mustered, though three of those strikes have found the back of the net.
Alexander Hleb looks to plough his way through a couple of Valencia defenders on the left for the home side but his way is blocked by Aly Cissokho, and Valencia have the ball once more.
BATE are interesting case in this year's competition, having upset the applecart somewhat to win their first two Group F fixtures against Bayern Munich and Lille, having never previously won any of their 12 group stage matches before this campaign.
Valencia's veteran midfielder David Albelda is making his presence felt in the centre of the pitch already in this match, flying into a couple of challenges and successfully winning the ball for his team.
GOOD SAVE FROM GORBUNOV!! Roberto Soldado forces the BATE goalkeeper into making a neat save at his near post after firing a firm effort at goal from the right-hand side of the penalty area.
Tino Costa steals the ball from Bordachev on the right for Valencia but his pass forward is far from accurate and lands right at the feet of Simic at centre-back for BATE.
The home crowd don't appear too happy with their side's decision to sit back in the opening minutes, and are quickly roaring their helpful encouragement from the stands.
BATE nick the ball on the left and win a throw in an attacking position, but a poor pass from Olekhnovich gifts Valencia possession inside their own half.
Valencia get the ball rolling here in Minsk, and immediately work the ball back to Diego Alves in goal and start moving the ball forward from the bad.
Here come the teams, and there's that timeless classic echoing around the Stadyen Dynama. Impossible not to get chills when that music kicks in!
For those wondering why Vicente Guaita isn't starting in goal for Valencia tonight, the first-choice keeper felt sick after the flight to Belarus yesterday, hence his position on the bench this evening.
Not long til kick-off in this one. We've had the line-ups, all we're waiting for now is the inspirational Champions League theme tune, the preliminary handshakes, and then we will be under way.

Both teams come into the match on the back of victories domestically, with Mauricio Pellegrino's Valencia side defeating Athletic Bilbao 3-2, and Viktor Goncharenko's men beating Slavia Mozyr by the same scoreline.
BATE have been one of the surprise packages in this year's competition, having recorded back-to-back 3-1 victories away to Lille and then at home against Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich. Valencia meanwhile have endured a mixed start to their campaign, winning against Lille 2-0, but losing 2-1 to Bayern on matchday one.
