Goal Lionel Messi
GOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAL FOR BARCELONA!! Xavi slides the ball into Messi on the edge of the box and the Argentine gloriously whips the ball into the top left corner!
The game is quite scrappy in the midfield area at the moment. Osasuna are battling well but it may be too little too late in this fixture. They should attempt to play this way for the entire second leg next week.
Barcelona doing their best to run the clock down now. They are passing the ball around at ease in the midfield area. Cesc Fabregas comes off to be replaced by Seydou Keita.
A positive change from Osasuna as Ibrahima Balde replaces Annunziata. Perhaps Jose Luis Mendilibar is looking to snatch an away goal before the end of the 90 minutes.
Osasuna free kick from considerable distance but Nekounam attempts on goal anyway. A decent shot from the Iranian but Pinto saves comfortably.
Lionel Messi has been sensational since his introduction and has showed no signs of any flu illness. Espanyol better watch out as he'll likely start the Barcelona derby on Sunday evening.
What a save from Riesgo!! Excellent Barca play around the box, Messi to Xavi, to Alexis, back to Messi, and the Argentine shoots from short range but the Osasuna goalkeeper instinctively saves with his right hand!
Another Barcelona change as Isaac Cuenca is replaced by Alexis Sanchez. It just does not get easier for Osasuna.
Goal Lionel Messi
GOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAL FOR BARCELONA!!! Messi scores!! Xavi clips a wonderful cross to the back post and the Argentine runs in to bullet a header into the net!! 3-0 Barca!
Messi takes the free kick and Riesgo makes the save! The ball then looked to have creeping in the bottom corner but the Osasuna goalkeeper heroically dives and clears the ball to safety!
Free kick for Barcelona as Dani Alves drives forward at pace and Raitala brings how down with a shove in the back. Messi to take the set-piece.
Substitution from Osasuna as Cejudo is replaced by Roland Lamah. A physical presence now in the final third for Mendilibar's side.
Amazing run from Lionel Messi! Somehow the Argentine squeezes through two challenges and exchanges a one-two with Dani Alves to go through on goal but dinks the ball over Riesgo and misses by inches!!
Very short passes in and around the Osasuna box from Barca at the moment. It is all very intricate but the away side are somehow managing to remain solid for the time being.
Cuenca jinks down the left-hand side and reveres a cross into the centre of the Osasuna box and on the end of it is Carles Puyol who smashes the ball ten yards over the crossbar. A terrible miss.
The encouragement is short lived as Lionel Messi comes on to replace Pedro to a chorus of applause and cheers from the Camp Nou crowd.
Osasuna have moved up the pitch slightly and are pressing Barcelona in their own half. Encouraging play from the away side but the hosts look to be handling the pressure well.
Xavi takes a free kick 10 yards outside the Osasuna box and whips a cross into the centre as Puyol attempts to head at goal. The visitors manage to clear but it goes straight to Xavi again and the hosts continue their period of possession.
Barca with a penalty appeal as Cuenca displays some quick feet on edge of the box to drive inside but his foot is stood on by Damia! That looked a foul but the referee waves play on! Osasuna given a let off there.
The Camp Nou crowd erupts in cheer as Lionel Messi emerges from the bench for a warm up. The Argentine has only made the bench tonight as hes suffering from a bout of the flu. However, he will still be the last thing Osasuna want to see.
The second half continues the formula of the first. Barcelona patiently passing the ball at will around the park and Osasuna are sitting very deeply. No rush for the Catalan's.
The second half is underway at Camp Nou. Barcelona very much in the driving seat and it looks like damage limitations for Osasuna in the next 45 minutes.
Half time in Barcelona. The hosts lead Osasuna 2-0 at the break after two goals from Cesc Fabregas. Join us in 15 minutes for the second half!

Xavi's free kick goes a whisker by the right-hand post and that had Riesgo scrambling there!
Free kick on the edge of the box for Barcelona after Cejudo brought down Dani Alves. A small break in play as the Osasuna man hobbles off the pitch with an injury.
Yellow Card Sergio
Sergio follows suit and makes a similarly late tackle on Mascherano. Osasuna must be careful not to lose their discipline. The score is still only 2-0 but if they lose a man then you fear the worst.
Barcelona continue their passing and Osasuna are showing signs of real frustration here. Lolo went through the back of Mascherano on the half way line off the ball. Nasty challenge from the centre half.
Glorious pass over the top of the Osasuna defence from Xavi to Thiago but the young Spaniard miscontrolled the ball and the hosts are given a let off.
Thiago jinks inside and lays the ball off for Pedro who lashes a decent shot on goal from 25 yards. The ball was struck with power but Riesgo smothered it well
Pedro attempts to latch on to a ball through on goal but Riesgo does excellently to run out of his goal at pace and intercept the pass to safety.
Very patient and measured play from Pep Guardiola's men at the moment. They are not stressing themselves as even at 33 minutes they know they have the game relatively dead and buried.
Yellow Card Cuenca
Lovely interplay between Xavi and Busquets in the middle of the park. A series of one-two passes saw Barcelona move the ball from the right wing to the left effortlessly.
Better play from Lekic to put pressure on Pique at the back but the Barca defender expertly remains calm and keeps possession for his side.
Yellow Card Javad Nekounam
A bit of respite for Osasuna now as Barcelona have toned down the intensity of their play in the final third. Lekic attempts to force the issue but his shot from 25 yards goes embarassingly out for a throw in.
Barca are playing with a real swagger now. They look to be picking Osasuna off at will.
Dani Alves whips a cross into the centre and Puyol chests the ball down expertly but Riesgo does really well to dash from his goal and remain big to block the shot!
Well I said at the start of the commentary that it was unlikely it would be another 8-0 scoreline. The way Barcelona are playing they could easily match that scoreline.
Goal Cesc Fàbregas
GOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAALLL FOR BARCELONA!!! Ohhh my what a goal from Cesc Fabregas!!! Xavi gives the ball to the feet of his teammate inside the box and Cesc gloriously dinks the ball over Riesgo! Incredible.
Yellow Card Cesc Fàbregas
Goal Cesc Fàbregas
An excellent goal all round from Barcelona. Thiago started the attack with a world class cross-field pass to Dani Alves on the right-hand side. Osasuna have a long night ahead judging by Barca's recent domination of the play.
GOOOOOOOOAAAAAAL FOR BARCELONA!!! Dani Alves came inside and slid a pass into the feet of Xavi, who spotted Fabregas in plenty of space inside the Osasuna box. The former Arsenal man coolly slotted home past Riesgo!
To be fair to Osasuna they are attempting to play the ball confidently around the pitch also. Riesgo has started moves from the back on a couple of occasions. An admirable tactic, particularly at Camp Nou.
Barcelona just starting to get a foothold in the game now and are orchestrating neat possession in the middle of the park. No chances for either side yet, however.
Cuenca drives forward as Barcelona commit men into the Osasuna half but the winger is well marshaled by Damia and the visitors win back possession.
A decent first five minutes at Camp Nou. Jose Luis Mendilibar's men have got in about Barcelona so far. Something suggests this will not be another 8-0 drubbing for Osasuna.
Osasuna start the match well and look to be very up for the match. However, Barca have stifled the play of the visitors by patiently passing the ball.
The match has kicked off and Osasuna start the match by piling forward. The away side earn an early free kick and Lekic steps up but no joy for the visitors as the attempt does not trouble Pinto.
Pep Guardiola looks to be fielding a 3-4-3 formation this evening with Dani Alves coming forward on the right-had side. However, knowing Barcelona, this could all change as the match progresses.
This is how Barcelona will be lining up tonight: Pinto; Mascherano, Puyol, Piqué; Alves, Xavi, Busquets, Thiago; Pedro, Cesc, Cuenca.
The last time that Osasuna came to the Camp Nou they were battered 8-0 by Barcelona in the league so Jose Luis Mendilibar's men will be striving to avoid another embarassing result against the Catalan giants.
This is the first XI of Osasuna: Riesgo; Damia, Sergio, Lolo, Raitala; Nekounam, Timor; Torres, Annunziata, Cejudo; Lekic.
