The celebrations commence for Barcelona! I'm Martin Macdonald, thank you for joining us on Goal.com! See you next time!
Full time in Vicente Calderon. The Spanish Primera Division champions run out 2-1 winners over Atletico thanks to a scrappy goal from Alexis Sanchez and an own goal from Gabi. Radamel Falcao had gave Los Colchoneros the lead early in the second period but the Catalan side showed resilience to come back.
90' + 2'
The corner comes in and Barca manage to clear! The Atletico goal is free but Alexis Sanchez's touch puts the ball out of play! That may be it for the hosts!
90' + 1'
Corner to Atletico as Juanfran's cross bounces off Alba. Courtois is coming up for the set-piece! This may be their last chance!
Yellow Card Emiliano Insúa
If Barca do see out the win tonight they are still on course to match Real Madrid's 100-point haul for last season. Surely that would be a lovely cherry on top of a superb domestic season?
Cristian Rodriguez is going to need a ticket to get back in to the Vicente Calderon. The Uruguayan went flying into the advertising boards behind the goal, and took out a photographer in the process. Not even an apology as well, out of order that!
'CAMPEONES! CAMPEONES!' is the cry coming out of the away end in the Vicente Calderon now. They were already champions coming in to tonight thanks to Real Madrid's draw last night, but it looks like they would have been crowned anyway with a win tonight.
Interestingly, Barcelona scored both their goals after Messi had gone off and they were down to 10 men. Maybe they don't need him after all!
That's really harsh on Atletico Madrid! They probably don't deserve to be behind at all, never mind through a goal like that! They need to pick themselves up though, still time for an equaliser.
Own Goal Gabi
GOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAL FOR BARCELONA!!! HOW HAS THAT GONE IN?! Tello bursts to the byline and reverses the ball back inside to Villa. The former Valencia man horribly scuffs his shot but it bounces off the leg of Gabi past the helpless Courtois! An absolute freak goal! 2-1 Barca!
The second half has been a vast improvement on the first period. Both sides actually look as if they want to win this now. It's hard to declare one team as a deserved winner though. Still time for someone to claim all three points.
Last change of the match from Diego Simeone. Adrian Lopez is replaced by exciting youngster, Oliver Torres. I think we'll be seeing a lot more of this young man next season, a terrific prospect. Let's see if he can make an impact in this last 15 minutes.
Yellow Card Cesc Fàbregas
The Chilean is booked by the referee for taking off his strip for his celebration, even though his t-shirt was inscribed with a mothers day message. Come on ref, have a heart!
Yellow Card Alexis Sánchez
Assist Cesc Fàbregas
Goal Alexis Sánchez
GOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAL FOR BARCELONA!!! An unlikely equaliser!!! Alexis Sanchez drives towards goal and exchanges a lovely one-two with Fabregas inside the box before retrieving possession back and stabbing a strike into the bottom right corner!! 1-1!
David Villa steps up and looks to curl the ball over the wall into the far corner but his attempt floats over the bar. That was never bothering Courtois in the Atletico goal.
Free kick to Barcelona in a great position on the edge of the box after Alexis is tripped up by Rodriguez. With Messi on the sidelines, who'll take the set-piece for Barca?
Second change of the game from Atletico. Diego Costa comes on in place of Radamel Falcao. It looks like the Colombian is being wrapped up in cotton wool ahead of the Copa del Rey final against Real Madrid next weekend.
Some real trouble for Barcelona here! It looks like Messi is going to have to come off with injury, and the Catalan side have used all three of their substitutions. It will be an uphill task to get back into this now!
Disappointing. Barca take the free kick early and the ball comes to Iniesta, but he is pressed extremely quickly by the Atletico players and ends up dragging his shot harmlessly wide.
Tiago upends Jordi Alba 25 yards from goal and Barcelona get the free kick in a really useful position. Let's see what they can make from this, they haven't really tested Courtois so far.
First substitution of the match from Diego Simeone. Arda Turan comes off to a rapturous reception from the Vicente Calderon crowd, and is replaced by Cristian Rodriguez, who'll slot in down that left flank.
Speculative effort from Alexis. The former Udinese man picks up possession 25 yards from goal and tries his luck with a powerful strike. There was plenty of power behind it but it flies over the bar, not bothering Courtois.
Almost immediately after the previous change, Tito Vilanova makes another substitution. Adriano, who looks to have picked up a hamstring injury, is replaced by David Villa.
Second change of the match from Barcelona. Sergio Busquets enters the fray and he'll replace Alex Song in the middle of midfield.
Cracking defending from Insua. Iniesta once again floats a perfect pass out to the right, this time for Alexis Sanchez. The Chilean looks to shift the ball down the wing but he is stopped in his tracks by the former Liverpool defender, who steals possession.
Iniesta sprays the ball out to the right-hand side and Messi takes the ball down with a glorious first touch. Adriano eventually whips a cross to the back post but once again Atletico remain solid at the back and clear out of the box.
Important interception from Adriano!! Falcao lifts the ball out to the left-hand side for Arda and the Turk would have been through on goal but for a vital touch from the Brazilian!
That goal was arguably against the run of play. Barca had improved from the first half, but they were undone by a rapid counterattack from the hosts!
Goal Radamel Falcao
GOOOOOAAAAL GOOOAAAAAAL GOOOOOAAAAAL!!! Atletico lead the champions!! A scuffle on the edge of the area sees Gabi scuff the ball to Falcao, and the Colombian stabs a shot into the bottom right corner!! 1-0!!!
A much livelier tempo to the match now! There's a lot more intensity in the play! Will we see a goal soon?
Barca looking much brighter after the restart. Iniesta threads a pass down the left-hand side and Alba lashes a cross into the six yard box, but Courtois comes off his line to claim the ball.
We are back under way at Vicente Calderon!
Half time at Vicente Calderon. Spanish Primera Division champions Barcelona are being held 0-0 by Atletico Madrid. Not a lot of action on show here as both sides look to be playing out a dour draw! Here's hoping the second half livens up a bit!
45' + 1'
TELLO!!!! A whisker wide!! The Barca man cuts inside from the left and looks to curl the ball into the far post, but his attempt goes, inches, only inches wide! That's the closest anyone has came!
Alves won't be able to continue. The Brazilian has been replaced by Marc Bartra, who go to centre back. Adriano will go out to right-back.
Koke drives down the right-hand side and looks to slide a pass through to Adrian, but the 25-year-old was offside. Shockingly, we almost had a chance there.
It looks like Dani Alves may be struggling with an injury. The Brazilian just pulled up and appears to be clutching his hip. Looked fairly innocuous.
There's been a lot of neat build-up play from Barca so far. Song, Iniesta, and Fabregas have all displayed decent touches but there's very little happening up top.
Godin is on hand with a brilliant interception again. It's Iniesta who's at the heart of Barca's play again as he clips a cracking pass over the top of the defence. Fabregas looks to connect with the ball on the volley but the Uruguayan is there to glance back into the hands of Courtois.
Wouldn't want to accuse Atletico or Barca of lacking impetus, but both sides seem to be in holiday mode slightly! Come on lads, there's entertaining to be done!
Diego Simeone is going off his head on the touchline! Fabregas looks to handle the ball inside the Atletico half and the Argentine wants a booking for it. Perhaps not the most sporting of acts, but by the letter of the law, the Barca man should be yellow carded.
Great defending from Miranda!! Messi slides a pass through to Tello and the 21-year-old bursts through to Courtois, but the Brazilian makes up incredible ground to come in and make a vital interception!
It's an incredibly even clash so far. Perhaps Real Madrid's draw with Espanyol last night and Barcelona subsequent crowning as champions has taken a bit of a bite out of the game?
Terrific defensive header from Godin!! Alves clips a great cross to the back post and Cesc looks poised to head at goal, but the Atletico man is there to glance the ball behind for a corner kick!!
ADRIAN!!! Just wide!! Falcao slides the ball through to his team-mate, and the 25-year-old fires a shot towards goal, but it goes just by the left-hand post! Pinto looked comfortable, but it wasn't that far wide!
Not a lot of goalmouth action so far. Jose Pinto and Thibaut Courtois have had relatively quiet games. Both defences on top.
Close from Godin! A corner kick is whipped to the back post and the Uruguayan rose highest in the box before powering a head at goal, but his attempt goes just the wrong side of the right-hand post. A warning for Barca there.
That's easy for Courtois. Messi curls the free kick over the wall but it's straight down the throat of the on-loan Chelsea 'keeper, who collects with ease.
The Atletico captain is risking the wrath of the referee now. He just cynically tripped up Messi after the Argentine had turned sharply and was looking to drive towards goal. Free kick to Barca in a useful position 25 yards from goal.
A small tiff breaks out as Alba goes down clutching his face after an altercation with Gabi in midfield. There was absolutely nothing in it. Poor sportsmanship from the Barca man.
Superb pressing again from the hosts. Falcao and Adrian hunt down Pique and the Barca man is forced to retreat and pass the ball back to Pinto. Barca typically manage to pass their way out of defence.
Barca just turning up the heat now. Dani Alves bursts into the box and looks to exchange a neat one-two with Alexis, but the Chilean's return pass was overhit and Atletico get the goal kick.
Ohhhh Cesc was inches away!! Iniesta picks up the ball 25 yards out and dinks a delightful pass over the defence, but the former Arsenal man can't stretch out a leg to direct the ball towards goal. Goal kick to Atletico.
First glimpse of Radamel Falcao. The Colombian takes a couple of touches to get beyond the Barca defence, but his left-footed strike is dragged into the hands of Pinto. Not his best attempt.
You wonder how long Atletico will be able to keep up this relentless pressing. Barca are being given very little time of the ball, but it must be taxing for the home side.
It's been a real midfield battle so far. No chances at either end as of yet.
Juanfran attempts to get beyond Alba down the right-hand side, but end up pulling the shirt of the former Valencia man. Free kick to Barcelona deep in their own half.
It'll be interesting to see how the game plays out. Both sides effectively don't have anything to play for, but Barca will be wanting to celebrate their title win with a good performance. Atletico, on the other hand, will want a victory over the champions on their season CV.
Bright start to the match here. Barca attempting to get into their passing rhythm, but Atletico are doing their best to get into the faces of the Catalans. Simeone has them fired up!
We are under way at Vicente Calderon!
The Barcelona players are taking to the field now, as the Atletico players form a guard of honour. A deserved accolade for the Catalan side!

Barca have failed to keep a clean sheet in their last four games across all competitions, conceding 11 goals in that sequence, but have won their last five encounters with Atletico Madrid.
Atletico Madrid have won just one of their last four home matches in La Liga but Barcelona have won just one of their last seven away matches in all competitions.
Both sides are coming into the match in slightly indifferent form compared to their blistering start to the season.
The title may be decided, but make no mistake about it, Barca and Atletico will want a strong end to the season, especially since they have been rivals at the top of the table for the majority of the campaign.
Barcelona (4-3-3): Pinto; Alves, Pique, Adriano, Alba; Song, Iniesta, Cesc; Alexis, Messi, Tello.
Atletico (4-4-2): Courtois; Juanfran, Miranda, Godin, Insua; Gabi, Tiago, Arda, Koke; Adrian, Falcao.
I'm Martin Macdonald, and I'll be taking you through the action this evening!
So congratulations Los Cules!
Barcelona go into the match tonight as Spanish Primera Division champions. The Catalan side win the league before having to kick a ball this weekend, thanks to city rivals, Espanyol, who held Real Madrid to a 1-1 draw on Saturday evening.
