Couldn't do much about Di Santo's opener. Was forced into a tackle and slightly unlucky to see his challenge rebound for the striker. Made a decent stop straight after, but saw the rebound popped in again. Made a good stop from Moses in the second half.
Struggled to deal with the pace and trickery of Victor Moses, resulting in both the second Wigan goal and a booking in the first half.
Provided some good attacking play from the left, showing fancy footwork to evade challenges, but there was some wayward passing at times that didn't help his team.
Had an early shot that threatened, but didn't trouble Al-Habsi. His next effort was much more clinical, a thumping header that gave the Omani no chance.
Looked off the pace at times, and was caught out of position for the opener. Had a shot that crept just wide of the post.
Was impressive in the opening stages, and whipped in the cross that got Arsenal back in the game. Played well throughout the second half.
Didn't have a fluent opening half, with Moses running away from him on occasion. Wasn't able to combine with Ramsey effectively either and seemed to lack concentration occasionally.
Had only one real contribution, whipping a free kick into the wall before forcing a corner and then leaving through injury.
Played some nice football in the first 45 but didn't get any real type of fluency. Forced two good saves with headers, the second one a fantastic stop from Al-Habsi.
Didn't get many opportunities on the ball, either being hounded by Beausejour or Figueroa. Did well defending from the front though, giving the defenders little time on the ball to start attacks, but wasn't incisive enough going forward.
R. van Persie
A fairly quiet opening half by his imperious standards. Had a performance to forget on the day he was nominated for the PFA Player of the Year.
Ali Al Habsi
Made some outstanding saves from a variety of players, including Benayoun and Van Persie. His perceived time-wasting angered the home fans but ticked down precious seconds for the visitors.
Largely a good performance from the right-back, but his marking for Vermaelen's goal was poor, leading to an overload in the centre, played in an unfamiliar advanced role on the right of a four-man midfield.
Got wide from his centre-back berth well, but was disciplined and stayed well back. Dealt well with pressure from Walcott among others, and made some good tackles, one in particular after a loose pass threatened a breakaway for the hosts.
A great performance from the defender, making countless clearances and interceptions. He really organised the back line well, playing in a formation that could have been problematic defensively.
Formed a great partnership at the back with Caldwell to create a barrier that Arsenal didn't look like breaking in the second half. Solid.
A player not famed for his defensive capabilities, but did well to stifle Walcott. Also helped out in attack.
Played his part in the two early goals, assisting the first with a nice swept pass and scoring the second. Made a good run to get onto Moses' cross, and did well to react after an initial shot was blocked.
Has been in fine form of late, and carried it on early in the match, hitting Arsenal on the counter and whipping in the ball for the second. His running caused problems for Song in the centre and Sagna out wide. Had two good chances in the second half, creating the first one well and forcing a save, but took his second far too early when clean through. The most effective player on the pitch.
Did well to break up play and find his team-mates when he got on the ball.
Linked well with McArthur, and always looked for the ball when his defence was under pressure.
F. Di Santo
Got a tad lucky with the opener, but stayed cool under a challenge from Benayoun to finish after Szczesny's tackle. Worked hard and did well before his subsitution.

Didn't look prepared to come on as early as he did, and wasn't anywhere near his best.
A quiet game from the attacker, couldn't help his team get the equaliser.
Came on to try and provide some much needed spark, but was strangely subdued. Put in some crosses, but couldn't find an Arsenal player.
