A. Oxlade-Chamberlain 8'
André Santos 20'
David Fuster 27'
90' + 3'
FULL TIME! Not a classic Arsenal performance but Andre Santos' first Arsenal goal and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain's first Champions League strike enough to see them gain the three points. Olympiakos impressive visitors tonight and their contribution in the first half may leave them feeling they deserved a share of the spoils.
90' + 1'
Three minutes added time indicated.
Robin van Persie cuts in from the right but his clever pass inside just evades Tomas Rosicky's run and is cut out by the Olympiakos defence.
Pantelic has the opportunity to run at the Arsenal defence but slips when trying to pass out wide and gifts possession back to the hosts. Arsenal look like they should hold out now.
Arsenal seeing out time now as they patiently keep possession in front of Olympiakos.
Yellow CardRafik Zoheir Djebbour
End to end stuff now as Olympiakos desperately search for an equalizer. Aaron Ramsey's poor touch allows an Arsenal move to break down and an equally uncharacteristic miscontrol from Djebbour has the striker lunging in late and receiving a yellow card at the other end.
Kieran Gibbs comes on to replace Andrei Arshavin. Pat Rice looking to protect the Arsenal left hand side given Abdoun's impressive work since coming on.
Arteta swings in a free kick from the left which Costanzo must punch away with Arsenal shirts running across his line of sight.
Abdoun and Santos battle down the Arsenal left for possession with the Olympiakos attacker eventually conceding a foul.
Yellow CardMikel Arteta
Abdoun and Djebbour combine well on the right and draw a foul out of Mikel Arteta in the Arsenal half for which the Spaniard is booked.
Orbaiz is replaced by Modesto and a rather unhappy looking Mirallas leaves the field for Abdoun.
Olympiakos preparing to make a double change here looking to turn the tide back in their favour.
Arsenal much more in control of the match now and Olympiakos' attacking threat appears to have lessened somewhat.
Robin van Persie
Marouane Chamakh is replaced by van Persie as Arsene Wenger looks to give the Dutchman some minutes before Sunday's big match against Tottenham.
Yellow CardDavid Fuster
Aaron Ramsey collects a loose pass from the Olympiakos defence and plays in Arshavin who dashes on and toe pokes the ball at Costanzo. Might have finished better there the Russian.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is withdrawn for Aaron Ramsey. A hugely impressive European debut for the young Englishman who has been at the heart of every Arsenal attack tonight.
Arshavin collects Chamakh's flick on in front of the back four but is marshalled well by Marcano.
Olympiakos fans buoyed further by that Torosidis effort but their side waste a corner in front of that section of the crowd.
What. An. Effort. Torosidis cuts in from the left hand side and with his allegedly less favoured foot hits an absolute pearler which curls over and around Szczesny to hammer the crossbar. So close for Olympiakos.
Mellberg looks able to continue after retying his boot.
Chamakh makes a darting run to the front post but is beaten by Mellberg to the header from Sagna's cross. The Olympiakos defender appears to have injured himself in the confrontation.
Mikel Arteta tries a powered effort from 25 yards but it deflects off a defender and into Costanzo's grasp.
Fuster finds space in front of the Arsenal back four but his pass to Ibagaza is wasted after the forward tries a first time return that deflects of an Arsenal defender.
Arsenal fans unhappy after Holebas goes unpunished for seemingly bringing down Oxlade-Chamberlain in full flight.
Chamakh steals the ball from Torosidis but can't combine with Andrei Arshavin to unlock the Olympiakos defence.
Ibagaza's corner kick is played short (yes, again) to Holebas who has acres of space and time on his hands only to smash a shot well over the bar.
Oxlade-Chamberlain involved yet again as he plays in Andrei Arshavin in the area. Unfortunately for the hosts, the diminutive Russian is unable to keep his cross in play and the flag goes up after it dinks the top of the crossbar.
Rosicky and Oxlade-Chamberlain combine well on the right and after the young forward's cross bounces around the box it lands to the feet of Chamakh whose shot is desperately blocked.
Possession changing hands regularly in midfield but Arsenal certainly looking better so far this half.
Arsenal pressing much harder this half but are too eager in conceding two fouls in quick succession in the Olympiakos half.
Yellow CardJose Holebas
Chamakh slides in Oxlade-Chamberlain one-on-one but his dinked finish cannot beat Costanzo. Decent effort from a tight angle from the youngster.
Olympiakos take a free-kick square for about the fifth time tonight and Arsenal still do not pre-empt it. Mirallas gets a bit of luck in escaping an eventual Frimpong challenge only to half-volley just wide with Szczesny sprawling.
A rare Arsenal long ball finds Chamakh but the Moroccan striker inexplicably heads it straight up the air. If there was one lesson to be learned by Arsenal from the first half, it is that their possession retention needs to return.
Olympiakos get the game back underway and will want to build on a positive first half.
HALF TIME! Arsenal lead 2-1 on the night but have been far from dominant in this game. Fuster's goal ended Olympiakos' horrible scoring run in England and also gave hope that they might breach a shaky Arsenal defence yet again in the second half. Arsene Wenger may need to contemplate calling upon some experience from the bench after half-time, even with the North London derby approaching.
Ernesto Valverde will be happy with his side's work so far and may be confident they can get back into this game after half time.
Chamakh tries to hold off Mellberg but is eventually dispossessed in the box and the ball is cleared.
Arshavin's nonchalant pass gifts possession back to Olympiakos and sums up Arsenal's night so far. They are failing to starve their opposition of the ball, something that was once a hallmark of an Emirates visit.
Oxlade-Chamberlain beats Holebas for pace and whips in a beautiful cross which no Arsenal attacker gambles to meet.
Marcano has a chance to shoot from the corner but slips at the vital moment and sees it roll comfortably wide of the goal.
Sagna has his pocket picked by Mirallas who then hits a left footed shot which is well saved by Szczesny and out for a corner.
Arsenal win a corner after Arshavin's run down the left but it is punched away by Costanzo.
Yellow CardTomas Rosicky
The free-kick is rolled to Holebas but he cannot strike it beyond the Arsenal wall.
Tomas Rosicky concedes a foul on the very edge of his own box and this is a dangerous free kick for Arsenal to keep out.
Djebbour's flick plays Fejsa in down the left but his cross is stopped by Sagna. A bizarrely open game this.
Mikel Arteta's dangerous free kick from the right hand side of the area is headed away and a Chamakh foul relieves pressure on the Greek outfit.
Olympiakos deserved their goal and are potentially unlucky to be behind given their chance creation. Schoolboy defending by both sides in some cases.
Szczesny called into action again as another chance from the corner has him diving low to push it away.
Djebbour finds space in the area on the right after a well worked Olympiakos move and his thunderbolt effort forces a save from Szczesny.
GOAL! Holebas does well to play it off Bacary Sagna and after the subsequent corner is played short it is swung in to Fuster who heads it beyond a static Szczesny.
Should have been the third. Arshavin dinks a lofted pass over the defence to Chamakh who controls well on his chest only to drag woefully wide across goal. The striker's confidence has really took a hammering after enjoying a good start to his Gunners career.
Arshavin almost gets beyond the Olympiakos back four but is flagged for offside by the assistant.
Some interesting defending from Olympiakos as the ball ricochets off two defenders from a corner before eventually being cleared.
GOAL! A slide rule pass gets Andre Santos in behind the Olympiakos defence and after his pass to Chamakh is cut out the Brazilian receives possession and jinks inside the full-back to slide into the far corner of the goal. Relief for Arsenal who were under pressure from their visitors.
Olympiakos pushing hard as Torosidis tries to feed Fuster who can't beat Szczesny to the ball.
Frimpong makes an impressive recovery challenge 10 yards from the edge of his own area but the Greek side are getting at the back four with startling ease.
Other than conceding the early goal, Olympiakos have been on a level footing with Arsenal so far.
Brilliant defending follows some awful defending. Olympiakos play a clever corner to the edge of the box but after the rebounded shot falls to the feet of Djebbour 6 yards out he cannot get the ball beyond Mikel Arteta.
Mirallas nutmegs Alex Song on the left hand side of the box but is not adjudged to have been fouled after running into the Gunners man.
Oxlade-Chamberlain (who should really stop being so involved given the time it takes to type his name) does brilliantly again to avoid the Olympiakos defence and feed Arteta. The Spanish midfielder's cross is blocked and the subsequent corner is headed wide by Chamakh.
Mertesacker pinches the ball brilliantly at the edge of his area to regain possession and nullify the Olympiakos threat.
Arsenal looking to steam into an early comfortable lead here by maintaining impressive pressure but Arteta's corner is headed away well by the Olympiakos defence.
GOAL! Oxlade-Chamberlain takes the ball on his chest coolly from a lofted pass 18 yards out and after skipping past two defenders slides the ball back across goal into the bottom corner. He'd already looked impressive in the early minutes and now has his first Champions League goal.
Mirallas flagged offside after a ball oer the top. Olympiakos certainly not sitting back here.
Early chance for the visitors! Torosidis breaks down the right but his pull back is dragged wide by Orbaiz. Arsenal didn't look particularly impressive defensively there.
Possession pinballing between the two sides in front of the Olympiakos defence but Chamakh can't flick on toward Rosicky and the ball is cleared.
Typically patient start from Arsenal but Mikel Arteta gives away possession after failing to find debutant Oxlade-Chamberlain on the right.
Arsenal get us under way.
Alex Song will be taking up an unfamiliar role in central defence tonight given the late withdrawal of Laurent Koscielny through injury. More hope for Olympiakos?
The teams are lined up now for the famous Champions League theme in front of a sold out Emirates stadium.
Former Aston Villa defender, Olof Mellberg, takes his place at the heart of the Olympiakos defence tonight. He was the first player to score a competitive goal at the Emirates during a Premier League fixture here but may have his hands too full with defensive duties tonight to consider forays into the opposition box.
Arsenal were perhaps unfortunate to concede a 90th minute equaliser in their last Champions League away at Dortmund. Can they get their first European win this season tonight?
Olympiakos have only ever scored once in England in nine attempts - that came against Liverpool in 2005. Given Arsenal's well-documented defensive woes could tonight be the Greek side's chance to end that woeful run?
Olympiakos coach Ernesto Valverde has opted to include Rafik Djebbour from the start tonight after the forward had to settle for a place on the bench in their last Champions League outing. The key question is has he bravely opted to go for a two up top or will Djebbour feature on the wing?
Arsene Wenger moves in-form captain Robin van Persie to the bench and hands youngster Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain his Champions League debut tonight. Fellow Arsenal youth product Emmanuel Frimpong also features in an unfamiliar starting lineup.
Olympiakos: Costanzo; Torosidis, Mellberg, Marcano, Holebas; Orbaiz, Fejsa, Ibagaza, David Fuster; Djebbour, Mirallas. Subs: Megyeri, Modesto, Pantelic, Papadopoulos, Makoun, Potouridis, Abdoun.
Arsenal: Szczesny; Sagna, Mertesacker, Song, Andre Santos; Frimpong, Arteta, Rosicky; Oxlade-Chamberlain, Arshavin, Chamakh. Subs: Fabianski, Park, van Persie, Ramsey, Jenkinson, Gibbs, Coquelin.
Arsene Wenger has made some surprise changes for this the last game of his two match touchline ban.
