Fernando Torres 6'
V. Moses 90'+
Willian 9', 47'
And that's all over, Shakhtar barely have time to take centre. It's very harsh on the visitors, who were the better side by a long distance for periods of the match. Chelsea won't care, securing a vital three points with a daunting trip to face Juventus up next.
90' + 4'
Assist Juan Mata
90' + 4'
Goal Victor Moses
GOAL!!!! And that's the winner for Chelsea!!! Mata sends in a great cross, and an unmarked Victor Moses heads into the top corner, over the defender on the post.
90' + 3'
The referee isn't earning himself any fans, preventing the hosts from taking a quick free kick. It's launched into the box but cleared for a corner. Surely the last chance.
90' + 2'
Willian and Adriano almost combine to send the latter through on goal, but it's cut out by David Luiz.
Shakhtar come so close! Ryan Bertrand blocks a shot, before Ivanovic blocks another just wide of the goal. They're pushing hard for a winner now.
Yellow Card David Luiz
Shakhtar launch what looks like a dangerous counter, but Willian just can't find Srna down the right.
Mata's corner is nodded down by Cahill and, with Ivanovic lurking at the far post, Willian makes a vital clearance.
The visitors look like they might just settle for a draw here, the tempo has slowed considerably for them, and they are giving the ball away quite regularly.
Chelsea earn another corner. They're certainly looking the more likely at the moment, but it's easily claimed by Pyatov.
More penalty claims as Oscar goes down again under a challenge from Rat, but it's a great challenge. Corner to Chelsea is punched to the edge of the box, and Mikel volleys just wide of the post!
Mikel is under pressure and falls over on the ball asking for a foul, but the referee gives a handball the opposite way. Mikel is not a pleased chap.
A corner is whipped in for Shakhtar, but there's no-one on the end of it. A good cross wasted.
Controversial moment as Hazard plays Ramires in and the Brazilian goes down under a challenge from Srna. Huge claims for a penalty are waved away by the referee though.
Hazard gets in a shot from a narrow angle but Pyatov saves again, with Ivanovic searching for scraps.
There's a break in play with Olexandr Kucher down injured. A stretcher is initially called for, but it seems like he'll be fine to continue in a moment.
Oscar goes down in the box but it's not a penalty, and the ball falls to Mata, but he is caught in two minds and his cross towards Torres is overhit.
DISALLOWED GOAL! Mata's shot is going wide and Mikel gets on the end of it to head home, but he is correctly adjudged offside. Good call from the assistant referee.
Torres is taken out twice in a matter of seconds, earning a free kick on the edge of the box which Mata will take.
Pyatov hits another poor clearance to Oscar, but the midfielder's header towards Torres sees the striker in an offside position.
The game has slightly slowed in the past few minutes, with Chelsea putting in some good tackles.
Hazard's free kick drifts through the middle of everyone and past the far post, it could have easily been a goal there. Meanwhile, John Terry is rather strangely warming up on an exercise bike down by the tunnel.
Yellow Card Alex Teixeira
Chelsea have finally started playing in the second half. Teixeira is booked for bringing down Hazard in a dangerous position on the left.
Razvan Rat hits the upright! Srna's corner is cleared to the edge of the box and the left-back strikes a low shot off the foot of the post!
It would be fair to say that Luiz is not having the best of games as his pass is cut out again by the visitors. He's been very loose with the ball today.
Chelsea almost give away another. David Luiz loses the ball in the centre of the pitch, and after Srna brings the ball forward, a cross is eventually scrambled clear by the defence.
Assist Darijo Srna
GOAL! What a start to the second half! Fernandinho produces a pass of the highest order to pick out Srna on the right, just inside the area, and his pull-back finds Willian to place home at the near post, another outstanding goal.
Chelsea get us going again for what will hopefully be another enthralling 45 minutes.
And here is an update from our man at the ground, Greg Stobart: "An enthralling half comes to an end at Stamford Bridge with Chelsea leading Shakhtar Donetsk 2-1 at the break. It’s been end-to-end from virtually the first minute, with both sides impressing in attack but looking vulnerable defensively. Fernando Torres and Oscar score the two Chelsea goals - both times taking advantage of poor clearances from Shakhtar goalkeeper Andriy Pyatov - either side of a well worked goal by Willian. Chelsea boss Roberto Di Matteo will be happy but the next goal is absolutely crucial, with the visitors very dangerous in the final third."
And after a breathless 45 minutes, it's half-time. The visitors were the better side for much of the first half, but two mistakes from keeper Pyatov have put Chelsea in front.
David Luiz causes panic again in the Chelsea defence for the umpteenth time this season, clearing a header on the edge of the area straight to the opposition, but the visitors just can't eke out a chance.
The fans are certainly getting their money's worth here, with Oscar forcing Pyatov into more action, pushing over a shot from the edge of the area.
GOAL! Srna whips in a corner that looks dangerous, but it's cleared by Cahill to launch a counter. Mata's pass towards Ivanovic of all people finds Pyatov in a sweeper role but the keeper's header outside the area is straight to Oscar, who volleys in on the bounce from all of 45 yards. A tremendous effort!
Torres attempts a flashy backheel and falls to the floor with Chelsea in the midst of launching a dangerous counter.
Ivanovic has acres of space on the right after being found just inside his own half by Oscar, but the right-back wastes his opportunity to get forward as he fails to find Mikel with a pass.
Great movement from Shakhtar, and almost another goal. A sweeping attack with Fernandinho finding Adriano before laying off to Teixeira who fires just wide from the edge of the area.
Another Ivanovic cross flies past Torres, who looked a little sluggish in getting into the box. Both teams settling into the game properly now, with some shape being displayed in the defences (finally).
Shakhtar are keeping the ball well, playing some nice short passes but also happy to spread the play wide.
Hazard looks Chelsea's best player so far, finding Ivanovic on the wing, whose cross evades Torres in the centre. The hosts starting to build some good attacks now but it's still very open.
A long ball to Adriano is knocked back to Mkhitaryan, but the attacker drags his shot wide from 25 yards. At the other end, Eden Hazard combines well with Fernando Torres but when Mikel tries to play a through-ball for the Belgian it is just out of his reach.
Shakhtar are still looking the better team so far, but Chelsea are definitely dangerous on the counter.
Torres makes a great dummy to earn himself some space in the box, but from the narrowest of angles he shoots at the front post, hitting the side-netting when a cross might have been the better option.
Fernandinho has a powerful strike from long range that forces Cech into another save. This game is extremely open already.
It's almost 2-1 to Shakhtar! A corner from the right is deflected by Ryan Bertrand, and Cech has to be alive to keep it out at the front post, but Tomas Hubschmann can't do much with the rebound from a tight angle.
GOAL! It doesn't take long for the visitors to draw level. Fernandinho makes a great driving run into the box before cutting back for Willian (supposedly a Chelsea target last summer) to place the ball low past Cech from 10 yards. A lightning-quick start to the game.
Torres has a great chance to double the lead, but plants his shot low and straight at Pyatov after a good break.
Goal Fernando Torres
GOAL! Torres just can't get on the end of a cross that Pyatov claims. But from his roll out, the visitors are under pressure, and a pass back to him is closed down by the Spanish striker, who blocks Pyatov's clearance into the net!
Luiz then has a free kick of his own from distance, and again it bounces in front of the goalkeeper, with Andriy Pyatov spilling it, and gathering at the second attempt.
Yaroslav Rakytskyy hits the effort from distance, but after bouncing Petr Cech collects it calmly.
David Luiz gives away a sloppy free kick 30 yards out from goal, with his arms all over the attacker.
And Shakhtar kick off...
The teams are out and we're about to get underway.
We are five minutes away from kick-off, and this should certainly be a big task for Chelsea to pick up a win, with Shakhtar currently unbeaten in over a year.
And the visitors: Shakhtar Donetsk starting XI: Pyatov, Kucher, Rat, Srna, Rakitskiy, Fernandinho, Hubschman, Willian, Mkhitaryan, Teixeira, Adriano Subs: Kanibolotskiy, Shevchuk, Chygrynkiy, Ilsinho, Stepanenko, Douglas Costa, Eduardo.
Here are the teams in full, starting with the hosts. Chelsea starting XI: Cech; Ivanovic, Cahill, David Luiz, Bertrand; Ramires, Mikel; Mata, Oscar, Hazard; Torres Subs: Turnbull, Oriol Romeu, Moses, Marin, Sturridge, Terry, Azpillicueta
The big team news for you this evening is that John Terry starts on the bench for the hosts with David Luiz and Gary Cahill starting centrally, while Ryan Bertrand deputises for the injured Ashley Cole.
