  The captain rebounded from poor performances in the past week to score a fantastic opener. Showed incredible composure to power his header in off the bar and was a solid presence at the back. His booking for a challenge on Martinez was the one blot on his copybook.

  The Brazilian was reasonably reliable but he must take some blame for failing to pick up Jackson Martinez for the Porto equaliser. However, that said, the former Chelsea centre-back was a main figure in thwarting the opposition as the match progressed.

  The former Napoli star is beginning to show flashes of his previous brilliance. He was a menace for the Portuguese side to contend with, though he was gifted a goal by Helton’s error. Went off with 14 minutes to go for Marco Verratti.

  Ibrahimovic’s influence waned the longer the game went on, and despite early opportunities against Helton - in which he was denied by the goalkeeper - he would generally drop deeper to help carve out chances. Lucky not to have been booked in the opening stages. Missed a glaring opportunity to put the game to bed, prompting boos from some sections of the crowd.

  The Brazilian goalkeeper was unusually suspect at the Parc des Princes. Uncertain when to come for the ball, his night went from bad to worse after conceding howler by allowing Lavezzi’s weak shot to squirm under him and into the net. A night to forget.

  Surprisingly, the right-back was bright, as he found the perfect balance of attack and defence for the Portuguese giants. An unlikely source for Porto’s equaliser, he was a threat down the right flank. His game deteriorated towards the end, however.

  The Colombian forward was arguably one of the better players on show as he constantly proved to be a threat for PSG’s stuttering defence. Tested Sirigu with a powerful effort, before heading in a fine equaliser. He would be denied in the second half by the PSG No.1 again.
