Arsene Wenger is likely to rotate his side following their 1-1 draw against Manchester City on Sunday in order to give some first-team action to fringe and youth players.
Olivier Giroud, who has yet to score a Premier League goal for Arsenal so far this season, will be in contention to start in attack, with forgotten man Marouane Chamakh the other option up front.
Andrey Arshavin has made just one Premier League appearance so far season and is likely to be handed a spot on the flanks for the hosts. Wenger may also experiment with his central midfield trio, with Francis Coquelin and Thomas Eisfeld both in the running for a starting berth.
Coventry City boss Mark Robins marked his first game in charge at the weekend with a 2-1 defeat at home to Carlisle United.
New signing Franck Moussa could be handed a start on the left flank, should he recover from an illness in time.

Should the Frenchman start on Wednesday, the pressure will be on for him to net his first goal for Arsenal following his arrival from Montpellier in the summer. The 25-year-old has had plenty of chances to open his account this season but has lacked the cutting edge and composure in front of goal so far. Against a struggling League One side with a leaky defence, Giroud should be able to get his name on the scoresheet.

The 24-year-old has shown plenty of work rate in the initial stages of his loan spell from Nottingham Forest and has netted twice for the League One club this season, including Coventry's only goal in the 2-1 defeat to Carlisle United on Saturday.
Wenger is likely to experiment with his side but that shouldn't have a significant impact on the quality of the team who are likely to face the League One outfit. The players coming into the Arsenal side will be looking to impress, particularly those who have been frozen out of the first team so far this term. Coventry have struggled both home and away this season and should Arsenal get an early goal, it could be a long night for Robins' men.
