  The American made his first start for his new club and thought he'd scored with a typically well-timed run and header in the first-half - only for the effort to be ruled out for a marginal offside. Worked hard but perhaps could have made more runs beyond Defoe.

  The winger was surprisingly named captain for the night but produced a bright performance. His pace caused Lazio a number of problems as he got in behind but his final ball was often misplaced. Double effort in the second-half somehow kept out by first the goalkeeper and then Biava.
