A game of few chances then and Urby Emmanuelson's scrappy strike is enough to seal it. The Blues have not had a great run of results on this pre-season tour. Does Roberto Di Matteo have work to do? I'll leave you pondering that, thank you very much for joining me for the game tonight. Goodbye!
90′ +3
Full time! Another defeat for Chelsea on their pre-season tour!
90′ +1
Late chance as Hutchinson shrugs off a couple of chances before nudging the ball to Torres, the Spaniard is caught on his heels slightly and Bonera holds him off well when he attempts to burst past.
90′
We're closing in on the final whistle now. Milan on the ball and will likely look to shut the game down.
89′
A fresh mention though from @richie_crost: "I vote urby emanuelson 4 Man of d match"
88′
Among those enjoying being in the garden of Eden are @SamMcCusker, @cooleddiebet and @Tyafo
87′
There's only one name coming from you on Twitter. @otubeezy: "Hazard is definitely the best performer tonite...he looked lively all through."
86′
Taken by Hazard, who hits it over the bar.
85′
Long ball up to Torres who is barged by Bonera, was it in side the box? Maybe just, but a free kick is given right on the edge of the box. Hazard, Luiz and Marin standing over it...
83′
On the pitch though, Essien crashes a long-ranger that deflects for a corner. Hazard takes the set-piece and can't beat the first man, poor.
82′
Time's running out in the game. With less than 10 to go, let me know who has been your man of the match tonight. Tweet me @matthewgscott and your vote may end up featuring here!
80′
I've just remembered Fernando Torres is on the pitch. Quiet one for the Spaniard tonight.
78′
Subs, subs and more subs. Chelsea are now contolling the ball calmly. Mostly in the middle third, at no threat to the Italians.
76′
Substitution
Sam Hutchinson
Ramires
76′
Substitution
Michael Essien
Branislav Ivanovic
76′
Substitution
Florent Malouda
Frank Lampard
73′
Oh dear, Petr Cech. A long ball bounces into the penalty area but the keeper misjudges the ball, slips and fumbles the ball out for a corner under no pressure. Luckily for Cech the set-piece is poor and comes to nothing.
72′
Meanwhile, entertaining stuff from @JuxAsher: "AC Milan's medic needs to work on losing weight so he can help people faster." He's fairly porky, it could be said.
71′
That's really woken Milan up. Emmanuelson bursts down the left and Ferreira is needed to scramble his fine cross away. Can Chelsea get back into this one now?
69′
Goal Urby Emanuelson
GOAL to Milan!!! From nowhere! The Blues' defensive line is far too high and the Dutchman is released clear, he switches the ball to El Shaarawy who sees his one-on-one effort block by Cech but the ball falls straight back to Emmanuelson who tucks the ball past Ivanovic on the line.

67′
The game has lost a lot of its impetus after all those changes. Marin wins a corner that Luiz gets a good run on to but flicks his near-post header well wide.
64′
Walk it off big guy!
63′
A raft of subs now, it's a quiet moment too after Marin chips the ball right into Bakaye Traore's gentlemen's area. Owwwwwww.

Luca Antonini

Substitution
Riccardo Montolivo

59′

59′
Substitution
Paulo Ferreira
Ashley Cole
59′
Substitution
Fernando Torres
Romelu Lukaku
58′
Change imminent for Chelsea. Fernando Torres is stripped and ready for action.
57′
David Luiz hits one with his left foot from 30 yards. You probably don't need me to tell you it didn't go in.
56′
Hazard again central to Chelsea's good work, picking the ball up on the edge of the box and picking up the pace, attempting a one-two with Ivanovic but Yepes does well to clear.
54′
Now it's the Blues' turn. Decent stuff from Lukaku down the elft channel, holding the ball up before cutting the ball back to Lampard. The midfielder drills a shot goalwards from the edge of the box but Amelia is equal to it for his first save. Hotting up a bit, this one.
52′
Couple of Milan efforts. First Emmanuelson runs at the Chelsea defence before forcing Cech into his first save of note. The ball gets worked back to Flamini and he smashes a shot wide.
50′
Very unconvincing from Amelia under crosses again. Lampard swings a corner in and the keeper flaps horribly. He must have got something on it as another corner is given.
47′
Early chances for Chelsea. First Hazard squirms through two before being felled. Lamaprd hits the free-kick into the wall and after some more passages of play, Mikel rattles in an effort from the edge of the box, but Amelia saves well.
46′
Substitution
Marko Marin
Raúl Meireles
46′
Chelsea kick us off. Just the one change for the Blues. While Milan appear to remain unaltered.
We have some players back on the pitch. I'll scout for further changes as the second half is about to get underway!
A rare Italian backer in @Taradel4u: "Milan is gonna win this, but they must pull up their lace."
Marko Marin will be on for the second half, for Raul Meireles with Marin going out wide and Eden Hazard moving inside. A change many of you wanted!
More player summing up with @Haaris_Yahya: "Hazard has shown signs of brilliance but I doubt whether he would emulate this form. Boateng's been lively. He's brilliant."
Chelsea's striker is not impressing @yeancah_blingz: "I realy think lukaku should be loan out for whole season I sometime wonder if he ever played for anderlecht."
Talking tactics with @otubeezy: "chelsea need to bring on marin and take out meireles.... I dont think he's achieved much today." The Portuguese hasn't been brilliant playing in the hole it has to be said, maybe the German is the solution.
Too kind from @Owen_Vineyard! "I must say your commentary is hilarious #NiceJob." I do try...
I can only agree with @doziemikel: "I think Hazard has been really impressive." The Belgian has been the best player so far, for me.
A happy blue can be foud in @OMG_Its_6ix: "#CFC appear stronger with their rate of play and seem to have better players on d pitch."
Some of you have got in touch with me on Twitter, let's have a look what you reckon. Tweet @matthewgscott if you want to get involved.
45′
We've 45 minutes on the watch and the referee blows for half-time! Not one for the ages so far, it has to be said.
43′
Lovely from Hazard, he passes the ball with his chest to Lampard and then as the move progresses plays a lovely back-heel flick into Cole's path before the ball is given away. The Belgian is looking the sharpest of just about anyone on the pitch
40′
OUCH! Long free-kick humped into the area by Ashley Cole and Ivanovic gets up to head it but can only butt the back of Yepes' noggin. That brings Eva Caneiro, the Blues' physio, onto the pitch, and she is lovely.
38′
Another lull, so for fun, here's a team comprised of players that have left Milan this summer: Flavio Roma; Gianluca Zambrotta, Thiago Silva, Alessandro Nesta, Didac Vila; Alberto Aquilani, Mark van Bommel, Gennaro Gatusso; Clarence Seedorf, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Pippo Inzaghi. Looks a decent one to me!
36′
It's been a decent match so far, I think. If you want to let me know your thoughts you can tweet me @matthewgscott and we'll have a natter!
34′
More good work from Boateng, holding off Luiz and moving into the box before feeding Emmanuelson but the Dutchman skies his effort. Ugly.
31′
The Italians are well on top now. Boateng rattles a long-range effort wide before looking to trick his way past Cole before winning a corner that comes to nothing.
29′
Almost another opening for Milan. Emmanuelson beats a man before playing the ball ahead of Flamini in the left channel. The former Arsenal man tries to cut inside Ivanovic but the stocky Serb holds him off and Cech gathers easily.
27′
Ooh! A shot! Someone had a shot! El Sharaawy tricks and turns his way past a couple of players before squaring to Traore, who gets the ball out of his feet and toe-ends an effort that nips wide. Terrible technique, but amusing to see.
26′
Erm... It's a bit quiet again. Chelsea are keeping the ball nicely and the Serie A side aren't really harrying them until they absolutely have to.
23′
The pace livens up a bit, and it's Hazard again who is central, skinning Antonini before being checked by Bonera. It looked like a foul but nothing given.
21′
After a decent opening this game's slowed down a wee bit. David Luiz is taking to playing at an American Football stadium and heaving a few 'Hail Mary' passes around the pitch, most of them not finding their targets. Well I say 'most'... I mean all of them.
18′
For a teenager, Romelu Lukaku is a giant of a human being. The Belgian receives the ball at his feet and, under pressure from Bonera, fouls the Italian defender by simply being loads bigger than him.
17′
Meanwhile, away from this game, Barcelona are 5-0 up against Raja Casablanca. Lionel Messi has scored four. Normal service resumed there then.
15′
Milan's turn to look threatening now as Bakaye Traore bundles his way through misfield before feeding Emmanuelson. The Dutchman dispatches a cross into the area but Luiz heads clear, unchallenged.
13′
Another good set-piece delivery from the Blues. Lampard swings a ball in from the right and Ivanovic leaps like a river-dwelling fish to nod the ball down but he mucks it up a bit and the ball is scrambled away.
11′
Marco Amelia Supermans it off his line in an attempt to reach the set-play but is nowhere near it. Luckily for the keeper, his defence get a flick on it and the danger is cleared.
10′
The £32 million man goes up a notch! Hazard has the ball on the left wing and darts inside towards goal, jinking past Antonini and Yepes before his shot is blocked away for a corner.
9′
Kevin Prince Boateng, who has got rid of his wacky hairstyle from last season, gives running at JT a go before chucking himself to the floor, nothing doing.
7′
Chance! Deep free-kick played into the Milan box is headed back into the danger area by Branislav Ivanovic towards Terry. The defender swivels and hits a volley narrowly over the bar, decent effort.
6′
Great counterattack chance for the Rossoneri as Antonini and El-Sharaawy exchange passes before the right-back takes a heavy touch and the opportunity vanishes.
4′
Ooooh, first bit of attacking play for Milan. Flamini sweeps a ball out to left-back Djamel Mesbah who whips a cross inbetween the defenders and Petr Cech but none of his team-mates are around to capitalise.
2′
Eden Hazard picks up the ball in space and bursts forward before badly over-hitting his pass to Ashley Cole. £32 million well spent, I reckon.
1′
AC kick us off and they will be attacking from right to left, for those imagining events in their mind's eye.
The player have booted some footballs into the stands, the advertising is cleared off the pitch. Here we go!
Right then, nearly time to get underway, the teams are out and there looks to be a fairly packed stadium in sun-bathed Miami.
Roberto Di Matteo is taking this one seriously: "There will probably be less substitutes in this one. We will look to be more settled with some big players in the side. We can't say that this is how we will play next season though."
Crikey. David Luiz and Carlos Valderrama posing for pictures together. Talk about before and after...
AC Milan Subs: Mattia De Sciglio, Antonio Nocerino, Francesco Acerbi, Riccardo Montolvio, Ignazio Abate, Bryan Cristante, Simone Andrea Ganz, Mattia Valoti, Edoardo Pazzagli, Philipp Prosenik, Antonio Cassano.
Chelsea Subs: Jamal Blackman, Paulo Ferreira, Sam Hutchinson, Nathaniel Chalobah, Gary Cahill, Michael Essien, Marko Marin, Florent Malouda, Lucas Piazon, Fernando Torres.
I was distracted by former World Players of the Year, apologies, there's subs benches for you to indulge in too. Give me a moment...
George Weah! Chelsea TV tracked down the striker who played for both clubs, he's been singing the praises of John Terry, admitting he is delighted to see how successful the Blues' skipper has become.
"He's a good player. He's a good guy."
AC Milan XI: Marco Amelia, Luca Antonini, Mario Yepes, Daniele Bonera, Djamel Mesbah; Massimo Ambrosini, Bakaye Traore, Mathieu Flamini; Kevin Prince-Boateng, Urby Emanuelson, Stephen El Shaarawy
Chelsea XI: Petr Cech; Branislav Ivanovic, David Luiz, John Terry (c), Ashley Cole; John Mikel Obi, Frank Lampard; Ramires, Eden Hazard, Raul Meireles; Romelu Lukaku.
Anyway, moving swiftly on! Let's have a lovely bit of team news for you, starting with the Blues...
Cashley then thanks all the fans in the United States and those who have travelled out. Aww, isn't he a lovely lad?
Cole continued: "In pre-season games, you don't see the best of big teams. AC Milan have got good players and I'm sure it's going to be a great game. We've just got to get our tactics right and play the way we want to play."
Ashley Cole has had a natter to Chelsea TV, though, and said: "With the Euros and missing the penalty (against Italy) I just needed to clear my head. I'm not fully fit but that's what these games are all about."
You won't find any rubbish Miami Vice jokes here tonight, unlike on Chelsea's own television station. Shame on you Jason Cundy.
Hello! Good evening to all of you burning the midnight (or whatever time it is where you are) oil, this is Goal.com's LIVE! play-by-play of Chelsea's pre-season friendly against AC Milan from Miami's SunLife Stadium!
