Darren Bent (ankle) has been missing from the Aston Villa starting line-up for several weeks, but could be in line to make a return on the bench on Saturday. Mark Albrighton (ankle) and Richard Dunne (groin) are still unavailable for Paul Lambert.
Meanwhile, QPR keeper Julio Cesar (hip) is unlikely to be fit so Robert Green should continue in goal for the Rs. Andy Johnson (knee) is a long-term absentee but should be approaching full fitness over the coming weeks.

Aston Villa have lost just one of the last six Premier League games with Ron Vlaar in the starting line-up.
- Last weekend's 2-1 win over Reading was the first time Villa have come from behind to win a league game since January 2012.
- Christian Benteke (pictured right) has scored eight goals in 11 games in all competitions in 2013.
- A home victory would send Paul Lambert's side seven points ahead of the Rs.
- QPR's wins against Southampton and Sunderland marked the first time they have won back-to-back games all season.
- Striker Loic Remy has three goals from just 10 shots in the Premier League.
- The Rs' four Premier League wins this season have all come from games they were drawing at the interval. QPR are 13/2 with bet365 to beat Aston Villa after drawing at half-time.

He has been a revelation at Aston Villa, answering those initial doubters after Paul Lambert selected him ahead of Darren Bent to being an undisputed starter. Despite Villa's poor domestic form, it is scary to think where they would be without the youngster and his goals are crucial to their survival.

Eyebrows were raised when Loic Remy joined QPR after scoring just one goal all season for Marseille, but Redknapp - an admirer from his days in charge of Tottenham - has been repaid with his faith with a return of three goals in four starts. Like with Benteke, it would not be surprising to see the striker play a key role is the Rs' battle against the drop.
QPR have the momentum behind them after two morale-boosting victories, but Aston Villa also recorded a long-overdue win last time out so it will be a test for either side to prove their desire to lift themselves out of trouble. Thusly, has a draw written all over it.
