Harry Redknapp will soon have to make do without the services of Ryan Nelsen, who has agreed to become Toronto's CF head coach, but the New Zealander is available to face is former club.
After completing 90 minutes against West Brom last week, Ji-Sung Park (hamstring) is fit to return to league action, but Jose Bosingwa (back) remains doubtful, as does Junior Hoilett (hamstring).
Andy Johnson (knee) and Bobby Zamora (thigh) both remain long-term absentees at Loftus Road and the Hoops are without Kieron Dyer, after the midfielder was released from his contract this week.
Andre Villas-Boas has no new injury concerns heading into Saturday's lunch-time kick-off.
Benoit Assou-Ekottu made his first appearance since the start of September against Coventry and should be fit to start again, while Gareth Bale returns to league action following suspension.
William Gallas (calf) remains out with the injury he sustained in the club's 4-0 victory over Aston Villa last month but long-term absentee Younes Kaboul (knee) is the only player on the treatment table.

Harry Redknapp would have been a relieved man when he heard that Morocco had opted not to call up his talismanic playmaker to their squad for the Africa Cup of Nations later this month. After a slow start to his Premier League career, Taarabt has finally started to perform consistently in the top flight this season and has been the stand-out performer in a struggling Hoops side. No doubt eager to impress against his former club, Taarabt will need to be at his sparkling best if QPR are to pull off another shock victory.

While QPR have not been weakened by the untimely Africa Cup of Nations, Tottenham undoubtedly have after Emmanuel Adebayor decided during the week that he would represent Togo in this month's competition. His departure has left manager Andre Villas-Boas with only one senior striker to call upon during Adebayor's absence, the pressure is on Jermain Defoe to bang in the goals even more so than normal. Having been linked with a move to QPR after Redknapp's appointment, a manager he has worked under before at three different clubs, Defoe will be hungry to show why his former boss is such a fan.
Despite their shock 1-0 victory over Chelsea in the last league outing, it is hard to see QPR repeating the feat against Tottenham this time around. The Hoops won this fixture last season thanks to a solitary goal from Adel Taarabt against his former club, but have won just once at home in the league so far this season. Spurs in contrast are a team in form, having won five of their last six matches, and their fans will be confident that their record reads six wins from seven come Saturday evening.
