Did not always radiate calm, spilling several tame efforts. Did brilliantly to push Defoe's shot onto the post before getting to his feet and blocking Adebayor's follow-up effort - the first of many telling saves.
A solid performance, he pressured Adebayor well, affording him no time or space. Robust on the deck and commanding in the air. Led his team well, marshalling the back four. Came to his side's rescue with several brave blocks too.
Kept the pace of Bale and Lennon under wraps, and was rarely, if ever, beaten down his flank. Contributed nothing offensively, but was a solid, composed cornerstone at the back.
Largely contained Lennon well, never being bettered down the outside, but was more vulnerable when Spurs' wingers drove infield. Provided an occasionally overlapping threat, and almost found Mackie with a pull-back after surging into the box.
The new head coach of Toronto should perhaps consider hanging up his boots sooner rather than later. Struggled with the pace and movement of Defoe, and looked every bit of his 35 years. Allowed Defoe far too much space to fire a shot against the post via the palms of Cesar.
Sat behind Mbia and Park, sweeping up danger in front of the back four. Conservative, but effective. Clogged the midfield and made life very difficult for Spurs' midfielders.
Was quite reserved, but performed a diligent, disciplined role in front of his defence. Much of the game passed him by though, and despite working hard he never imposed himself on the match.
The ex-Spur looked to be in a vengeful mood against his old club, darting into space, exploiting gaps and threading through-balls in his free role as a false number nine. But he was often a little too selfish, ignoring better placed team-mates in his pursuit of glory, and received little service.
Could have given QPR the lead when he jinked inside the box before firing a shot wide of Lloris' post via the shin of Dawson. An active threat, he also scuffed a shot wide, but could not quite release a shot when played through by Taarabt.
Hounded, pressed and harried Spurs' midfield. Gobbled up loose passes and pounced on heavy touches. Surged forward with aggression and speed too. An all-action, irrepressible, ultra-physical performance from the Cameroonian.
Physical, direct and dogged. Gave Naughton a torrid time down the right flank, competing for every ball. Aided Onuoha, defending extremely well. A tireless, lung-busting shift.
A spectator for much of the game, it was not until the 77th minute that he was forced into a telling contribution, rushing from his line to clear a through-ball aimed at Wright-Phillips.
As classy as ever, cleaning up with consummate simplicity. Progressive and controlled on the ball. Used his pace and awareness to cover for his team-mates. Used the offside trap well.
Struggled to deal with the tenacity of Mackie and was incredibly sloppy in possession. Caught day-dreaming a number of times.
Did not look comfortable with QPR's striker-less formation, generally preferring mano-a-mano duels with burly, fixed centre-forwards. Looked very slow, but made a good block to deny Wright-Phillips. Gave away possession far too cheaply.
Largely solid defensively, though did not show enough attacking intent. Went close with a 20-yard free-kick, which whizzed past the angle of the goal. Occasionally worried by Wright-Phillips.
Never looked to have the beating of Fabio and was not as much of a danger as he has been in recent weeks. More of a threat when cutting infield, but nevertheless largely ineffective. Replaced by Sigurdsson with 10 minutes remaining.
Received little service and rarely rampaged forward with the pace and directness that has characterised him. A peripheral figure, he made little impact on the match.
Really struggled against an aggressive, in-your-face performance from Mbia. Failed to glide past the Cameroonian with his usual ease. Unable to dribble forward, his passing was brought to the fore - and it was found lacking.
Showed his usual tenacity and vigour in midfield before limping off the pitch after 25 minutes. Had been well chaperoned by Park, who had limited his surges forward. Was replaced by Parker.
It was the Togolese striker's last game before heading off to the Africa Cup of Nations, and Spurs fans might have wished he had left a bit earlier. His first touch was frequently heavy, and he missed a number of good chances. Subbed with 20 minutes remaining after an ineffective display.
Much more active and involved than Adebayor, running the channels and linking play. Always a danger from range. Spanked a furious shot against the post via the palms of Cesar in the opening minutes.
Came on for Adebayor with a little over 20 minutes remaining. More selfless and hard-working than Adebayor, linking well with Defoe.
Came on for the injured Sandro after 25 minutes. Tidy and controlled in possession and swept up well in front of the defence. Less frenetic than the man he replaced.
Replaced Lennon with about 10 minutes remaining.
