West Brom are unlikely to have Billy Jones (knee) and Chris Brunt (hamstring) back in the side for QPR's visit to the Hawthorns.

Liam Ridgewell (calf), Steven Reid (hamstring) and Jerome Thomas (knee) have all also been ruled out of Saturday's clash, while Boaz Myhill (wrist) may be a substitute.

QPR defenders Anton Ferdinand and Jose Bosingwa (both hamstring) are set to undergo fitness tests before the game, but Fabio (hamstring) will miss out.

Armand Traore (ankle) also looks a doubt to start for Mark Hughes' side, while Andrew Johnson is still out with a long-term knee injury.

  DID YOU KNOW?
  • West Brom have lost just one Premier League game this season but have won all three of their home matches.
  • Steve Clarke's side have conceded just five league goals this term, a record bettered only by Sunderland and Chelsea.
  • Gaining 11 points from their opening six games has marked West Brom's best-ever start to a Premier League campaign.
  • QPR have only won three times away to the Baggies in all 19 of their encounters at the Hawthorns.
  • The Rs have not won away from home in England's top flight since November 2011, a streak that spans over 16 games.
  • Shaun Wright-Phillips (pictured right) has produced 66 shots on target since joining QPR, but has so far failed to get himself on the scoresheet.

The on-loan attacker has already scored twice in four appearances and has proved a vital part of Steve Clarke's great start at the helm.

His physicality has posed a problem for some of the league's meanest defences and he is likely to have a field day against the Rs.

The 31-year-old has yet to hit the net for the Rs since a summer move from Manchester United, but will need to find form if his new club are to turn things around.

Has an opportunity to do that here and hand his side a first Premier League win on the road this season.
Prediction
West Brom have enjoyed a terrific start to life under Steve Clarke and have a 100% record at the Hawthorns after three games.

Their opponents have still yet to post a win this term and have earned only one point on their travels so far, meaning victory for the Baggies looks likely.
