Brian McDermott has one new injury concern as Welsh forward Hal Robson-Kanu is doubtful (hamstring) after missing the club's last game against Peterborough.
Jason Roberts (calf) is now free of suspension but both he and Jimmy Kebe (hamstring) will be unavailable for the game.
Andre Villas-Boas will have all his transfer deadline day purchases available for the trip to Reading which could mean a first league start of the season for Mousa Dembele, Clint Dempsey and Emmanuel Adebayor.
Scott Parker (achilles) could make the bench against the Royals as he edges closer towards a return to first team action. Younes Kaboul (knee) is still a couple of months away from full fitness whilst Heurelho Gomes (ankle) is still a long-term absentee.

The Reading captain finally made it to the Premier League after plugging away for 10 years in order to make it to the top flight and he was a key member of the side that won the Championship last season making 34 appearances and netting five times.
The former Jamaican international will need to show his attacking flair from the left side whilst providing extra cover to Ian Harte who may be exposed if he operates in advanced positions.

If Tottenham decide to play with Emmanuel Adebayor as the lone striker, Lennon's contribution from the right wing will be crucial. His delivery to the big Togolese forward will need to be accurate and consistent if Spurs are to find the first win.
Ian Harte is also the weak link in the the Royals' back four in terms of pace and mobility and if Lennon can create one-on-one situations against the Irishman then Spurs are in business.
Reading will be looking to give their home fans a first win of the season but expect a much improved performance from Tottenham, who haven't yet clicked early on in the season.
The return of Emmanuel Adebayor provides an extra dimension to the Spurs attack which will allow support to arrive from midfield and Villas-Boas will be hoping this extra goal threat can help his side take all three points from the Madejski.
