Full time! We will settle this on penalties. Zambia draw 0-0 with Côte d'Ivoire in the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations final. Who will have the nerve to dispatch their penalties?
117′
Chance for Côte d'Ivoire! Drogba wins a header and the ball drops to Gradel who miss-kicks the ball when there was an open goal! Mweene dashes out to punch the ball clear!
115′
Ohhhhhhh!!!!!! Rainford Kalaba latches on to a lay-off from Christopher Katongo and rifles a shot on goal that had Barry scrambling! Just wide of the post!
113′
Konan's corner kick goes straight into the side netting. Last ten minutes of the Africa Cup of Nations final will his team-mates piled into the box and he wastes the opportunity to get a good cross in. Really poor.
111′
Last ten minutes now. Penalties are on the horizon. Who has the bottle to claim victory? Or will we see some late drama in extra time?
108′
Neat turn from Bony Wilfired just in front of the box but as he attempted to run forward he was outnumbered Zambia manage to retain possession.
106′
The teams have switched sides and the second half of extra time is underway.
105′ +1
Chansa's attempt at goal goes straight into the wall and Côte d'Ivoire retain possession. That's the last action of the first half of extra time.
104′
Free kick for Zambia in a promising central position after Tiote brings down Christopher Katongo.
101′
Deep cross to the back post from Gradel that Mweene manages to clear. The Zambia goalkeeper has been excellent again tonight.
99′
Passing is getting very laboured now. They players may be too tired to even create chances. It is all extremely cagey at the moment.
97′
You wonder whether Côte d'Ivoire would accept the match going to penalties. Don't forget that they lost their last Africa Cup of Nations final on penalties.
95′
Zambia hit the post!!! Felix Katongo drives down the right and whips a cross to the near post for Christoper Katongo, who turns a shot on goal, but Barry makes a fantastic save with his feets and the ball cannons off the woodwork!
93′
The players already look very tired. Its about mental fatigue as well as physical. This may boil down to who can handle the pressure more.
91′
Extra time is up and running. It has not been the most entertaining final but we will crown a winner this evening. Zambia or Côte d'Ivoire. Who is going to be champions?
90′ +4
End of the 90 minutes. Another half an hour of play in store as Zambia and Cote d'Ivoire draw 0-0 in regular time.
90′ +3
A small break in play at the moment as Gervinho is down injured after colliding with Mweene. This looks like the last action of the second half.
90′ +1
What a chance for Zambia!!! Mayuka gets into the box and looked ready to blast on goal but Kolo Toure was there to come in with a last ditch tackle! Cote d'Ivoire saved!
89′
Extra time beckons. As the game progresses fatigue will start to set in and players are prone to mistakes. Looks like we will have thirty minutes more action.
87′
Cote d'Ivoire almost win it!!! Max Gradel lets the ball come across him inside the box and drags a shot with his left-foot at goal that goes inches by the post! He thought he had scored!
86′
Substitution
Yaya Touré
Wilfried Bony
85′
Third change of the match for Cote d'Ivoire as Yaya Toure comes off to be replaced by Wilfried Bony. The Man City man has also been poor tonight.
83′
Cote d'Ivoire on the ascendancy as we approach the end of the match. You get the feeling there is one more big chance left in the match. Who will it fall to?
81′
Cote d'Ivoire on the counterattack now through Yaya Toure. The ball finds its way to Gervinho on the right but he needlessly gives the ball away. Story of the match.
79′
Mayuka shows electric pace down the left and drives into the box before attempting to set up Katongo with a pass inside but Cote d'Ivoire manage to scramble the ball clear!
77′
You get the feeling we are in for a grandstand finish here. Both sides appear to be playing with slightly more freedom. They want to win in this within the 90 minutes!
75′
Substitution
Didier Zokora
Didier Ya Konan
75′
Fifteen minutes of regular time to go here. Can anyone step up and win the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations for their country?
74′
Substitution
N. Mulenga
Felix Katongo
73′
A couple of changes to report as Felix Katongo replaces Nyambe Mulenga for Zambia and Didier Konan replaces Didier Zokora for Cote d'Ivoire. So the substitute is substituted for Zambia.
70′
Missed Penalty Didier Drogba
70′
And misses!!!!! Didier Drogba misses another penalty in an African Cup of Nations final! He just ballooned it over the bar! Terrible miss!
69′
Yellow Card N. Mulenga
69′
Drogba steps up...
68′
Penalty for Cote d'Ivoire!!! Gervinho drives into the box at high pace and a combination of Chansa and Mulenga bring him down! Massive chance to take the lead here!
67′
Max Gradel drifts pass Nkausu down the left wing and attempts to flick the ball into the path of Drogba from the byline but Sunzu makes the clearance, better from Cote d'Ivoire.
66′
Yellow Card Sol Bamba
66′
Completely wasted by Kalaba. The Zambian attempts to whip the ball into the far corner but it goes high and wide, much to the annoyance of his team-mates.
64′
Free kick for Zambia in a promising position for a foul by Sol Bamba, which earns him a yellow card. Good opportunity to get a quality delivery into the box here.
63′
Substitution
Salomon Kalou
Max-Alain Gradel
63′
Yellow Card Cheikh Tiote
62′
First substitution of the match for Cote d'Ivoire as Salomon Kalou is replaced by Max Gradel. The Chelsea man has been disappointing tonight.
60′
A Zambia corner kick comes in and Tiote heads the ball up in the air. Sinkala rises high at the back post and heads into the danger area but the whistle is blown for a foul on Gosso.
58′
Corner kick for Zambia after Sinkala's long range shot is deflected off Kolo Toure. He had a lot of room in front of the box there.
56′
Free kick for Zambia down the right wing. Kalaba floats a cross in but it is very near Barry, who collects easily. Disappointing delivery.
54′
A real lack of quality in the match at the moment. Dribbles are going out of play and passes are not hitting their mark. Someone needs to inject some pace into the match. One goal could win this.
52′
Zambia happy to let Cote d'Ivoire play the ball around at their own pace. They are nowhere near the goal though so no need for Chipolopolo's to start panicking.
50′
Cote d'Ivoire's big players need to stand up and be counted here. They have not looked as up for the match as Zambia. Still plenty of time to rectify this, though.
48′
Cote d'Ivoire have started the second period with a higher intensity. Gervinho is starting to look very bright down the right-hand side but his delivery has not been on-song as of yet.
46′
Zambia get the second half started. Lets hope we see some more chances being created in the next 45 minutes!
Half time in Libreville. A cagey match so far with not a lot of chances being. Something will have to give whether it be in the second half, extra time, or perhaps penalties. Join us in 15 minutes for the second 45 minutes!
44′
A quiet end to the first half with Cote d'Ivoire continuing to pass the ball around patiently. Zambia looking comfortable, though.
42′
Both sides need to create more if they are going to be crowned champions. It is the defence of both teams who are well on top here.
40′
Cote d'Ivoire are enjoying a period of possession at the moment but it is mostly in the midfield area. They are not having a lot of joy in the final third, which is leaving Drogba with nothing to work with.
38′
Ohhhhh very risky from Mweene! The Zambia goalkeeper dashed from his area to collect a cross at the very edge of the box and grabbed the ball but his momentum looked to have took him out of the penalty area! He is given a massive let-off by the referee.
36′
Drogba clips a pass through to Gervinho who attempt to swivel and shoot at goal but he is very well marked by Sunzu, who shields the ball into the arms of Mweene.
34′
Salomon Kalou whips a cross in from the left-hand side but Zambia clear their lines again. Drogba is not being given a lot to work with here. He is often outnumbered in the penalty area.
32′
Zambia patiently passing the ball along their back line at the moment. They certainly aren't lacking in any confidence.
29′
So close for Cote d'Ivoire!!! Drogba neatly back heels the ball into the path of Yaya Toure inside the box, who attempts to guide the ball into the far corner with a controlled shot but it goes a whisker by the post!
27′
Yaya Toure latches on to a neat knock down by Kalou and attempts a shot from the edge of the box but it is horrible sliced and the ball goes out for a Zambia goal kick.
25′
Another shot on goal from Zambia. Kalaba found a pocket of space just outside the area and attempted to blast a shot into the corner but it was too central and Barry makes the save and clutches the ball to his chest.
23′
Pacey counterattack from Cote d'Ivoire through Gervinho down the right-hand side. The Arsenal forward ran forward and attempted to slip a pass through to Kalou but Zambia clear for a corner kick.
21′
Not a lot of pretty football at the moment. Both teams are struggling slightly to have an extended period of possession. A lot of long balls going forward.
19′
Tiene successfully gets his free kick over the wall but the attempt lacks pace and Mweene easily gathers at his near post.
18′
Free kick to Cote d'Ivoire in a good position after Himoonde brought down Drogba with a late challenge on the edge of the Zambia box.
16′
Cote d'Ivoire just starting to find their feet in the match. Tiote and Zokora are beginning to run the play in midfield. No real chances yet, though.
14′
First real glimpse of Didier Drogba in the match. The Chelsea man picked up the ball in midfield and powerfully ran towards the Zambian goal but is tripped up by Sinkala. Cote d'Ivoire free kick.
12′
Substitution
Joseph Musonda
N. Mulenga
12′
The rain is very heavy in Libreville tonight. The slick surface may favour Cote d'Ivoire, who have a number of players in their team who like to play the ball around on the floor.
10′
Joseph Musonda is going to have to come off. He tried to power through but is limping off now. Very unfortunate for the 34-year-old. He will be replaced by Nyambe Mulenga.
8′
Musonda returns to the action and seems to have shrugged off any injury. A bright start to the match with Zambia looking the most likely to score at the moment.
6′
Nkasau's long throw comes in but Katongo cannot manage to take the ball into his chest and Cote d'Ivoire manage to clear their lines. Zambia still temporarily down to ten men.
4′
A break in play at the moment as Joseph Musonda breaks down with a nasty injury. The Zambian caught his studs in the turf and his knee twisted into an awkward position. He is no off for treatment.
2′
Great save from Barry!!! Zambia come out of the blocks quickly and nearly score through a well worked corner! Kalaba played the ball short into the box and the ball found its way to Sinkala who lashed a shot at goal but the Cote d'Ivoire makes a good save down to his right!
1′
And we are off! Cote d'Ivoire start the game and the African Cup of Nations final is underway!
The pre-match formalities are underway as both national anthems sound out in the stadium. Only a few moments from kick-off now!
Cote d'Ivoire are going for their second African Cup of Nations title, having previously been crowned champions in 1992.
Zambia are going for their very first Africa cup of Nations title this evening. The Chipolopolo's were not amongst the pre-tournament favourites but have knocked out Senegal and Ghana on their way to the final.

The teams are in and this is how Zambia are lining up tonight: Mweene; Nkausu, Sunzu, Himoonde, Musonda; Chansa, Lungu, Sinkala, Kalab; C Katonga, Mayuka.
