Birmingham’s only unavailable player is Stephen Carr but manager Chris Hughton is looking to give some of his fringe players a run out.

Nenad Milijas will sit out the final match of his three-game ban for Wolves, but there is better news with Michael Kightly back from his loan spell at Watford.

Jamie O’Hara is hoping to return to training soon but he is still recovering from a hernia operation and Jody Craddock (hamstring) and Ronald Zubar (knee) are also out.

The 17-year-old became City’s second youngest ever debutant after Trevor Francis when he came on as a substitute in a 3-2 League Cup victory against Rochdale in 2010.

Given the chance in Blues’ final Europa League match of their campaign against Maribor, he was the stand-out performer and his cross was converted by Adam Rooney for the winning goal. Redmond is definitely one to keep an eye out for.

Plucked from Cardiff in 2009, Johnson played every Premier League match for Birmingham in their two seasons in the top flight but after they were relegated he moved to Wolves where he was immediately made captain. How will the home fans take to seeing one of their former star players now plying his trade with a local rival?
Prediction
Both these teams have more pressing matters in the league and Birmingham manager Hughton might want to rest a few players with lots of league matches to come up. Blues have an excellent home record this season and will be desperate to put one over the team which effectively relegated them to the Championship.
