Cristiano Ronaldo was on the scoresheet as Real Madrid beat Los Angeles Galaxy 4-1 at the LA Coliseum on Saturday night.
David Beckham had said Madrid were favourites to win prior to kick-off and he was to be proved overwhelmingly correct as Jose Mourinho's men took a 2-0 lead into the break following goals from Jose Callejon and Joselu.
Kaka fed Callejon following a good run and the former Madrid academy player made no mistake in finishing the chance.
Joselu then doubled their lead eight minutes later as he made the most of a rare David Beckham error to hit the ball home.
Karim Benzema made it 3-0 just before the hour mark after he headed the ball into the net with ease as Madrid continued to make light work of the MLS outfit.
Ronaldo showed no pre-season lag as Real Madrid saved the best until last. The Portugal international blitzed past three defenders before smashing a left-foot strike inside the near post to seal the win.
Adam Christman replied for the hosts following a poor clearance by Adan but the game was already wrapped up for Jose Mourinho's men, who will play Guadalajara on Tuesday night as the continue their tour of North America.
