Villarreal 2-2 Valencia: Late Aduriz strike snatches draw for Unai Emery's side
Jose Molina's inaugural match ended level despite the Yellow Submarine opening up a two goal advantage against Los Che keeping them deep in relegation trouble

A late strike from substitute Aritz Aduriz denied Jose Molina's Villarreal side a win at El Madrigal in La Liga in his first game in charge of the Yellow Submarine.
Marco Ruben and Gonzalo had put the home side two goals ahead before Sofiane Feghouli dragged Valencia back into the tie moments before the break.
Los Che searched for the equaliser in the second half and were rewarded two minutes from time when Aduriz capitalised on a poor clearance, steering the ball into the bottom corner rescuing a point for Unai Emery's side.
Villarreal deservedly took the lead in the 13th minute when Nilmar slipped a pass through to Marco Ruben who was able to take the ball in his stride. The Argentine rode the challenge of Adil Rami before expertly clipping the ball beyond Diego Alves.
And the Yellow Submarine netted their second soon after when Gonzalo was left unmarked allowing him nod to in Borja Valero's delivery.
Villarreal searched for a third goal but Marcos Senna was denied a shot on goal by a vital challenge from Jordi Alba on the edge of the area.
The match threatened to boil over when the referee produced a flurry of yellow cards as players from both teams became frustrated midway through the opening 45 minutes.
With the first-half drawing to a close Miguel delivered a tremendous cross on the volley which found a solitary Feghouli at the far post. He gratefully took the chance to half the deficit.
Cristian Zapata should have restored Villarreal's two-goal lead when he was left unmarked in the six-yard box, moments later, but the Colombian wastefully headed over the bar.
After the break Cani tried a long-range effort which had Diego Alves scampering across the goal managing to turn the ball around the post. Valero and Jonas then had chances for their respective teams only for both players to be denied as the match continued to ebb and flow.
Villarreal streamed forward and Valero tested Diego Alves again with a curling effort, but the keeper was equal to it.
In a repeat of the end of the first half, a momentary lapse in concentration from the Villarreal defence then allowed Aduriz to score from the edge of area; denying the home side, and Jose Molina, all three points.
With Rayo Vallecano and Racing both winning earlier on Sunday Villarreal remain in the drop zone despite a deserved point at El Madrigal, with Molina's side facing Atletico Madrid next.
Valencia will be relieved after snatching a late draw and will look to return to winning ways when they face Sevilla.
