  A couple of nice flicks early on, but was a bit sloppy in his passing. Had a good chance after some great footwork, but could only shoot straight at Al-Habsi. Came into it a bit more in the second half, but skied his only real effort. Was in the right place at the right time though to grab all three points.

  Came close after 26 minutes with a shot that went just wide. Had one header cleared off the line and another acrobatically saved before half-time. Held the ball up well. Picked out a great cross for the eventual winner.

  Played a couple of passes and flicks that gave away the ball in the opening 45 minutes, and the fans let him know about it. Could have squared for Torres late on, but elected to shoot and missed at the front post, with the fans really getting on his back.
