The City goalkeeper had very little to do but stayed alert to respond when called upon. Slightly casual with one save to deny Kelly in the second half but made an excellent late stop off Riise.

Strong, composed display from the City right-back. Never troubled defensively and got the crowd on their feet when he surged forward, skidding a late shot just wide.

Joleon Lescott
Completely dominant in central defensive, bullying the Fulham frontline and showing class on the ball.

Aleksandar Kolarov
The Serbian was a threat in attack as he overlapped and delivered dangerous crosses, including one in the build-up to City's second goal. Still looked suspect defensively and didn't get close enough to Duff or Kelly.

Questions have been raised about whether the Montenegrin is ready to play regularly in the Premier League but he produced a strong display, staying alert to danger and reading the game well.

Adam Johnson
The City winger was constantly involved in the first half and won a soft penalty for his side's opener after hanging his leg out and kicking Baird. Forced the second goal with a first-time cutback that Baird could only divert into his own net. Quiet in the second half but still looked dangerous when he ran directly with the ball.

Gareth Barry
Controlled the game, especially in the first half, as he demanded the ball and started City attacks with precise passing. Also carried a threat in the final third and provided chances for Dzeko and Aguero.

Samir Nasri
The Frenchman was handed a surprising start centrally but produced a tidy display. Worked hard defensively and was efficient on the ball - particularly when he linked up with Silva. Limped off with an apparent groin injury in the 54th minute and was replaced by Milner.

David Silva
Played in a more strictly defined role than he has become accustomed to but was still able to drift in off the left side to influence the game. The Spaniard's vision was a constant threat and he found himself involved in the final third. Clipped the crossbar from close range shortly after fizzing an effort just wide, and should have won a penalty after being brought down by Etuhu.

Edin Dzeko
Scored City's third goal from close range to put the result beyond any doubt. Neat and tidy throughout the game with his back to goal, despite looking rather immobile.

Top of the Match
The Argentine took his Premier League tally for the season to 15 goals with a composed penalty to put City 1-0 up in the 10th minute. Constantly on the move, showing tremendous desire as well as skill to cause problems for the Fulham defenders, highlighted by his wonderful run and pass for Dzeko's goal.

The Australian kept Fulham in the game at times with some sharp reaction saves, particularly in the first half when City completely dominated the game.

Stephen Kelly
Terrible positioning at times as City were able to attack down Fulham's right side with ease. Didn't get close enough to Aguero when the Argentine pulled wide, and didn't do enough to stop City getting to the byline. Looked decent enough going forward and tested Hart with a toe-poked strike.

Flop of the Match
Had a game to forget as he conceded the penalty for the opener and then turned the ball into his own net as City took a 2-0 lead. Never looked comfortable defensively, either at left-back or central defence.

Philippe Senderos
A slow, clumsy performance from the Swiss defender summed up by the reckless challenge on Kolarov that caused the injury which forced him off.

As ever, tidy on the ball when he had time but the Fulham captain struggled to keep up with the crispness of City's passing and was overrun in midfield.

Fizzed an effort wide in the first half to remind everyone that he was on the pitch - but the Irishman produced very little else of note in a virtually anonymous display.

Dickson Etuhu
The central midfielder returned to the club where he started his career but was very poor. Physically imposing but appeared slow to close down City midfielders, while his first touch let him down on more than one occasion.

Worked hard but received very little support from his team-mates on the rare occasions that Fulham were able to launch attacks. Bullied off the ball at times by Lescott and looked frustrated in the closing stages.
