Blackburn 1-2 West Brom: Fans barrack Steve Kean again as Morrison wonder strike and late Odemwingie winner down hosts
Scott Dann's equaliser proved not to be enough after the Nigerian striker's 89th minute effort, with the Rovers' boss once again on the receiving end of criticism at Ewood Park

A late Peter Odemwingie strike sealed a 2-1 victory and a crucial three points for West Brom, making it an unhappy first year anniversary in charge of Blackburn for Steve Kean.
The visitors had the better of a poor first half that ended goalless, however a wonderful volley from James Morrison put Albion ahead only for Scott Dann to draw level with his first goal for Rovers, but Odemwingie's 89th minute strike won the game.
Kean was forced into making two changes to the Blackburn side that was beaten at Sunderland last weekend. Gael Givet was not risked following his heart scare in the first half at the Stadium of Light and Michel Salgado was also absent with a rib injury.
Ruben Rochina and Steven N'Zonzi returned to the Rovers starting line-up, while Morten Gamst Pedersen reverted to left-back in the absence of Givet.
There was just one change for West Brom as Paul Scharner came in for Jerome Thomas, a move which saw Morrison pushed into a wider position in midfield with the Austrian replacing him in the centre of the pitch.
The game began in a rather subdued manner as both sides struggled to create chances and to hold onto possession, with the first opportunity of the game after quarter of an hour coming from the Baggies.
A neat passing move ended with Chris Brunt finding space on the left wing, he delivered a dangerous cross which found Odemwingie, who stole a yard on his marker, but his glancing header was just wide of goal.
Two minutes later the home side had a great chance to take the lead, albeit thanks to a little bit of fortune. Rochina dribbled his way in from the right wing and looked to fire a shot towards goal but scuffed his effort, however the loose ball rolled beyond the Albion defence and Yakubu slid in but couldn’t direct the ball past goalkeeper Ben Foster.
The game was slowly starting to warm up and it was the visitors who looked the more dominant side, with Paul Robinson lucky not to be punished when he fumbled a long range effort from Odemwingie - the former Tottenham man recovering well to push the ball out for a corner.

Foster was properly tested for the first time in the 38th minute from a Pedersen free kick. A dangerous run from Mauro Formica was stopped 20 yards from goal and the Dane sent a powerful strike over the wall but it was easily diverted by the Baggies goalkeeper.
The final chance of the half fell to the visitors and their top scorer Shane Long. Brunt delivered a dangerous cross from the right-hand side into the six yard box, and Long managed to get in front of his man but wasn't able to direct his flicked header goalwards.
The visitors started the second half quickly and created a fantastic chance inside the first five minutes for Scharner. Morrison was released down the right wing, before playing a low ball into the Austrian, but his low shot across goal was just wide of Robinson’s right-hand post.
Three minutes later the deadlock was broken by the visitors through Morrison, with the 1000th Premier League goal of 2011, and the strike certainly justified its prestigious statistic.
An Albion corner was cleared by N'Zonzi but only as far as Morrison on the edge of the penalty area, who nonchalantly volleyed the ball into the bottom corner giving Robinson no chance.
The home side had hardly been in the second half and frustration was beginning to grow when Dann grabbed a crucial equaliser in the 71st minute.
A long free kick from Robinson was met by centre-back Christopher Samba, whose knock down dropped to Dann and the defender poked home to restore parity.
The home side pushed for a winner but both Jason Roberts and David Goodwillie could only fire weakly into the arms of Foster from good openings.
Odemwingie then struck the crucial blow in the final minute of the game. Having brought the ball in from the right-hand side, the Nigerian fired a rasping shot past Robinson to seal all three points for the visitors.
