Solid performance from the keeper who was alert throughout the game, making several impressive blocks. Despite decent spells of possession, Palermo did not test Julio Cesar as often as they should have.
The Brazilian centre-half enjoyed a decent game. He provided strength to the Inter rearguard and was on hand to cover for Ranocchia who drifted out of position on occasion. Last ditch defending at times but he got the job done.
Energetic performance from the Japanese international who will surely be offered a permanent deal at San Siro. He dealt with the threat of Balzaretti well and provided a useful attacking outlet throughout the game.
With Maicon suspended and Nagatomo moved to the right, the Romanian started at left-back. Solid yet unspectacular performance from the former Roma man. Made several good tackles but struggled to get forward.
Weakest link in the Inter back line. He looked shaky, particularly during the first-half when he was drawn out of position too easily by Pastore and co. Improved a little in the second period but was still prone to a lapse in concentration.
The veteran is still going strong for Inter and performed well against Palermo. He tracked back as often as he could and showed an impressive array of passes. Still working hard late on and was involved in the third Inter goal.
Efficient performance from the tough tackling midfielder who despite a sluggish start, helped Inter keep the ball well. He kept his passing simple and helped keep the likes of Pastore fairly quiet.
Not a brilliant game from the Serbian who was inconsistent tonight. Stankovic made some decent tackles at times but wasted possession on several occasions, especially with poor efforts at goal.
Impressive performance from the playmaker, who shrugged off injury to take his place on the pitch. He was involved in the majority of Inter's best attacking play and provided a superb assist for Eto'o to score.
Constant threat for Leonardo's men upfront. Was a willing runner throughout and made both of his goals look so simple. Still one of the best strikers in world football.
Quiet game for the former Sampdoria man. He struggled to get involved in proceedings and did not have a shot on goal all evening. Substituted for Pandev with half hour to go.
Unlucky for both goals, which were both expertly taken by Eto'o. He did make a few quality saves to keep his side in the game.
The attacking full-back played well this evening, always looking to get forward as his pace and clever footwork created several opportunities.
The highly sought after full-back displayed his attacking capability this evening especially in the first half. Inter's lack of a winger allowed him to bomb forward regularly so he was left untested defensively for large parts of the game.
Struggled to cope with the power of Eto'o in particularly broke free of the defender's grasp far too easily. His positioning was poor but he did do well to grab a consolation for his side. Stupidly got himself sent off.
Desperately unlucky to pick up a knock early on and be replaced after 25 minutes. Looked solid during his time on the pitch.

Lively match from the youngster, who was involved with his side's best attacking play. His pace and trickery troubled the Inter back line, even if he did fade out of the game late on.
Poor game from the young Ghanaian who failed to cope with the likes of Sneijder. With his side a goal down, he was sacrificed for Miccoli early in the second-half.
The midfielder worked hard but was outclassed by the Inter midfield who were able to keep hold of the ball too easily at times.
Failed to provide adequate cover for his defence, allowing Sneijder to roam forward at will. He did do well getting forward but his defensive work suffered as a result.
The young Uruguayan had a frustrating evening. His movement was top notch but his team-mates struggled to spot his runs. He had a few half-chances but could not find a breakthrough.

Brought on for the final stages and did well to get on the scoresheet, taking full advantage of Palermo's tiring defence.
Replaced Pazzini in the second period and was an instant improvement. He was willing to come deep and run at defenders which scared the opposition's back line.

The centre-half made an unexpected appearance when Goian was injured early on. Despite an encouraging start, his position left a lot to be desired, especially for Inter's second goal.
