Full-time!! A good win for Craig Levein's men. They deserved the win with top performances from Barry Bannan, Goodwille and Fletcher despite the penalty miss. This will keep the hopes of the Scotland fans who still feel they have a chance of finishing in that second spot behind the World Cup winners Spain.
90′ +1
Lithuania pumping the ball into the final third of the pitch, but Scotland's tiring legs are keeping them out. The ball goes out for a Scottish throwing and they are running down the timer.
90′
The 4th official announces 3 minutes added time as Scotland continue to protect their 1-0 lead and hope not to fall to the same fate as against Czech Republic on the weekend.
89′
Lithuania pushing hard for the equalizer, as they find their way into the right hand side of the Scottish box, but Berra covers well and the ball comes off of the Lithuanian striker for a goal kick.
88′
Novikovas as a speculative shot from the right wing, the ball curls over McGregor and is not to far away from the Scottish keepers top left hand corner.
87′
McGregor does well to save from a header from far out which seemed to be looping over him. He goes route one to Goodwille, who passes to Cowie who fails to capitalize on the counter attack.
86′
Bannan goes off, the winger has been one of the stars tonight running up and down the wings. The Tartan Army give him a standing ovation as he is replaced by Robert Snodgrass.
84′
Substitution
Barry Bannan
Robert Snodgrass
82′
Yellow Card Graham Dorrans
82′
Luckily for Scotland, the free-kick comes to nothing.
81′
Caldwell gives another free-kick away in a dangerous area, the Scot's enthusiasm is hindering him today, he didn't need to give that one away.
79′
Substitution
James Morrison
Graham Dorrans
77′
Substitution
Saulius Mikoliunas
Ričardas Beniušis
75′
McGregor drops an easy catch from a Lithuanian cross, but manages to react quickly enough to collect the ball. Is the keeper showing nerves in the final moments of the match?
74′
A flurry of attacks ensue as Goodwille does well to get behind the defence to swing in a ball to Naismith. His header hits Cesnauskis's arm, but there was no intent and another penalty is avoided. Then Bannan gets hold of the ball and puts another ball onto the head of Naismith again but his effort goes high.
70′
Substitution
Phil Bardsley
Stephen Crainey
70′
Bardsley goes off, he has impressed going forward but being replaced by Crainey will sure up the Scottish defence hopefully.
65′
Yellow Card Deyvidas Semberas
65′
A strong run into the box from the striker Goodwillie who is stopped by Lithuania's last defender.
64′
Deividas Semberas comes in late on Bardsley and receives a yellow card for the poorly time tackle.
61′
Substitution
Tadas Kijanskas
Tomas Danilevicius
61′
A quick break from Lithuania down the left creates the chance for an opportunity for Arvydas Novikovas whose shot/cross takes a deflection and draws a good reaction save from McGregor.
59′
Bannan again creates a good attack, who passes to Morrison on the edge of the box. The midfielder turns and shots from the right hand side of the box, but it is right at the keeper who collects the ball.
53′
Caldwell brings down Sernas on the edge of the box, he concedes the free-kick and is lucky not to be punished further. Lithuania's effort from the dead-ball is poor and does not trouble McGregor.
50′
Goal Steven Naismith
50′
Goal!!!! Bannan and Naismith combo again. The ball is worked onto the right and side with Bannan who puts a ball into the box, and Naismith latches on to the ball with a half-volley from about 12-yards from goal. They deserved that.1-0
49′
Lithuania's attempt at goal is seen wide of the left hand post by McGregor.
48′
Pressure is on for Scotland as Lithuania mount an attack, Bardsley commits a foul to stop the attack about 22 yards out.
46′
Substitution
Tadas Labukas
Arvidas Novikovas
46′
Arvydas Novikovas takes the place of Tadas Labukas on the pitch for Lithuania.
45′
Scotland get the second half started, they will hope to continue their dominance and get on the score sheet.
Lithuanian defender Zaliukus has been impressive in the middle of their defence and have kept the keeper Karcemarskas relatively quiet considering the extent of the Scotland attack. Although the Hampden Park faithful may look back to Spain's game against Lithuania which stayed goalless until late in the second half. They do tend to suffer from fatigue.
Barry Bannan is leading the attack for Scotland, all threat from Scotland seems to be going through the Aston Villa man. He is linking up with Phil Bardsley and Steven Naismith well, although his final ball has sometimes been lacking.
Half-time. The whistle blows. Scotland will be disappointed not to go into the break ahead of Lithuania especially with Fletcher's penalty miss at the tail end on the half
45′
Missed Penalty Darren Fletcher

Penalty save Žydrūnas Karčemarskas
44′
Yellow Card Tadas Labukas

43′
Penalty!!! Handball in the area from Tadas Labukas and the player is yellow carded.
42′
Phil Bardsley has a powerful shot, but it flies straight past the face of Karcemarskas's goal.
40′
Fletcher makes a storming run beating the offside trap and shoots but the goal keeper turns the ball round the post well. I'm not sure if the shot was the right choice.
38′
Bannan again drills in another cross into Naismith, who meets the ball with a diving header, but the ball is directed right into the grasp of the Lituanian keeper.
36′
Scotland are keeping the ball well and attacking, but even with all of the possession they have only really troubled Karcemarskas once. Bannan seems to be the heart of Scotland today, but Lithuania's defender Zaliukus is a commanding presence dealing with everything thrown at him so far.
31′
Bannan is lining up a freekick from about 5 yards outside of the box, but after the ball bounces round the box it goes out for a goal kick.
29′
Goodwillie again finds himself in a good position but Zaliukus makes a clean lunge and dispossess the Scottish striker.
28′
Scotland again exploit the Lithuanian defence as Bannan comes inside his marker to hit a long ball into Goodwille who fails to collect a difficult ball.
24′
Bannan cuts across the field from the right hand side of the pitch, but the final shot from distance is never really troubling the keeper. Scotland with all the possession at the minute.
18′
Naismith directs a long ball, with his head, into the feet of Goodwille who helps it on to Don Cowie who fails to keeps his shot down and sees his shot go over the Lithuanian goal.
16′
Nothing comes from the corner as the Lithuanian defender does well to clear the ball on the half-volley.
15′
An incisive pass from Fletcher to Goodwille nearly runs loose, but Goodwille does well to earn a corner from a ball he never really had possession of.
14′
Scotland are having all of the possession, looking for a way through this Lithuanian defence early on.
5′
On only his second start in for his national side David Goodwille is nearly through on goal but Marius Zaliukas covers well and stops the Blackburn striker progressing.
4′
Naismith is found in the box by Barry Bannan, but the Scot is unable to make a strong enough connection.
2′
A confident start from some of the Scottish players are encouraging the already loud Scotland fans.
1′
