FULL-TIME!!!! WHAT A REMARKABLE RESULT!!!!! Fully deserved from the Steve Bruce's side. That's Chelsea first defeat at home for eight months. Sunderland move up into sixth above rivals Newcastle. Arsenal will be happiest of all today as they have gained points on all their tital rivals this weekend. CHelsea remain top but by only two points. What an unbelievable result but full marks go to Sunderland.
Sunderland still pour forward as Richardson is released by Henderson but his effort is well wide.
We are well into the four minutes of injury time.
Substitution Lee Cattermole C. Riveros
Substitution Danny Welbeck Ahmed El Mohamady
Danny Welbeck is replaced by Ahmed El Mohamady. great all-round performance from the winger. He thoroughly deserves his standing ovation. Impressive stuff.
Goal Danny Welbeck
GOAL!!! AND IT GOES FROM BAD TO WORSE FOR CHELSEA AS DANNY WELBECK CAPS A BRILLIANT DISPLAY WITH A TAP IN!!!! Ashley Cole will want the ground to open up and swallow him. He is put under pressure on the Chelsea left and overhits his back pass straight to Welbeck who taps in past a stranded Petr Cech. 3-0 and it's thoroughly deserved for the boys in red and white. Steve Bruce is in Dreamland. Who would have thought this scoreline a few weeks ago when Sunderland were destroyed 5-1 by Newcastle.
The fans are pouring out of Stamford Bridge. Sunderland are holding their own and limiting Chelsea to long range shots. Anelka's ahot from 25-yards flies over and Craig Gordan is not troubled.
Just over five minutes to go plus stoppage time. there are some nervous Sunderland fans within a subdued Stamford Bridge.
Substitution Asamoah Gyan Steed Malbranque
The game is slightly delayed at the moment as Asamoah Gyan is down. His afternoon is over and what a contribution. The goalscorer is being replaced by Steed Malbranque.
John Terry might not be playing today but even he is feeling the frustration of his side's performance as he is involved in a heated discussion with the fourth official on the Chelsea bench.
Goalscorer Nedum Onuoha goes on another forward run and collects a square ball inside the area, but his shot takes a big deflection and flies onto the roof of the champion's net.
Sunderland are knocking the ball around the Stamford Bridge pitch magnificently and are getting 'Oles' from the small pocket of travelling fans. Keiron Richardson attempts an ambitious long range shot but it flies wide.
Substitution Yuri Zhirkov Gäel Kakuta
Chelsea make their final switch as Gael kakuta replaces Yury Zhirkov.
Just under 20 minutes left for the Blues to spring a comeback.
Didier Drogba spins away from his marker in the Sunderland penalty area but he is adjudged to have controlled the cross with his hand. Free-kick to the Black Cats.
Substitution Ramires Josh McEachran
Chelsea pile balls into the box but Craig Gordon stands firm against a onslaught from the home side. Ramires is replaced by Josh McEachron.
Danny Welbeck, who has impressed with his pace and trickery in front of the watching Fabio Capello, crosses from the right and Boudewijn Zenden latches onto it and gets a shot away but Petr Cech saves easily.
Can Chelsea do anything to turn this around and avoid their first league defeat at home since February? Doesn't look like they can at the moment. Sunderland holding out well.
Yellow Card Titus Bramble
Sunderland not resting on their laurels here and pour forward once again. The lively Danny Welbeck plays in a low venemous cross in from the left and two Sunderland players fail to get a touch as the ball flies past the far post. Any slight touch and it was 3-0.
Substitution Florent Malouda Salomon Kalou
Didier Drogba once again is causing Sunderland problems and tries to get up above Phil Bardsley at the back post, but he's been adjudged to have fouled the former Manchester United full-back. Chelsea make a change, with Florent Malouda making way for Salomon Kalou. The home fans don't seem to happy about it.
Didier Drogba is doing his best to get Chelsea back into this but his shot is tame and straight into the arms of Craig Gordan.
It might be 2-0 but remember what happened at Villa Park yesterday. A game of football in the Premier League is never over until it's over but can Sunderland hols on for their first victory against Chelsea since March 2001?
Assist Jordan Henderson
Goal Asamoah Gyan
GOOAAALLL!!!! AND SUNDERLAND MAKE IT TWO!!!! Asamoah Gyan is the coolest man in Stamford Bridge as he slots past Petr Cech.It all comes from Danny Welbeck who finds Jordan Henderson and he slips a pass in to Gyan and the rest is history. The Black Cats have opened up Chelsea all afternoon and fully deserve their 2-0 lead.
Enormous pressure from Chelsea at the moment but Sunderland players are throwing themselves at shots. Titus Bramble blocks from Didier Drogba's shot and then Jordan Henderson throws himself in front of Florent Malouda.
James Daly reports from Stamford Bridge: A frustrated cheer welcomed the home players back to the pitch and Ancelotti looks to be about to make an early change with Soloman Kalou sent out to warm up down the touchline.
Ramires is caught in possession once again in a dangerous position but Welbeck's ambitious shot curls wide.
James Daly reports from Stamford Bridge that Soloman Kalou is being prepared as the visitors look to turn it around at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea get us underway for the second-half....
HALF-TIME AT THE BRIDGE!!!! The boos ring around this famous old ground but you have to give credit to Sunderland, they have played out of their skins and bar a stunning performance fromCech could find themselves two or three up.
Goal Nedum Onuoha
GOOOOAAAALLLL!!!! UNBELIEVABLE GOAL BY FULL-BACK NEDUM ONUOHA!! 1-0 SUNDERLAND!!! You can't say it wasn't coming. From the previous passage of play the ball falls to Nedum Onuoha who embarks on a 35-yard mazy run in and out of the Chelsea defenders before slotting a cool finish past the impressive Cech. What a goal from the player on-loan from Manchester City.
Sunderland really on top and are the better team against the champions. Gyan is through on goal and his shot from the edge of the area is pushed away by Cech only as far as Danny Welbeck but the Czech keeper pulls off another remarkable save.
Yellow Card Branislav Ivanovic
Chelsea really luck to be level here and could also be down to 10-men. Ramires switches of and gives the ball away and the Black Cats break quickly in numbers. The ball is played forward into the space behind the Chelsea defence and Branislav Ivanovic brings down the lively Danny Welbeck, who would have been one on one with Cech again. Chris Foy brandishes the yellow card to Ivanovic. The defender was lucky there as Welbeck's pace would have took him through on goal and it is debatable whether a covering defender would have got round to avert the danger.
The visitors are really troubling the champions at the moment and Danny Welbeck finds himself in acres of space and bearing down on Petr Cech but once again the keeper stands tall and beats away the shot. Two world class saves in the space of a couple of minutes.
That's the mark of a top goalkeeper. Virtually untested all afternoon but when he is called upon he makes a world class save. Sunderland work a beautiful move ending with Nedum Onuoha's teasing cross from the right and Danny Welbeck's towering header towards the bottom corner but it is clawed away from the bottom left-hand corner by a diving Petr Cech.
Drogba once again stands over a free-kick, a little bit further out than the last one. He steps up and strikes it cleanly but Craig Gordan deal with the effort easily.
Chelsea steam forward and Ashley Cole is the firthest player forward for the Blues but Zhirkov's poor touch gives the ball away and Gyan and Sunderland break. The striker looks for Welbeck but the Englishman mistimes his run and is flagged for off-side.
Half an hour gone and it's still 0-0.
Yellow Card Michael Turner
Michael Turner has been walking a tight rope all afternoon and finally gets his name in the book after bringing down Drogba on the edge of the area. Drogba is up straight away and stands over the ball. This is well within his range.....JUST OVER!!!! The striker goes for power and the ball flick off Onuha and over the bar. Corner to Chelsea but Sunderland clear the danger.
Sunderland fans will be ecstatic with this start so far. Last season they were 3-0 down by the same point.
Sunderland clear another corner but only as far as Ramires on the edge of the box who attemps a remarkable header which nearly loops in, but Gordan manges to keep it out. The keeper was caught off guard by that attempt.
Chelsea really coming intot his now and have a corner which is taken from the right by Florent Malouda. Ivanovic manages to get his head to it but is being man handled by Michael Turner. if the referee catches that he would have no option but to give a penalty. Dangerous game from Turner.
Glorious chance for Zhirkov as he dances his way through two defenders and is baring down on goal, but sbatches at his shot and pulls it wide. Couple of let-offs for the visitors.
Sunderland pressing really high up the field and John Obi Mikel recieves the ball from Petr Cech on the edge of his own box and is immediately under pressure from Danny Welbeck. But Chelsea get out of that hole and turn defence into attack in the blink of an eye. Mikel plays a glorious through ball to ANelka but Craig Gordan is quickly off his line and gets their befor the Frenchman.
The Chelsea fans are now getting into full voice but still no clear cut chances for either side in a cagey opening.
Fairly even in the opening ten minutes. Chelsea have a corner swung in by Florent Malouda and Didier Drogba nearly gets on the end of it but Michael Turner makes the clearance.
Sunderland break forward and Asamoah Gyan picks the ball up on the ede of the area but his shot goes high over the crossbar.
Not a bad start for the visitors but Chelsea have set out their intentions with Ashley Cole and Bosingwa well ahead of the ball and joining the attack as soon as they can.
Sunderland could have some joy today in the air with Paulo Ferreira playing at centre-back. Turner wins a header which nearly falls to Asamoah Gyan but in the end rolls into the hands of Petr Cech.
Chelsea straight into the groove with some slick pass passing and movement. Sunderland will have to get a bit tighter to Chelsea's forward players if they are to halt their poor record at Stamford Bridge.
Chris Foy blows the whistle and we are off....
Rapturous applause reets the end of an immaculately held silence. Here we go Sunderland to get us underway.
Referee Chris Foy calls the player together and the whole ground marks a minutes silence for all those who lost their lives in war time.
Special greetings today as both sets of players are introduced to members of the Chelsea Pensioners on Rembrance Sunday.
The teams are on their way out. Not long until kick-off now.

The Italian also praises his team for the narrow win over Fulham in midweek: "We created good chances to score and also defended well, especially in the last 10 minutes." He'll be wanting more of the same today.
Terry mises out after suffereing an injury in training on Saturday and it certainly makes him a doubt for England on Wednesday night. League leaders Chelsea will be hoping to set a club record of 10 consecutive clean sheets in the league at Stamford Bridge without their influential captain.
From James Daly at Stamford Bridge: Despite his accrimonious sacking on Thursday the giant poster of Ray Wilkins still adorns the wall outside Chelsea's East Stand. His contribution on and off the pitch will surely not be forgotten by Blues fans, especially if they romp to another Premier League title this season. They welcome Sunderland on a wet west London afternoon without stalwarts Frank Lampard and John Terry but still the ground is buzzing with confidence.
And here are today's line-ups: Chelsea: Cech; Bosingwa, Cole, Ivanovic, Ferreira; Mikel, Ramires, Zhirkov; Malouda, Drogba (C), Anelka. Subs: Turnbull, Kalou, van Aanholt, Bruma, Kakuta, McEachran, Sala. Sunderland: Gordon; Onuoha, Bardsley, Turner, Bramble; Richardson, Zenden, Henderson, Cattermole (C), Welbeck; Gyan.
