Player Ratings: Everton 2-2 West Ham United

Could have done very little about Spector's goal with the American given far too much space in the Toffees' box. Communicated well with Heitinga and Distin.

Led by example and played with visible experience. Vocal, fired-up and an unerring ability to spot West Ham’s next ball, this was a fine performance from the veteran. Looked a little tired when the pace picked up however.

Marshalled from the back and caught West Ham's front two in the offside trap on numerous occasions. Incredibly organised from the Dutchman but he was nowhere to be seen for Spector's goal.

Appeared utterly impenetrable at times. Marauding forward on the counter attack and never rushed by West Ham’s forward duo, this was a cool, calm and collected performance from the French powerhouse.

Dangerous with his distribution from dead balls and as always, a huge threat down the left, Baines was top class going forward Everton, consistently delivering crosses into the danger area. Out of position at the back too often.

A growing list of plaudits is richly deserved for Coleman and it looks set to continue expanding. The essence of hard work, the young Irishman delivered for the Toffees yet again and nearly got a winner after an unbelievable strike with 10 minutes remaining. A little rusty with his final touch, the youngster is raw but the talent is there for all to see.

A sloppy performance by the £15 million man, failing to anchor the Everton midfield as West Ham counter attacked at will. Got the late equaliser but was poor today.

A tidy performance from Osman if a little lacking in inspiration. Never let the game pass him by but was hardly pivotal in the Everton midfield.

Showed some moments of real magic, turning Mark Noble early on with a nonchalance befitting a young striker who, despite low on goals, is clearly high on confidence and loving his football at the moment. Unlucky to be substituted with 20 minutes remaining.

Should possibly have scored in the opening exchanges but was unlucky to be brought off at half-time for Louis Saha. Offered somewhat of a threat but finishing is still clearly an issue.

Was kept busy by the hosts but responded manfully. Under a barrage of Leighton Baines crosses, the England 'keeper stuck to his task and wasn't intimidated by the constant presence of Victor Anichebe. Could have done nothing about Bilyaletdinov's equaliser.

Rarely ventured forward and failed to offer an alternative down the flank to his midfield. His failure to do so contributed towards West Ham looking painfully one dimensional at times. Was left a little isolated down the channel from time to time so was understandably cautious.

Defended superbly alongside Upson as Everton desperately threw everything at the visitors in the second half. Hardly comfortable but very convincing.

Sloppy with his distribution from the back, Upson's wayward passes stunted the visitors' potential to maintain any sustained period of possession. Defensively sublime however, did well to cut out a dangerous through ball from Anichebe early on and met every header that came his way.

After a horror derby last week, Wayne Bridge won’t have been looking forward to facing Seamus Coleman at Goodison Park. Lacking a little in match fitness after making the Eastland’s bench his own, the ex-Chelsea man did however show glimpses of his defensive nous. Could turn out to be a fine signing.

Lacked experience at vital times, being caught by Everton's effective offside trap far too often. Stretched the play well with some instinctive movement, with the youngster showing some real promise when he found himself in possession

Scored his first ever Premier League goal and very nearly turned provider minutes later, delivering a fine ball for Freddie Piquionne to nod onto the post. Spector was bright, dangerous and exploited space left by a marauding Leighton Baines. A superb effort from the American.

Should have scored in the opening 10 minutes but was a threat to Everton down the centre of the park, interchanging neatly with the irrepressible Parker. Committed, as ever, from the young 'Eastender'.

It may have been said before but Scott Parker is a very important player in this West Ham side and will be vital if the club are to stay up. Hassled and harried the Everton midfield and found the killer ball on more than one occasion, you can’t question his commitment to the Hammers’ cause.

Typically full of pace and verve, the ever-dangerous winger often failed to match his threat down the flank with consistent deliveries to his strikers but always looked able to carve out an opening and did so superbly to set up Jonathan Spector to break the deadlock. Great speed and awareness from the Portuguese wide man.
