Calm and confident between the sticks for Blackpool. Made a number of strong saves which would have given the back four confidence. The errant shooting of the United strike partnership aided him too.
Got himself on the scoresheet against his former side with a powerful header. Paired up well with Ian Evatt to repel United's attacking weapons.
Was beaten a number of times by the sheer speed of Nani but made up for it with effort and determination.
Is forging a partnership with Cathcart which is getting better with every game.
Was content up against Gibson who had a poor game. Was made to work however, when Ryan Giggs entered the game.
Played the deep-lying playmaker role fantastically well. Truly is the pivot of the Blackpool side. The Seasiders could be a completely different side if he were to be sold.
Would have pleased Holloway as he was always willing to muck in and get his hands dirty. Credit to his team.
Saw a shot fly high over the bar in the 25th minute and never really got comfortable in the game.
Was shackled by Fletcher in the middle and never got a chance to play his natural game. Brought off for Harewood.
Bagged a great goal to give the Blackpool a massive lift before the half but faded as the game went on.
Was on an island for much of the night and never saw much of the ball. Was always looking for the run to make but the game generally passed him by. Brought off for Matt Phillips.

Could have done more perhaps with the Blackpool goals but his defenders shouldn't have allowed such space to develop.
Was involved in a number of attacking moves and was always willing to get stuck into the tackle.
Positioning was questionable as Blackpool sliced open the defence on more than one occasion, would have expected more from such a seasoned pro.
Questions will be asked about the two goals conceded. Needed to show more awareness of what was going on around him.
Tireless in the engine room of the United ship. Always relied upon to hassle the opposition.
Worked hard but had little to show for it. He used his speed to good effect however and will continue to be an asset in the future.
Was absent for much of the game, but setup the winner late on. Had a decent long-range shot saved on 63 minutes.
Made little impact on the game, scant supply to Berbatov and Rooney. Was replaced after the half by Ryan Giggs.
Had a very poor game by his high standards. Never got into his stride and will forget his trip to the seaside quickly. He was replaced with Chicharito after 65 minutes.
Struggled in the first half but gave United the lifeline needed when he tucked away his 19th and 20th goals of the season and clinched all three points.

Showed his class when brought on and caused Eardley a number of issues. Made the difference when required.
Was brought on to calm things down once United grabbed the equaliser.
Had a chance to get United back into the game on 70 minutes when he was one on one with Kingson, his placed shot beat the 'keeper but was hacked way by Cathcart. Made up for it shortly after to level things up.
