The goalkeeper was hardly tested in the first half as both sides struggled to create any chances.
Created a great chance for Cleverley in the opening minutes of the game and looked comfortable going forward although the pace of Brunt gave him something to think about.
Not a great game for the Wigan captain who was substituted after 17 minutes with a suspected thigh injury.
The central defender had a solid game, he picked up the runners from midfield on West Brom attacks and supported his central defensive partners in handling Odemwingie. He could have had a goal in the first half but he put his free header wide of the post.
The defender returned to the side in the left back position and looked comfortable with his defensive duties but lacked the creativity in attack.
A solid performance in front of the Wigan back four giving them protection from the runs of Morrison and Scharner.
Had a quiet first half, he struggled to keep possession and was unable to find the right passes for Rodallega to thrive on. He was replaced by Moses at half time
The midfielder could have scored in the opening five minutes but couldn't turn his shot goalwards from a tight angle. He linked up play nicely in midfield and looked to deliver dangerous balls into the path of Rodallega.
Strong in the middle of the pitch, he won tackles and had a battle with Mulumbu throughout the match.
Had a quiet first half but should have opened the scoring in the fifth minute when he was played in by Rodallega. Came to life more in the second half and linked up well with Moses and Cleverley. Created Moses' goal through excellent control and vision.
The striker worked hard throughout the match and very nearly created a chance for N'Zogbia in the first half. Chances were hard to come by though
Was kept busy by Wigan's strikers but dealt with everything they threw at him well.
Playing at full back Reid had a good game against the lively N'Zogbia and Cleverley. His pace enabled him to keep up with the Wigan midfielders and deny them the chance to feed Rodallega.
Alongside Jara he looked comfortable against Rodallega and rarely gave the striker a chance on goal.
Had a good first half but was consistenly tested by Moses in the second half and he struggled against the youngster's pace and creativity.
Will have felt he could have contributed more but he didn't have a bad game, he looked comfortable in possession and looked to create chances for Odemwingie. Was replaced by Simon Cox in the 73rd minute.
A good display from the former Wigan man in the middle of the park but he failed to make too much of an impact against Thomas and Diame. He was replaced by Barnes in the 67th minute.
A tough tackling performance from the midfielder sitting in front of the defence but he was kept busy by the runs of Cleverley, N'Zogbia and Moses.
The left winger was West Brom's liveliest player but he struggled to create too much for his side. He sent a couple of dangerous crosses into the penalty area and had a free-kick deflected wide but otherwise failed to test Al Habsi.
Very quick and a constant threat to the Wigan defence, he made excellent runs behind the defenders and could have created a couple of goals on a better day.

Replaced his brother Gary in the 17th minute and was given a tough time by Peter Odemwingie. He was booked in the first half and was lucky not to receive a second for a challenge on the Nigerian in the 54th minute.

Had a great impact on the game after his introduction at half time, he gave Wigan much more going forward with his direct runs and low crosses. Made an excellent run to get alongside N'Zogbia before firing the ball into the net for the game's only goal.

Replaced Rodallega in the 77th minute and should have doubled the home side's lead but missed an open goal from seven yards
