Chelsea just keeping possession-Fabregas is running himself into the ground chasing the ball but he's really just chasing shadows.

Howl of pain from Ivanovic as he is caught by Arshavin. Looks in pain but manfully gets up straight away with a grimace

Sagna fires a long range effort miles wide of Cech's goal.

86′
Goal Didier Drogba

85′
GOAL!!! FANTASTIC GOAL BY DROGBA! Fires in a wonderful freekick past Almunia which leaves the Spaniard grasping at thin air. Brilliant by the Ivorian who once again proves himself Arsenal's nemesis.

84′
Essien once again outmuscles Fabregas who resorts to fouling the Ghanaian who is been one of Chelsea's finest performers today.

83′
Walcott gets half a yard, but his cross is too high and drifts beyond Cech's goal for a goalkick.

81′
Game is really entering a lull period. Chelsea are shutting down Arsenal's attacks seemingly before they can enter the Chelsea half.

78′
Chelsea are starting to look comfortable here. Arsenal are struggling to maintain either possession or any attacking momentum. Chelsea's defence has been immense.

76′
Lampard very nearly breaks through, thwarted by a combination of Vermaelen, Gallas and Almunia as breaks into the box.

75′
Nasty collision involving Denilson and Drogba. Both are gingerly getting up.

73′
Tomas Rosicky again plays a wonderful throughball to an Arsenal teammate. Walcott is the recipient and as he skips into the penalty area, he takes a second too long which sees the advantage slip. His pass is then overhit to Arshavin.

64′
Vela called offside, close call after Walcott lifts a ball into the Chelsea penalty area.

63′
CLOSE! Drogba picks the ball up on the edge of the Arsenal box. His shot is deflected first of Traore and then of Lampard, forcing Almunia into a decent full length stop.

61′
Header from Fabregas is straight at Cech.

60′
Naughty challenge from Ivanovic-clips Arshavin from behind to concede a freekick.

59′
Arsenal threaten to break, but a mix up involving Nasri and Fabregas sees Joe Cole steal the ball.

57′
The anxiety levels at the Emirates are clearly rising. Plenty of possession but little cutting edge from Arsenal-then Denilson wastes a pass and the crowd howls with derision.

57′
Substitution Eduardo Carlos Vela

55′
What a challenge by John Terry. Arshavin's pass is nigh on perfect for Eduardo but Terry's sliding challenge thwarts the Croat. If if he'd been a second later it would have been a penalty-brilliant.

53′
Arsenal are really applying the pressure, but Cech has still not been overly tested

52′
Lampard has clearly been commissioned to double up on Walcott with Ashley Cole-the midfielder once again comes back to thwart the winger.

51′
Chelsea threaten to break with Carvalho, but Traore outpaces the centre half and cuts out the threat

49′
First glimpse of Walcott, he beats Ashley Cole to the ball but is crowded out by a combination of Lampard and Cole.

47′
Didier Drogba places a horrendous backpass to Cech, Eduardo intercepts but Cech tackles him, the ball runs to Arshavin. He takes too long to shoot, and is challenged. The ball comes to Nasri, whose ball in is, half claimed by Cech. Eduardo kicks the ball, from his grasp and the ref blows, Arshavin then fires the rebound in-but the goal doesn't stand. Arsenal look livid.

46′
Substitution Alexandre Song Theo Walcott

46′
Half chance for Eduardo, but he takes a touch too many and loses the ball in the box.

45′
We're underway for the second half.

Theo Walcott is coming on for Arsenal-Alex Song is coming off-attacking switch from Arsenal. Chelsea are the same.

45′ +2
HALF TIME! Big half for Chelsea in the title race-two late goals have possibly put this match beyond Arsenal. See you in fifteen.

45′
Half chance for Arshavin. But his shot is excellently blocked by Essien.

45′
Own Goal Thomas Vermaelen

44′
GOAL!!! Another one from Chelsea. Ashley Cole again, wonderful low cross evades Gallas and deflects off Thomas Vermaelen into the net. Huge moment.

41′
Goal Didier Drogba

40′
GOAL!!!! Goal for Chelsea-big goal in the title race here!! Fantastic pass by John Terry puts in Ashley Cole down the left, his low cross finds Drogba in the box and the Ivorian finishes confidently off the angle of post and bar. Big goal.

37′
Yellow Card Didier Drogba

37′
Half chance for Drogba, Chelsea keep the ball excellently with Lampard, Ashley Cole and Joe Cole combining well. Cole skips away from Vermaelen and delivers a cross in which finds Drogba unmarked but his header goes wide.

35′
Drogba gets a booking for a late, rather crude challenge on Vermaelen which looks like it really hurt the Belgian.

34′
Nasri looks like he has a real chance as Sagna's high cross is headed on by Arshavin to the Frenchman, but Arshavin is pulled up for what looks a slightly harsh foul on Ivanovic.

33′
Alex Song gets caught the wrong side of the ball as Drogba breaks. He tries to play in Joe Cole who is breaking from midfield, but his pass is over hit.

31′
Joe Cole takes down Nasri, and much to the chagrin of the Arsenal players escapes a booking.

Offside call on Eduardo-after Nasri tries to break through three challenges and the ball ricochets to the Croat.

Poor play from Traore when facing his own goal as he tries to outpace Ivanovic, loses possession and then concedes a freekick and earns himself a yellow card.

22′
Nasri gets free on the edge of the penalty area, but his low shot is straight at Cech.

20′
Freekick from Lampard is hoisted in, and Gallas and Vermaelen combine to head the ball behind for a corner.

19′
Arsenal come back, neat interchange involving Fabregas and Eduardo puts the Spaniard away. His low cross is flicked goalwards by Nasri, but is immediately blocked by two Chelsea defenders.

17′
OOOH close from Anelka. Manages to beat the offside trap, and get in behind Sagna. As he shapes to shoot Gallas tackles him to deflect the ball out, though Anelka looked like he was being pulled back by Sagna.

16′
Arsenal have started the stronger, which is probably to be expected as the home team. Chelsea are struggling to keep possession.

15′
Halfhearted penalty appeals from Arsenal, Eduardo and Fabregas combine to play in Nasri. As his cross is floated in, Fabregas goes down but the referee waves the appeals away-Terry doesn't look impressed.

13′
First hint of a threat from Chelsea. Joe Cole skips away from Denilson and plays in Drogba who is marginally offside.

12′
Fabregas breaks from midfield, and plays in Eduardo but with only Carvalho to beat the Croat miscontrols

10′
Freekick for Arsenal. Mikel chops down Fabregas after the Spaniard craftily nicks it away from the midfielder.

8′
Essien sets down a marker for this match with a strong muscular shrug on Fabregas-the Ghanaian looks in dominant form.

6′
Half chance for Eduardo as he manages to escape Terry momentarily and is baring down on goal, but the England captain manages to get back and stop the Croat.

5′
Collision between Eduardo and Essien-both down on the pitch though both look like they'll survive.

4′
Chelsea break with Ivanovic, but his low cross is cut out by Gallas with Drogba lurking

3′
First hint of a chance, Sagna's high cross is backheeled back into the Chelsea box. But Fabregas is crowded out and tamely toe pokes the ball goalwards for Cech to claim.

2′
Big early challenge by ex-Chelsea man William Gallas on Didier Drogba-Gallas won it.

The first boos for Ashley Cole-could be a long afternoon for him.

Chelsea get us underway

And for those among us who are keen to know these things, the last time these two sides met Arsenal were humbled 4-1 by Chelsea, then managed by Guus Hiddink and that match was at the Emirates. Interestingly, Carlo Ancelotti's last match against Arsenal was a 2-0 defeat at the San Siro against Arsenal in the Champions League second round.

These teams are two of the highest scorers in the League, Arsenal are the highest scorers while Chelsea have the meanest defence.

Meanwhile Chelsea welcome back Frank Lampard, with Ashley Cole, Joe Cole and Michael Essien also returning in place of Zhirkov, Malouda, Deco and Ballack.

So to recap, Arsenal have injury-doubts Gallas and Arshavin in their line-up, while Armand Traore comes in for his second consecutive appearance replacing the injured Kieran Gibbs. And Eduardo returns in place of Carlos Vela.

Next it's Chelsea: Cech, Ivanovic, Carvalho, Terry, Ashley Cole, Mikel, Essien, Lampard, Joe Cole, Anelka, Drogba. Substitutes are: Hilario, Ballack, Malouda, Zhirkov, Paulo Ferreira, Deco, Kalou.

Here's the team news. Firstly here's Arsenal: Almunia, Sagna, Gallas, Vermaelen, Traore, Fabregas, Song, Denilson, Nasri, Eduardo, Arshavin. Substitutes are: Fabianski, Rosicky, Vela, Walcott, Ramsey, Silvestre, Eboue.

Good afternoon all, and welcome to what promises to be a fantastic match between two of the Premier League title chasers, Arsenal and Chelsea. Plus it's a London derby to boot. My name's Alex Stamp and I'll be talking you through all of today's action live from the Emirates Stadium.
