Next up for United is Rio Ferdinand's testimonial match against Sevilla on Friday before they take on Wigan in the Community Shield on Sunday.
Here's one last update from Goal's Julian Bennetts: "Pretty much done here. A draw a fair result, though United had chances towards the end to win it. Now we all have to work out a way to ask - and get a response - about Rooney."
FULL-TIME. AIK 1-1 Manchester United. Moyes side come from behind to draw as they look to step up their fitness levels ahead of the new season. AIK took the lead through a stunning goal from Quaison before Henriquez netted to get United level.
Smalling again does well to come across and clear the ball with AIK looking to grab a winning goal in stoppage time.
Bebe plays three crosses into the box in quick time but fails to pick out a team-mate and AIK break up the other end.
Van Persie with another chance. Evra passes it to Bebe who plays an impressive ball to Van Persie who can only head the ball straight into the arms of Carlgren.
Excellent piece of defending by Vidic who clears the ball behind for a corner which AIK fail to call Amos into action.
Substitution Noah Sundberg Niklas Backman
Carrick take a free-kick early and finds Welbeck but the striker fails to gather the ball and it Carlgren picks up the ball at the second attempt. Bebe then hits a cross into the box but fails to pick out a team-mate.
Rafael overhits looks to launch the ball upfront but his effort flies over Van Persie and straight to Carlgren.
Scramble in the box and United push for a winner. Bebe's cross is met by the head of Henriquez and Anderson looks to get a touch pass the goalkeeper but fails to connect properly. Anderson, Welbeck and Van Persie were all trying to score there.
Substitution Danny Welbeck Wilfried Zaha
Almost a chance for United. Carrick plays it to Van Persie who takes a couple of touches before trying to pick out Anderson with a pass over his head but the ball is overhit and is gathered by Carlgren.
Substitution Bebe Ryan Giggs
Giggs' corner is met by Van Persie who connects well with his header but his effort flies narrowly wide of the post. That was nearly a second goal for United.
Both sides are pushing for a late goal with United looking the most likeliest at the moment.
Substitution Anton Salétros Ibrahim Moro
Good defending by Chris Smalling. The ex-Fulham man follows Goitom out and plays the ball off the striker and out for a goal kick.
Substitution Henok Goitom Martin Mutumba
Henriquez almost grabs another goal. Yey again he finds himself in a dangerous area in the box but he gets the ball stuck under his feet and AIK just about cling on.
Goal Ángelo Henríquez
GOAL!!! 1-1! It's that man Henriquez. Van Persie's long-range free-kick is blocked but Michael Carrick does well to bend a ball out wide to Zaha, who shows plenty of composure to find Henriquez in space right infront of goal and the Chilean grabs himself a goal.
Henriquez is again in the thick of the action. This time he bursts in the box and just as he is about to ready himself for a shot, substitute goalkeeper Patrik Carlgren just about gets a touch on the ball.
Giggs plays the ball slightly behind Van Persie but he does well to improvise and backhill the ball to Zaha but AIK just about clear it away.
Henriquez makes another run forward and Giggs looks to pick out his team-mate but the attack is thwarted by the linesman's flag.
Vidic tries to find Henriquez with a long-range pass but the gets intercepted. Henriquez has been solid since coming on and replacing Nani.
Substitution Edward Owusu Robin Quaison
Substitution Sam Lundholm Nabil Bahoui
Here's a view on AIK from Goal's man in the ground Julian Bennetts."A frankly ridiculous finish from Robin Quaison. He turned Vidic extremely easily and from 25 yards found the top corner. Nothing Lindegaard could do about that, a brilliant hit. United have only won two of their five pre-season friendlies to date."
Just over a third of the match left and Moyes will be frustrated with the way things have gone so far. His side find themselves a goal down and have lost Nani and Evans through injury.
Bahoui lines up a free-kick from long-range and unleashes a fasping effort which has Amos scrambling across his goal and the ball goes narrowly wide.
Substitution Chris Smalling Jonny Evans
United hit the woodwork. Giggs takes the resulting corner and Vidic rises well and heads the ball into the ground and it bounces up and onto the bar. The Red Devils captain was so close to getting his side level.
United look to get themselves level with Henriquez doing well to get himself into a crossing position but his effort is blocked behind for a corner.
Looks like another injury problem for United with Evans moving uncomfortably at the moment.
Goal Robin Quaison
GOAL!!! 1-0 AIK! The hosts take the lead in dramatic fashion. Robin Quaison with a fantastic goal. The strikers first touch takes him past Vidic and he finds himself in plenty of space before unleashing superb bending effort past a helpless Lindegaard. That was a cracking goal!
Slow start to the second half. United have dominated the early stages of possesion but most of it has come inside their own half.
Substitution Martin Olof Lorentzson Alexander Milosevic
Substitution R. Persson Celso Borges
Substitution Ben Amos Anders Lindegaard
The referee blows his whistle to get us back underway as Manchester United look to win the first of their three matches inside a week.
Another update from Bennetts."Half-time 0-0. Even enough actually, and if anything AIK had better chances. RVP should have scored but impressive stuff from Nani (until he was injured) and Lindegaard in particular. Anderson has been making some good breaks from midfield but United fairly quiet apart from that."
Here's another update courtesy of Julian Bennetts and if you were wondering why there were so many empty seats, he's got the answer: "Tickets were &£50 for the meeting with the Premier League champions and though they dropped the prices yesterday, that wasn't enough to get the fans in. AIK supporters were handing out leaflets protesting at the game as they are in the middle of their domestic season and, with two months left, are just two points off the top of the table. With tickets far more expensive than normal they see this as a distraction they could do without. Tickets for last weekend's Final of the Women's Euro 2013 were just £15 and it was packed."
Half-time. AIK 0-0 Manchester United. The referee blow his whislte and brings an end to an entertaining, but goalless first half of football. United have played some neat football but have so far failed to find the back of the net.
The speed of the game has eased off a little bit as we head towards the half time break.
Goal's Julian Bennetts is inside the stadium in Stockholm this evening and has provided an update: "AIK are playing pretty well - Rafael in particular is being given a fairly tough ride by Kennedy Igboananike and Martin Kayongo-Mutumba, who are switching wings and whose names are contributing to me using copy and paste a lot so far this evening. Both goalkeepers have made good saves but the Nani injury was strange - no-one saw him go down or pull up, but he just sloped off to the bench. Odd."
Another chance for AIK and once again if falls to Mutumbu, but after some excellent initial play, he fires his effort narrowly over the target.
Carrick finds Angelo Henriquez inside the area with a clever ball and the forward takes a decent first touch before being halted by the linesman's flag. Replays show thatg was harsh decision.
Zaha finds himself in plenty of space has times to measure a ball into the box but he can only hit the first defender with his cross. Decent chance to find Van Persie missed.
AIK's dangerman Mutumba again looks to get himself on the scoresheet. This time he picks the ball up before drilling a shot at the near post which Lindegaard does well to push behind for a corner.
Carrick intercepts the ball in a dangerous area and the ball almost drops to Van Persie but the ball is cleared just in time.
The match has been played at a blistering pace so far with United looking to get themselves infront and AIK keen to play break when they receive the ball.
Substitution Ángelo Henríquez Nani
Big disapointment for Nani as he's forced off through injury. He looks to have suffered some sort of a muscle injury. Real shame for the winger as he looks to establish himself under Moyes.
Van Persie picks out Evra before bursting into the box to be picked out by the left-back but his instinctive effort is superbly saved by Stamatopoulos.
AIK almost break the deadlock. Mutumbu evades a last-ditch tackle from Rafael and is clean through on goal but Lindegaard does well to just about keep the ball out.
Rafael gets forward well and bends a cross into the area but Alexander Milosevic just about clears with Van Persie lerking behind.
Zaha plays the ball to Van Persie in a wide position and last season's top scorer in the Premier League attempts to find some space in the area with Ryan Giggs waiting for a cross but he gets crowded out.
The impressive Nani drives into the area before going down under a tackle. The referee waves play on and the ball drops to Van Persie who fires a low shot which Stamatopoulos does well to get a hand to and keep his side level.
Anderson plays a smart one-two with Nani before picking out Van Persie in the area but the forward is crowded out by Niklas Backman.
Van Persie comes agonisingly close to putting United infront. The ex-Arsenal man receives the ball inside the box and cuts in before unleashing a bending effort which flies narrowly wide of Kiriakos Stamatopoulos's post.
Martin Mutumba does well to get the better of Rafael but after cutting in, fails to connect properly with his shot and the ball is gathered down low by Lindegaard.
Denfensive duo Patrice Evra and Johnny Evans both rise to try and get on the end of a corner get themselves on the scoresheet but end up getting in each others way and the fall flies over.
Anderson picks out Van Persie who plays a superb ball with the outside of his boot to Zaha who finds himself in plenty of space. The ex-Crystal Palace tries to find Van Persie in the middle of the box but the ball is just about scrambled away.
Birthday boy Robin van Persie tries to create a chance for himself by cutting inside the defender and into the box but gets croweded out and the ball gets cleared.
United play themselves into trouble with AIK regaining the ball and passing it around well. Nabil Bahoui gathers the ball and fizzes the ball just wide of Anders Lindegaard's post.
Fantastic chance for Zaha to get on the scoresheet! Anderson passes it to Nani who has switched flanks. The winger then cuts the ball back to his fellow wideman who can only drag his effort well wide of the target.
Nice piece of skill by Nani who plays the ball through to Patrice Evra but the left-back fails to pick out a team-mate with his cross. Bright start by United.
Almost the first chance of the match. Rafael tries a ball over the top of the AIK defence it Robin van Persie but the ball just about bounces through to the goalkeeper.
And we're off underway with Manchester United kicking off.
Both sets of players are in the tunnel and about to come out onto the pitch. Not long now until we get going.
AIK currently sit third in the table in Sweden and are in an excellent spell of recent form - winning 8 and drawing 2 of their last 10 competitive matches.
Manchester United starting XI: Lindegaard; Rafael, Evans, Vidic, Evra; Nani, Carrick, Anderson, Zaha; Giggs, Van Persie
David Moyes has named a strong team including starts for Nemanja Vidic and Nani. While Robin van Persie starts upfront.
The Red Devils continue to be in the headlines with the future of Wayne Rooney still coming under intense scrutiny. Chelsea recently had a second bid, thought to be in the region of £30million rejected. Rooney was all set to take part in today's game before pulling out through injury.
Hello and welcome to Goal's play-by-play commentary of Manchester United's latest pre-season match against AIK. The match is the first of three inside a week for the club, with Rio Ferdinand's testimonial game against Sevilla to come on Friday and the Community Shield against Wigan at Wembley on Sunday.
