Togo aren't giving up on this, but the Burkina Faso defence continue to impress as Koulibaly again denies his striking counterparts.
There are to be three minutes of added time at the end of the second half of extra time.
Togo showing no signs of slowing as a ball is pumped into the Burkina Faso box, looking for Adebayor. Diakite claims the ball well, but is caught by a flailing Adebayor hand and play stops briefly.
Dagano is played in behind the Togo defence and with the ball bouncing, goes for goal with a speculative effort from distance, only to smash his effort over the bar.
Togo win a free kick deep inside their own half. They need to pump this upfield and dig a goal out from somewhere as Adebayor heads onto Segbefia. However, Kone does well to shepherd the ball out, but lands awkwardly. He's OK to carry on.
Adebayor is beginning to tire and it's evident as he again fails to instigate a Togo attack.

Adebayor again involved, this time he looks to turn provider for Gakpe, only to see his threaded pass blocked and Burkina Faso clear.
Adebayor is played in and brings the ball down exceptionally well and flicks the ball over Koffi before realising the official has his flag raised on the near side.
Wome delivers a corner from the right hand side, but his cross to the near post is defended well and Burkina Faso secure a goal kick, despite replays showing it should've been a corner.
Adebayor heads on for Gakpe to run onto. However, he falls under the pressure of Koffi and Burkina Faso clear.

Kabore's corner picks out Pitroipa unmarked at the near post. He heads against the bar and into the back of the net with Amassa in no mans land.
Burkina Faso are now only 15 minutes away from a place in the semi final of the Africa Cup of Nations.
Good play from Pitroipa forces a corner off Akakpo. Good chance for Burkina Faso to nick a goal late at the end of the first half of extra time. Amassa misjudges the cross and Nibombe heads behind for a second corner.
At the other end, Adebayor strides into the 18 yard box and forces an inch perfect challenge from Koulibaly to deny the Togo frontman.
Akakpo's clearance is sliced into the air as Dagano looks to get underneath it, but Bossou is on hand to head clear.
Mamah pushes forward and receives the ball in space on the right. He crosses into the box, with Adebayor the target, only for Koulibaly to head clear from danger.
Traore picks up the ball on the left and drives his low effort goalbound, but it's a good height for Amassa and the Togo goalkeeper holds on to prevent the goal.
Traore looks to play in Nakoulma, but his pass is poor and Togo clear.

Togo have a free kick on the right of the penalty box and it's a good opportunity to deliver. Nibombe is the target at the near post, but Burkina Faso can clear.
It's Burkina Faso who have started the brighter of the two teams at the beginning of extra time as they probe the Togo backline.
Amewou wins Togo a free kick and it's a decent opportunity to deliver the ball to box. Djene crosses, but it's easily gathered by Diakite.

Romao looks to play in Gakpe on the left, but an exquisite clearance from Koffi ensures the attack breaks down.
The two teams are now ready and it's Togo that get us underway at the beginning of extra time.

Just over minute to go and Burkina Faso win a free kick on the edge of the box. However, Kabore's cross has too much on it and the ball rolls for a throw in, regardless of the best efforts by Kone.
And there is to be three minutes of added time at the end of the 90 as Segbefia wins Togo a free kick. Romao delivers, but Burkina Faso can clear.
Panandetiguiri breaks down the left and delivers to the back post, but his cross is headed behind for a corner. However, the ball into the box is headed clear by Adebayor.
Only three minutes left of normal time to go and we're looking all but set for extra time here.
Good counter attacking play by Burkina Faso as the ball is played into Sanou on the edge of the box. He goes for goal, but sees his effort blocked and Togo can clear.
Nakoulma is fed through down the left. He cuts onto this right foot before cutting again onto his left. His touch is heavy, however, and he puts the ball out of play for a goal kick.
Some good play outside the Burkina Faso 18 yard box and the ball is lofted through to Gakpe. He puts in a first time cross, but there is nobody there to get onto the end of the ball.
At the other end, Adebayor does brilliantly to bring the ball down and charges past Koulibaly and Kone. He drives down the right before firing at goal. Diakite, however, narrows the angle and pulls out a fine stop to deny the Togo striker.
Moments later, Pirtoipa looks to flick the ball over Agassa, but can't quite lift the ball over the Togo 'keeper and it remains 0-0.
Huge decision here at the Mbombela Stadium. Nakoulma appears to have been fouled in the 18 yard box, but the referee waves play on. Replays show it looked to have been a penalty.
Free kick to Togo is pumped into the box. Adebayor knocks down for substitute Segbefia, who powers his effort at goal but blasts over the ball. Great opportunity to net the first goal.
A Burkina Faso free kick in a dangerous area as Sanou plays across the 18 yard box for Kabore. He controls, but his effort is always rising and goes for a goal kick.
Ayite wins a free kick. The initial cross is poor into the box, but the linesman has his flag up for an offside at the far post.
Midway through the second half and the game has certainly slowed. Very tight encounter between the two sides.

At the other end, Bossou is picked out from a Togo corner and perhaps should've done better with his header. However, he flashes his effort wide, despite being unmarked.
Kabore takes a corner short, linking up with Kone to open up the angles, but his cross is easily dealt with by the Togo backline.
Just over an hour gone of this quarter final encounter and it's Burkina Faso who are the stronger of the two teams. However, Togo are threatening on the counter and could've taken the lead through Adebayor just after half time.
Some good attacking play by Togo through Gakpe and Adebayor sees Akakpo with the ball and he goes for goal from distance. His effort, however, is blocked and Burkina Faso can clear.
Koffi manages to fire a drilled cross towards the penalty spot after some good build up play, but his ball is too close to Agassa and he easily holds to ease the pressure.
Dagano does well to hold up the ball, despite Kabore looking to shoot. The Burkina Faso man pulls back to Sanou, but the Togo defence clear the danger.
A fairly open start to the second half this evening at the Mbombela Stadium as both teams look to secure a place in the last semi final spot.
Nibombe concedes a free kick for a foul on Kabore. He has to be careful not to pick up a second booking here.
The Burkina Faso defence hesitate on the ball before Kabore is fouled and wins a free kick to help alleviate the pressure.
Superb run Ayite as he surges across field. He plays the ball into Adebayor, who feeds into Gakpe. He crosses for the Spurs striker into the box and he heads past Diakite with the ball destined for the back of the net, only for Panandetiguiri to hook clear off the line.
The two teams are out and Burkina Faso get is underway for the second half. No changes for either side.
And that's half time here at the Mbombela Stadium and it's all square. Both sides have had their chances, but it remains goalless.

Gakpe has been particularly impressive for Togo this half. He breaks on the left and picks out Adebayor in the middle of the park. His frees up Amewou, but his drive at goal flies over and out of play.
Adebayor surges into the 18 yard box as he looks to give Togo the initiative heading into the break. However, his run is tracked by Kone and the striker is ushered out and the ball goes for a goal kick. Very good defending.

A little over five minutes of the half remaining and it's Togo who are looking the stronger of the two sides leading into half time.
Ayite plays a clever one-two with Gakpe on the left and if the latter had been more aware, he'd have had a decent opportunity to deliver a ball across goal. However, he isn't on his toes and the ball is cleared for a corner.
Ouattara is fed through on the left hand side of the box and manages to deliver a half volleyed cross into the area. Agassa watches the ball the whole way, however, and comes out to collect and hold well.

Kabore delivers from 35 yards out, but it's headed clear comfortably.
Kone wins a free kick in a dangerous position after being fouled by Gakpe.
Gakpe picks up the ball on the right side and runs at the Togo defence, but Koulibaly is on hand to smash the ball out of play for a throw in.
Sanou scuffs his effort across goal and the ball bounces around the 18 yard box before Togo can clear.
Ouattara is picked out at the back post, but the Burkina Faso midfielder can only divert his header across the face of goal for a Togo goal kick.
Adebayor forces a corner off Koulibaly with Gakpe to deliver. His delivery is poor, however, and Burkina Faso easily clear.
Togo look to launch a rapid counter attack as Adebayor picks out Mamah on the right. He pushes forward and looks to cross, but he slips moments before his ball into the box and it ends in a goal kick for Burkina Faso.
Kabore launches a speculative effort from distance following some good Burkina Faso pressure, but he gets right underneath the ball and flies out for a Togo free kick.
Adebayor looks to feed into Gakpe as he breaks through the Burkina Faso backline, yet good defending from Kone sees Burkina Faso clear.

Free kick for Burkina Faso is pumped up pitch, but Togo are able to see the ball out of play and they win a throw in.
Great chance for Togo as Gakpe finds space on the right. He breaks to the byline and pulls back for Ayite. However, the ball is caught up in the poor turf and his shot bounces comfortably into the hands of Diakite.
Pitroipa cuts onto his left foot and drives for goal from the edge of the box, only to see his shot blocked and Togo clear.
Kabore breaks forward down the left and looks to pick out Sanou at the back post. His cross, however, is too powerful and the ball goes for a goal kick.
Akakpo goes for goal from distance, but his shot is swerving wide and poses no threat to Diakite's goal.
Gakpe whips in a freekick, but Burkina Faso's defenders outnumber their opponents, allowing them to clear easily. It's going to be a tough game for Adebayor, he might have to drop quite deep to find space.
Burkina Faso look to be playing five at the back, with Adebayor looking rather isolated in amongst the sea of opponents. Neither side have really carved out a clear chance yet, it's been a slow start.
Togo put together their first meaningful passage of play, with Adebayor being heavily involved, as he's the focal point of the team. He'll definitely be at the hub of any positive result from today's game for the Togolese.
Koffi and Pitroipa look dangerous for Burkina Faso, the latter is particularly tricky and definitely will cause Djene some problems tonight.
Burkina Faso have begun the brightest! They look a little more focused and direct in possession than their opposition, and have held the ball well thus far.
Oooh! Agassi holds a long range Koffi strike well, as the Burkina Faso man rips out a venomous effort! Great strike!
Adebayor has a very positive first involvement, driving at the Burkina Faso defence effectively. He's definitely Togo's key man and threat!
The game has very much been stop-start so far. Fouls and injuries have plagued the first couple of minutes, cagey stuff to begin with.
