"30 minutes to go until kick-off and the atmosphere is already amazing," reports Tim Rohn at Wembley. "Both groups of fans are singing songs to rile the others but everything is peaceful. Jurgen Klopp stood for a few minutes alone at the centre circle and let all the Wembley madness have an effect on him."

Well, we asked you good folk a little earlier who you thought would be the star of this final. We asked it in poll form so as to be all scientific - and the results have just popped out of our internet test-tube for your perusal. Who's the official Goal Readers' Man to Watch?

Meanwhile, in the Bayern Munich camp, CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge is feeling positive but has warned his side that they must avoid "arrogance" as they go into the game as favourites. "We are desperate to win the trophy," he told reporters on Friday. More from him (and a magnificent photo) below...

"The one to watch tonight will be Marco Reus," opines @EbilsQuiet on Twitter. "He's usually the killer you failed to notice in games like this."

On the other hand, you've got people like Arjen Robben - the killer you do notice but still can't stop. So many matchwinners!

Could Robert Lewandowski's goals be key for Borussia Dortmund tonight? A hat-trick would take him ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo in the Golden Boot stakes for this season's competition but he insists that the Portuguese is welcome to that prize if BVB can win the trophy.

So, Kevin Grosskreutz: The right man to come in for Mario Gotze for coach Jurgen Klopp? I asked Twitter...

"He has no other choice," says @Engr_goroye.

"A very bad decision," replies @Zeeshank_11.

So, in the absence of Mario Gotze, it's Kevin Grosskreutz who comes in on the left as Marco Reus moves into the No.10 role for Borussia Dortmund. Nuri Sahin will have to settle for the bench, then, with Ilkay Gundogan staying in his customary deeper position.

Bayern Munich, meanwhile, are as scarily strong as ever. What do you make of the line-ups? Tweet me!

One of those men is Jay Jaffa, who's out and about among the fans outside Wembley. One of the people to whom he's been speaking is this extraordinary man here.

"I've just had a chat with a man called Helmut outside the stadium," Jay reports. "As you will see from the attached photo, Helmut arrived here by bicycle.

"He said: 'It took me 10 days. I didn't see the sun once, it was raining, powerful winds, horrible, but I made it. I rode 554 miles to get here but ... I don't have a ticket'. Ouch! I feel for Helmut - he looks absolutely drained and I reckon he was relying on the gift of charity as his way in but, alas, it is yet to find him."

THE FORGOTTEN MAN

This night, the occasion, all of it could have been about the genius of Mario Gotze.

The Borussia Dortmund midfielder, arguably their best player at the tender age of 19, has agreed to join Bayern Munich and has since been ruled out of tonight's showpiece with an 'injury'.

He says he made the decision to cross the divide because the Bavarian's said it's 'now or never' and he couldn't pass up the chance to play under Pep. He's next professional kick of a football will be in a Bayern shirt.

Personally, the whole episode is such a shame. He would have graced tonight's encounter.

Great quiff, too.

It's believed to be this fella's last ever game as a manager today, hence the tears.

He hasn't absolutely confirmed he's going to quit the game, but Pep Guardiola's arrival at the Allianz Arena seems like the end for old Juppy.

He was sacked after winning the Champions League with Real Madrid in 1998 and could once again lose his job after claiming the game's ultimate club prize. Bonkers.
