Thanks for reading, everyone, and we're sorry if your team took a beating today. There were quite a few who did.
Until next time, take care!
Goal Chief Correspondent Wayne Veysey says:
'I think Sherwood has just written his resignation letter but.... most compelling & honest post-match managerial interview of the season.'
Greg Stobart agrees:
'Sherwood hit the heart of the problem in his interview: a stunning lack of character. Hence so many thrashings this season #THFC'
But reader Jos Bacon says:
'Sherwood should walk out if he thinks that. In fact he should never have accepted the Spurs coaching job. Timmy lacks character.'
BN Tamara, however, jokes:
'Hahahahaha this guy is just so real, I like him LOL'
Tim Sherwood is not happy.
"You can't legislate for the capitulation - you can't have that," he told Sky Sports. Lack of characters, too many of them too nice to each other and you need to show a bit more guts and not want to be someone's mate all the time. They need to drag it out of each other.
"It hurts me and I won't forget about this when we hit the motorway - but some might.
"It's not a penalty and not a sending off but the game was finished after that. We've got the Europa League on Thursday and we owe the fans a performance. We let them down again on the big occasion. You won't finish in the top four if you don't beat top teams. You're miles away unless you beat the top teams.
"There have been too many blips. The club talks about fourth, wake up."
Here's a delighted Chelsea captain John Terry speaking to Sky Sports after that 4-0 win:
"It wasn't easy in the first half - they played very well. They had a plan to stop us playing out from the back but the manager changed it at half time and we were much better in the second half.
"He said a little bit more than last week but it worked a treat and we had the response as well. In the second half we came out and pushed on."
Chelsea 4-0 Tottenham
Chelsea 4-0 Tottenham
Check this tweet out from Chelsea's official twitter account:

'Tim Sherwood will be disappointed with the manner in which we've scored all four goals, his face on the bench says it all #CFCLive'
"Chelsea had barely bothered to take advantage of their extra man - so Tottenham have gifted the hosts two more goals. First Sandro falls over the ball to allow Demba Ba to steer through Hugo Lloris’ legs before Kyle Walker heads straight to the striker, allowing him to round Lloris and roll into an empty net for his second."
THEN... CHELSEA (BA) 4-0 TOTTENHAM!
Chelsea 2-0 Tottenham
