STATS ROUND-UP

Our good friends at Opta have put together a stats round-up from today’s match at the Liberty Stadium. Suggestion: Get Leonardo Ulloa out of your fantasy teams...

- Ulloa has failed to score or attempt a single shot in his last four Premier League appearances

- Bony is now Swansea’s joint-top goalscorer in Premier League history, level with Michu (20)

- Sigurdsson has had a hand in eight goals (seven assists, one goal) in nine PL appearances this season

AS THINGS STAND

An important three points for Swansea, then, and this win ends a winless run of five games and moves them above Liverpool and Manchester United and into sixth. As for Leicester, they remain without a win since putting five past United and drop to 16th.

SWANSEA 2-0 LEICESTER - CAMBIASSO MISSES!

How has he missed??? Esteban Cmbiasso reacts to a Lukasz Fabianski save but can only bundle the ball against the post. It then rebounds straight to him but, with the ball a matter of centimetres from going over the line, Fabianski somehow gets to it before the Argentine to palm to safety. Cambiasso is all smiles but he knows he should have scored.

SWANSEA 2-0 LEICESTER - SUBSTITUTIONS

Swansea have thrown leads away this season but they don’t look like doing it today. Garry Monk’s side should see this out and bring on Bafetimbi Gomis and Nathan Dyer in place of two-goal Wilfried Bony and Wayne Routledge for the final eight minutes.

REAL MADRID 3-1 BARCELONA - PIQUE REACTION

Gerard Pique to Canal plus: "We had control and chances. There was a penalty and we have to analyse it because I can't hide my hand. The game changed after it. Madrid have very fast players, the result is fair... We played well for 30 minutes, we must improve, the season is very long."

REAL MADRID 3-1 BARCELONA - REACTION

Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos: "Football is divided in stages and we knew when to attack and when to maintain the possession of the ball. Barcelona are not used to playing without the ball and this hurts them. We knew how to use this against them."

SWANSEA 2-0 LEICESTER - TRIPLE CHANGE

Yowzers. You don’t see these too often. Leicester manager Nigel Pearson is going for it and has replaced Dean Hammond, Danny Drinkwater and Jamie Vardy with Andy King, Esteban Cambiasso and Matty James. And now it looks like captain Wes Morgan is injured...

SWANSEA 2-0 LEICESTER - WHAT A HIT!

Jonjo Shelvey rattles the crossbar! The midfielder has no right to take a shot on from nearly 30 yards out but goes for it anyway. It beats Kasper Schmeichel but cannons back off the bar. Incredible strike.

REAL MADRID 3-1 BARCELONA - SUMMARY

Martin Macdonald reports: “Barcelona made the perfect start as Luis Suarez gained his first La Liga assist to set up Neymar just five minutes in to make it 1-0. The remainder of the first half saw Real Madrid claw themselves back into contention and they eventually equalised through a Cristiano Ronaldo penalty.

"The second period belonged to Los Blancos as they went on to score two more through Pepe and Karim Benzema. Carlo Ancelotti's men are just one point behind their Clasico rivals in the league now!”

SWANSEA 2-0 LEICESTER - BONY GOAL

GOAL: Swansea make it 2-0 and it's Wilfried Bony again! Gylfi Sigurdsson and Jefferson Montero play a wonderful one-two before the Ecuadorian sends a lovely cross into the path of Bony, who is easily able to fire the ball into the net from the edge of the six-yard box.

REAL MADRID 3-1 BARCELONA

If anything, it looks like Real Madrid are more likely to grab another on the counter. They've been attacking at such pace all match. One final change for Madrid: Alvaro Arbeloa on for Luka Modric.
