Jesse Lingard is a wanted man given the likelihood Pedro will sign for Manchester United, and now Newcastle have joined Bristol City in the race for the England Under-21 international, according to ESPN.

New Magpies boss Steve McClaren worked with the midfielder during a loan spell at Derby County last season.

Barcelona boss Luis Enrique has spoken to the press today, and had this to say on Pedro's future: "Pedro is a hig-level player and as a coach I want him to stay here, but is his decision. There only be exits if someone wants to leave and at the moment we don't have news about this."
