That, my transfer buddies, is all for today. Thanks very much for checking by. We'll be back right here at 09:00 BST on Saturday to bring you more updates from what will (hopefully) be a busier day in the transfer window. Cheerio and see you then!
Before we head off, a quick recap of the top rumours of the day - featuring Marco Reus to Manchester United, Samuel Eto'o to West Ham, Joel Campbell to AC Milan, Alvaro Arbeloa to Arsenal and Diego Lopez to Chelsea. All that and more in Transfer Talk. Check it.
Transfer Talk: All the latest rumours
Chelsea have announced today that highly rated midfielder John Swift will spend the season on loan at Championship club Rotherham. The 19-year-old made his first appearance for the Blues on the final day of last season against Cardiff. Rotherham boss Steve Evans told the club's official website: "It has taken many weeks to secure the signature of this young man and I suppose I could say my tenacity has paid off."
Will Gary Medel EVER join Inter? The latest rumour - this time from Wales Online - suggests the move is edging closer. The Chilean is reportedly prepared to lower his wage demands to force through a switch to the Serie A club, but the current transfer fee on offer is still £500,000 short of Cardiff's valuation.

According to the Daily Mirror, Aston Villa could let Ron Vlaar leave this summer and are looking down the divisions to replace him with 23-year-old Wolves centre-back Danny Batth. However, Wolves head of football operations Kevin Thelwell has said: "We want him to help us get into the Premier League, rather than him helping someone else in there."

Tell you what Tony Pulis is brilliant at - leaving transfers until the very last day of the window. Every year, without fail, you're guaranteed drama on transfer deadline day with Mr Pulis. The Crystal Palace boss looks set to do the same this year, too, with Brede Hangeland becoming just his third signing of the summer so far. Full details on the move below.

According to the Daily Star, QPR are confident of completing the signing of Juventus full-back Mauricio Isla. The Chile international - also a target for Newcastle - could reportedly move to Loftus Road on a season-long loan deal by the end of the weekend.

The Goal Transfer Talk videos are back, and you know what that means - we're at the business end of the window. Oh yes. We've entered month 3/3 of our monster transfer coverage so, as a little celebration, you can check out a recap of the top done deals so far with Aidan Magee, Sam Lyon and Peter Staunton.
Championship club Blackpool - in turmoil, I think it’s fair to say - now have 13 players on their books... but still no goalkeeper. They have completed the signing of defender Donervorn Daniels (WHAT A NAME) on a 28-day youth loan from West Brom. The 20-year-old has never played higher than League One level.
In fact, speaking of Malaga, they've confirmed this afternoon that goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa - the star of Mexico's World Cup campaign - has signed a three-year deal with the club. The 29-year-old was a free agent after leaving Ajaccio and comes in as a replacement for new Manchester City man Willy Caballero.

The transfer window has been extremely quiet on the done deal front over the last couple of days in the Premier League. Plenty of moves have gone through abroad, though, with Atletico Madrid, Malaga and Olympiacos all busy...
Transfer Zone: Latest confirmed transfers
Facundo Ferreyra: looking likely. Loic Remy: not so much. Newcastle manager Alan Pardew is confident of signing Ferreyra on loan from Shakhtar Donetsk but says the club may have to draw the line on a move for QPR striker Loic Remy. More from the Toon boss below.

Arsenal fans have been waiting many, many years for this! The club FINALLY have a new trophy to add to the Emirates Stadium - the first since they moved home. Woohoo! Here it is...
Yowzers. Connor Wickham returned from Championship loan spells to inspire Sunderland to the great escape last season... but now he could be sold. Black Cats boss Gus Poyet told the Sunderland Echo: "For me, Connor's situation is clear, he needs to sign a new contract or we let him go - we sell him. There is nothing in between. He is an asset to the football club and we paid a lot of money for him."
We knew this deal was close, and Championship club Middlesbrough have now confirmed that 24-year-old right-back Emilio Nsue is set to join from Real Mallorca.

Newcastle have already signed Ayoze Perez and Emmanuel Riviere this summer, with Facundo Ferreyra set to follow, but the Daily Mail claims Alan Pardew is targeting ANOTHER striker in the transfer window. Pardew has confirmed his interest in re-signing Loic Remy, while Papiss Cisse is still at the club. But, sadly, Shola Ameobi is not. Sad face :(
Transfer Talk: Newcastle on lookout for striker
Nope! Not according to Arsene Wenger. Responding to comments from Steven Gerrard that Arsenal were not a big enough club for Luis Suarez last summer, Wenger said at a press conference earlier this afternoon: "You're never too good for Arsenal and Steven Gerrard knows that."

A little reminder in case you missed it earlier: Goal understands Liverpool are closing in on Alberto Moreno after negotiating a £16 million fee with Sevilla for the left-back. Reds chief Ian Ayre is in Spain today to finalise a deal for Moreno and a loan move for fellow Spanish full-back Javier Manquillo.

Arsene Wenger has dismissed suggestions today that Arsenal are interested in signing Porto's Juan Quintero. He did, however, reveal that Manchester United target Thomas Vermaelen could leave the club and said Joel Campbell is part of his plans to feature in the Emirates Cup this weekend. More from Le Boss below.

Southampton manager Ronald Koeman says the club are set to sign Inter midfielder Saphir Taider as part of a swap deal for Pablo Osvaldo. He told BBC Radio Solent: "We are looking for the best for Osvaldo and the best for the club. Taider brings quality and we need that. We need competition in the squad as well and that will be good."
