And that, transfer friends, is that for the day. Thank you very much for following. We'll be back right here to WATCH THIS SPACE, bring you the latest on Balo and more at 09:00 BST on Friday. For now, I'll leave you with the latest rumours - goodbye!
Transfer Talk: All the latest rumours
And, of course, there's the Mario Balotelli situation. In one of the most unlikely transfers of the summer, the Italian is on his way to Liverpool from AC Milan after talks were held between the Reds and his agent in London today. Super Mario has even bid farewell to his team-mates and members of Milan's press office this afternoon. More info below.

We can't let you go without one last look at the Angel Di Maria situation. Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that the midfielder has asked to leave the club, while Paris Saint-Germain are not exactly confident of completing a deal.

I'm afraid we've not had the flurry of transfers today that we were treated to yesterday. But plenty of deals have still been done throughout the week - Rojo, De Guzman, Marin, Banega etc - and you can check them all out in one handy place...

That's the view of the Goal readers, at least. Arsene Wenger confirmed this morning that he wants to sign a defender and defensive midfielder but, with only Olivier Giroud and Yaya Sanogo to choose from up top, our poll results suggest Arsenal are more in need of a new striker.

Blackburn manager Gary Bowyer confirmed earlier today that Hull have made an offer for striker Jordan Rhodes. According to The Times, the Premier League club have offered £10 million as they look to reinvest some of the £12m brought in from the sale of Shane Long, while Press Association Sport is reporting that Blackburn have already turned down Hull's approach.
Mino Raiola is a busy man today. He's been holding talks with Liverpool over Mario Balotelli and has now given an update on Paul Pogba's contract situation at Juventus. He told L'Equipe: "There has not been and there is no meeting with Juventus. We can repeat, however, that for now, Paul is fine in Turin."

Goal Spain's Alberto Pinero: "Valencia seem a more realistic option at this stage, given that Los Che are in the market for a pure No.9 and Negredo would be undisputed first choice at Estadio Mestalla. That said, the potential departures of Angel Di Maria and Sami Khedira would leave Carlo Ancelotti with just 20 senior players in his first-team squad, and the Italian has already stated publicly that he wants 22 in his final group."
Goal understands Real Madrid have made an enquiry to Manchester City over the availability of Alvaro Negredo. The Spaniard, currently sidelined with a broken metatarsal, failed to score a goal in the final four months of last season and City would consider letting him leave for £20 million. Madrid are on the lookout for a new striker and are considering Negredo as an alternative if they fail to sign Radamel Falcao. More details below.

Alan Irvine has revealed that West Brom are interested in signing former Celtic forward Georgios Samaras. The 29-year-old is without a club after leaving the Scottish Premiership champions earlier this summer. Irvine told reporters: "He's a player we're aware of. We have enquired about him. Nothing is done as far as he's concerned."
The Brazilian full-back says he has not felt respected by Barcelona but plans to stay at the club after holding talks with new coach Luis Enrique. He said at a press conference: "I have decided to stay here with Barca. The day will come when I have to go. But I would like to get out with the feeling that I have been a great professional here. If I would leave now I would not go with that feeling."
Dani Alves: I don't feel valued at Barcelona
Everton manager Roberto Martinez says he is considering moving for another striker before the transfer deadline. And when asked about potential interest in free agent Samuel Eto'o, he said: "There are going to be many links. You know that. There's still a long time to go before the window closes. We are focused on how strong we are internally with the players we have."
Time for another done deal. Ahmed Fathi, who you may remember was on trial at Arsenal earlier in the summer, has joined Qatari side Umm Salal from Egyptian club Ahly. The 29-year-old, formerly of Hull, said: "I didn't leave Ahly for money as I preferred to play with the team until the last day before travelling. The current unrest in Egyptian football, and playing the league in two groups without fans are the main reasons that forced me to leave Ahly."
We have a done deal! But it’s allll the way down in League One. Kieran Agard helped fire Rotherham to the Championship last season but has opted to snub a move to Yorkshire rivals Leeds in favour of a drop back down to League One with Bristol City. A rather baffled Steve Evans, Rotherham’s manager, said: "You can go to the wildest place in Africa and when someone says Leeds, people know Leeds United."
It's been awfully quiet on the done deal front today but we've had plenty of developments on the (potentially) done deal front. Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger confirmed earlier that he is still looking to be active in the transfer window and is targeting a new central defender and defensive midfielder. Full quotes below.
Wenger hints at fresh transfer activity
A little reminder in case you missed it earlier that Mario Balotelli has a conversion rate of just 8.39 per cent over the last two seasons. That’s far less than Luis Suarez (20.39%) and Daniel Sturridge (24.71%). In fact, he would be way down in 68th on the chances-to-goal ratio for players who scored five or more in the Premier League last season. Yikes...
In case you missed it earlier, Mario Balotelli has said cheerio to his AC Milan team-mates and staff at the club ahead of his proposed move to Liverpool. The Italian's agent, Mino Raiola, has been in London today to hold talks with the Reds while Balotelli completed his final training session with Milan. The Serie A club are holding out for a fee in the region of €28 million (£22.4m).

More from Blackburn manager Gary Bowyer to BBC Radio Lancashire: "There has been an enquiry [from Hull] which has been taken to the board and the owners and that's as much as I know. We gave him a new contract recently so we thought that would be the end of it, but I totally understand that Premier League clubs would be interested in someone that scores as many goals as he does."
