On that note, we bid you farewell. Thanks very much for following throughout a very busy day in the transfer window. We'll be back right here at 09:00 BST on Wednesday for more of the same. I'll leave you with the full story as Morgan Schneiderlin SLAMS Southampton for opposing his move to Tottenham. That's your lot - cheerio!
Schneiderlin slams Southampton
The club have already brought in over £100 million from the sales of five players this summer and Krueger sees no reason to let any more depart. He told Sky Sports News earlier: "Any reports that Rodriguez or Schneiderlin are leaving or we are in engaged in transfer conversations are totally off the mark. They will not be sold."
Schneiderlin and Rodriguez not for sale
By the looks of things, anyway. Saints chairman Ralph Krueger insisted earlier today that both Morgan Schneiderlin and Jay Rodriguez, who appeared to be Tottenham-bound, will be staying at the club this summer. But Morgan doesn't seem to see it that way...

If you missed it earlier, Juventus are adamant Manchester United target Arturo Vidal will not leave the club this summer. Juve coach Massimiliano Allegri told reporters: "Vidal will stay here and he's very happy about this. I spoke with him about his fitness, we're happy he will stay with us."

West Brom have announced they have agreed a deal with Norwegian club Rosenborg to sign Costa Rica international Cristian Gamboa... but the move is subject to a work permit. The 24-year-old right-back has agreed personal terms and passed a medical but, as he has not played enough international games over the last two years, an FA panel will need to discuss the matter.
Brazilian newspaper O Dia claims Ronaldinho is set to join Boca Juniors after leaving Atletico Mineiro and - surprise, surprise - has already planned a goodbye party! Yep, that's right. The Dinho is reportedly throwing a huge party at his Barra da Tijuca mansion in Rio de Janeiro to celebrate the move before leaving for Buenos Aires in the next few days.
Frank Lampard and David Villa have a new team-mate! New York City FC have completed the signing of their fifth player - 28-year-old midfielder Andrew Jacobson from FC Dallas. He joins "in exchange for NYCFC’s highest pick in the third round of the 2016 MLS SuperDraft". And we ALL know what that means... #SUPERDRAFT
Luis Suarez can't train with Barcelona just yet, but Ivan Rakitic can - and he reckons it's a lot tougher than Sevilla. He told Sport.es: "The feelings I have at Barcelona are very good. I'm learning that [at Barcelona] it all goes a bit faster and it is very intense. You have to work very hard. It is no wonder the players here are of great quality."
Rakitic: Life at Barca tougher but better
On the day Chris Burke arrives, Radoslaw Majewski leaves Nottingham Forest after five years to join Championship rivals Huddersfield on a season-long loan deal.
Championship club Nottingham Forest have announced the signing of midfielder Chris Burke on a two-year deal. The 30-year-old Scot moves to the City Ground after his three-year spell at Birmingham, where he scored 28 goals in 155 games, came to an end earlier in the summer.
More from Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers: "He has everything to be world class. He's super fast, has a wonderful touch, he's a good size and is aggressive. I've seen enough of him over the course of the last couple of seasons to think this is a kid who, coming into the right environment, can genuinely be world class. He can light up world football, for sure."
Rodgers: Origi one of world's most exciting talents
A busy afternoon in the transfer window, then. Ross Barkley has agreed a new four-year deal with Everton, Southampton have told Tottenham that Jay Rodriguez and Morgan Schneiderlin are not for sale, and Divock Origi has completed his move to Liverpool (and rejoined Lille). Full stories below.

Okay, so now Jay Rodriguez and Morgan Schneiderlin are apparently staying, everything is fine and dandy at Southampton. Right? Here's some more of what Saints chairman Ralph Krueger told Sky Sports News: "Now we have finances and we are excited to continue in the rebuilding process. Over the next few weeks we will have players coming in and we will make transfers to strengthen the squad. Our plan is to get the right deals and the right players."
Yikes. Extremely high praise from Brendan Rodgers. No pressure! The deal has been in the works for almost a month now. In fact, Divock Origi was first shown around Liverpool's Melwood training complex in early July after holding talks with the club shortly after Belgium's exit from the World Cup.
Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers: "For me, he can be one of the most exciting talents in world football. I genuinely believe that. You see a lot of good players, but this kid - for 19 years of age - he burst onto the scene at the World Cup, but we'd tracked him before that, we'd seen him as a young player playing in the youth internationals. He has everything to be world class."
He told the club’s official website: "I am very, very happy and delighted a club as big as Liverpool showed interest in me. I'm very excited. I know it's a club with a great history, great fans and a lot of great players. For me, Liverpool is one of the greatest clubs in the world and I'm very excited to be part of this great history."
Divock Origi, Liverpool's sixth signing of the summer, moves to Anfield for £10 million after an impressive World Cup with Belgium and has immediately been loaned back to Lille for the 2014-15 season. More details below.
Official: Origi joins Liverpool
...on the way in a moment! Get ready...
A reminder that Goal understands Napoli's bid to sign midfielder Marouane Fellaini from Manchester United has stalled. United are only requesting £13 million for the Belgian - less than half what they paid for him last summer - but the Serie A club still believe the fee is too high.
