The veteran forward is a free agent having left Parma by mutual consent, and his former coach at AC Milan has talked up the quality he still possesses. Manchester United have rejected an approach from Paris Saint Germain for youngster Adnan Januzaj. The central defender has made 20 appearances for the Serie A side this season, which has activated an agreement to make his loan deal from Newcastle United permanent. The French defender initially moved to the Italian capital in September on a temporary deal but has now made the move permanent, Newcastle have confirmed. "Newcastle United defender Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa has completed a transfer to AS Roma after meeting a contractual condition contained in the loan agreement between the clubs," a club statement read.
