Fenerbahce board member Ilhan Eksioglu has tweeted that the Turkish club could look to sign Arda Turan on loan until he is allowed to play for Barcelona in January. They attempted to sign him four years ago before his move to Atletico Madrid.
He wrote: "Arda will not play in Barcelona until January. As our president said before he can play for Fenerbahce."

Well, just 10 days before Barcelona’s presidential election, it is officially KICKING OFF between the Barca big dogs. Potential president Agusti Benedito says the signing of Arda Turan has caused a “huge problem”.
He added: "A signing that we can't use until six months from now because, and we mustn't forget this, we are under sanction from Fifa because of that person [Josep Maria Bartomeu]. He's going to pay a big price for this disrespect towards the members. He is crossing the line."

Paul Clennam: “Liverpool have signed six players already this summer as they look to improve on last season's sixth-placed finish, with Roberto Firmino, James Milner, Nathaniel Clyne, Danny Ings, Joe Gomez and Adam Bogdan already recruited.
“The club are also expected to launch a bid for Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke, although his asking price remains fixed at £32.5m.”
Goal can confirm that Raheem Sterling has informed Brendan Rodgers and Liverpool that he will NOT join his team-mates on their pre-season tour of Australia and south east Asia. The club have refused to comment but, with Manchester City readying an improved bid, we understand Sterling is not in the right frame of mind to join up with the squad.
Manchester City, over to you....
According to the Daily Mirror, Chelsea have had a £20 million offer for Isco turned down by Real Madrid. The Premier League champions are so keen to sign the Spaniard that they’re prepared to let Oscar leave to fund a deal.

Someone pass the salt. We got some pinching to do. The Daily Mail says Arsene Wenger would be interested in signing Angel Di Maria for Arsenal this summer. Problem: The £280,000-a-week wages Manchester United are currently paying him...

First up, an apology. I know, I know, it’s crazy to think, but our transfer sensors can be a little out of sync sometimes. We said yesterday that Real Madrid were “willing” to let Iker Casillas join Porto on a free transfer, but, well that doesn’t tell half the story. Allow Goal Spain’s Alberto Pinero to explain...
Casillas close to joining Porto... but yet to agree payoff
