Well, another day concludes here. It's been quite a day, with the controversy over Clint Dempsey, and FSG saying he's going to be a Liverpool player. And, we've had Zlatan Ibrahimovic be officially unveiled at PSG. What a day, and we even had pre-season wins for both Man United and Tottenham.

This is it for this LIVE! blog, but stay tuned for some post-match reaction, and other news breaking on the website. But in the meantime, I've been Chris Teale, and I really appreciate you joining me, and joining in. Have a good night, everyone.

21:49 BST

Now, here's some big news. Our man Greg Stobart has revealed that Zeki Fryers has spent the day with Tottenham Hotspur as he looks to finalise a move from Manchester United. He's expected to sign by the weekend, and really annoy Sir Alex in the process. Brave boy.

21:39 BST

In actual, real news, it's FULL TIME at Stevenage, and Tottenham are victorious by a scoreline of 2-0, thanks to goals from Sigurdsson and a late strike from Yago Falque. Reaction to follow.

21:38 BST

In transfer news, Boris Becker, the TENNIS player, has Tweeted that Robin van Persie has signed a new two-year deal with Arsenal. He was superb on the BBC's coverage of Wimbledon. You know, the TENNIS. What does he know about football? Am I setting myself up for an enormous fall?

21:34 BST

When he's not doing cringe-inducing adverts for Just for Men, Luis Figo is busy having his say on football, as you might expect. Now, he says that his fellow Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo can win the Ballon d'Or. Mind, a certain Mr. Messi might have something to say about that.

21:27 BST

It's still 1-0 to Tottenham over there in Stevenage, with about 10 minutes left in that one. Reaction from the Man U game should be on its way soon, by the way. Don't go anywhere.

21:25 BST

Maybe you didn't see the game tonight. If you didn't have a read of our match report here, and our player ratings here. They're both well worth a read, honest.

21:23 BST

Well, there's been some varied responses to the Man U result on Twitter.

@David_OGL u have no idea. i ran upstairs to watch it. i was only excited by the fact that i saw the players.
@Ehijiele1 ManU's 1st Game of the 2012/13 Pre-season tour ends with a victory.This is only preview for many more victories 2 come#GGMU

What do you think? We're @GoalUK

21:18 BST

It's still 1-0 Spurs at the Lamex Stadium, with AVB making a raft of substitutions, including another debutant, Souleymane Coulibaly. About 72 minutes gone in that one.

21:13 BST

Meanwhile, Steve Kean's back and having his say about a certain Junior Hoilett, who is a free agent. Blackburn made him a "fantastic" offer, but he rejected it, and it seems that German club Borussia Monchengladbach are favourites to sign him.

21:08 BST

Well, what do we think of that result for Manchester United? They could have had more, and they could have conceded some as well. Interesting, or is it too early to say? Get in touch on Twitter, we're @GoalUK, and I'll publish the best.

21:04 BST

And just like that, it's full time in Durban. It's a win for the Red Devils in their tour of South Africa, as they take a slightly uneasy 1-0 victory over Amazulu FC.

21:02 BST

And it's 1-0 to Tottenham! After some great work from Andros Townsend, new man Gylfi Sigurdsson is on hand to sweep the ball home!

21:01 BST

Well, here comes Shinji Kagawa for his debut in the red shirt of Manchester United. He's got a couple of minutes left in Durban to at least give us a vague idea of what he can do.

20:57 BST

Davide Petrucci hits the bar in Durban! The Red Devils are still only 1-0 up, but should be out of sight by now, as the Italian sees a volley rattle the crossbar.

20:53 BST

A transfer story that has the potential to rumble on and on all summer (oh good, I hear you cry) is that of Frenchman Mathieu Debuchy, whose move to Newcastle could go ahead if his current club Lille find a replacement. This is according to their director general Frederic Paquet, who has his say here.

20:48 BST

Oh, and Chicarito has a glorious chance for 2-0! Hernandez can't find the finish from six yards out, and Man U are still only 1-0 up!

20:46 BST

I only know of two defenders to wear the number 9 shirt. One of them is my cousin, and the other is Khalid Boulharouz, who has secured himself a move to Sporting Lisbon. He wore that shirt at Chelsea, where he was affected by injuries. Poor man. Anyway, here's the full story.

20:42 BST

Things seem to be heating up a bit in Durban, as Manchester United are having some problems with Amazulu FC. The home side are having a few chances, and probably could have had a penalty after a foul by Tyler Blackett.

20:37 BST

Well, it's half time at the Lamex Stadium, and it's 0-0 between Stevenage and Tottenham. It's been a decent performance from the away side, but they can't quite find an opening yet.
